City burned to the ground in Japan

A massive fire broke out in the coastal Saganoseki district of Oita City, Kyushu Island, Japan, and quickly spread through residential areas. According to city officials, the fire has completely or partially destroyed over 170 buildings, including homes and small shops. Fire officials say the fire has even engulfed a nearby forest, with no end in sight. A strong wind warning has been issued in Oita City, with reports of strong northerly winds. Sparks were flying at the scene, and the fire quickly spread to neighboring buildings. The situation was reminiscent of the Los Angeles fires a year ago. The flames spread rapidly due to dense wooden buildings, narrow streets, and strong gusty winds. The fire has engulfed over 40,000 square meters. Firefighters have been battling the fire for nearly 12 hours, with dozens of fire crews and specialized equipment deployed. Some areas remain without power, and roads are blocked. According to preliminary reports, no serious injuries were reported, but the fate of one man remains unknown. Dozens of residents who fled their homes were temporarily placed in emergency evacuation centers. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but experts do not rule out the possibility that it may have started in one of the residential buildings and quickly spread to neighboring buildings. Firefighters are still battling the blaze on the ground, and helicopters have repeatedly dropped water on the scene. However, due to the extensive nature of the fire, extinguishing it will likely take some time. 1. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but initial evidence suggests it may have been caused by a heating device or electrical system failure. One person was killed and one sustained minor injuries.(from Japan)

  8. Did a Chinese or a Muslim do this? Watch out: the greedy Chinese and corrupt Japanese now covet those empty lands. They'll pressure the shocked and stricken: they'll buy cheap then resell at huge profit to Chinese land speculators. Pass an ordinance that no burnt land shall be sold.

  9. Can fairly be classified as a natural disaster. I see excellent work from fire containment perspective. Very rapid suppression of a fire that could have gotten much larger without intervention. BIG APPLAUSE FOR FIRE FIGHTERS.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

  10. Amos 1:13-15
[13]Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
[14]But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
[15]And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
