【My favorite in やんばる】シークァーサー収穫体験
We went to Kunigami Village for a shikwasa (shrimp) harvesting experience in Yanbaru. The field in front is mangoes, and from here we start the shikwasa field. This year, the fruit seems to be hanging in clusters. It only lasts for a moment, but it’s a professional harvesting technique. It’s hot, so we crawl under the trees and start harvesting! Our goal is one box per hour! We ‘ll do our best! The insects sometimes scare us, but they’re better than snakes, so we don’t mind. Huh? The amount isn’t increasing… There are spiders that don’t like to move… We also found a rare snail, and our harvest has increased! For lunch, we went to the Kunigami Village Products Center. Since my child is growing, we ordered soba noodles with bean sprouts and half a beef, and a luxurious order of six pieces of nigiri sushi (with shiibun sashimi). Of course, we ate it all! It was delicious, thank you for the meal! I highly recommend the Products Center! Now, we’re back in the fields to start the afternoon session. The sun is stronger than it was in the morning. We harvested three boxes in five hours, but once you get used to it, you can harvest one box in an hour! I once again realized how hard farming is. I have a lot of respect for farmers! I finished with a little bit of Shikuwasa. Good job ! So to prevent a hangover, I’ll add some fresh Shikuwasa to my beer. Masaibitan!
