I'm not sure if non-Japanese people will watch these sorts of self-congratulatory videos, but I'm writing my comment in English for them.
I'm a Kyoto local. Certainly, Kyoto has been regaining some calm because fewer Chinese tourists are visiting Japan. This exemplifies a good solution to so-called overtourism. Japan has excessively accommodated overseas visitors so far, but the Japanese Government should impose an entry tax on them across the board and abolish duty-free shops. In that sense, I expect the Takaichi Cabinet, especially Minister Onoda, to handle this issue.
