撮影日 2025年10月18日 喜多川歌麿にゆかりの深い栃木市で、10月11日～19日まで『歌麿まつり』が開催されました。最大の見どころは船で花魁道中する『歌麿道中』です。花魁道中は日本各地で見られますが、水上での道中はこの『歌麿まつり』だけです。船には栃木市長や歌麿や蔦谷重三郎等に縁のある地域の方々も乗船されて、賑やかな雰囲気でした。川沿いの趣のある家並も風情がありました。
Video filmed on October 18th, 2025. The Utamaro Festival was held from October 11th to 19th in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, which has a deep connection to Kitagawa Utamaro. The biggest attraction is the Utamaro Dochu, a procession of courtesans by boat. Courtesan processions can be seen all over Japan, but the Utamaro Festival in Tochigi City is the only one that takes place on water. The mayor of Tochigi and local people with ties to Utamaro and Tsutaya Juzaburo were on board the boat, creating a lively atmosphere. The quaint rows of houses along the river were also very charming.
