We passed through the town of Date for lunch. It’s a small, local spot with warm food and countryside views. The food was so delicious and comforting. We stopped by Lake Hill Farm — this place is just pure countryside peace. We had their pudding and cream puff as well as some drinks. Their milk flavour was so creamy and fresh. After that quiet break at Lake Hill Farm, we made our way to the final stop of the day. From here, you get an incredible panoramic view of Lake Toya and the mountains around it. It was such a peaceful day, and Lake Toya was truly one of the most beautiful, calming places we’ve ever been.
Join me on a calm and peaceful day exploring the stunning area around Lake Toya in Hokkaido, Japan. From watching brown bears at Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch, to enjoying a slow lunch at Restaurant Yu, relaxing at Lake Hill Farm with homemade snacks, and ending the day with breathtaking views from the Silo Observation Deck — it was a day full of quiet beauty and gentle moments. Lake Toya truly felt like a place where time slows down. I hope this video brings you a little peace too. 🌿
