You can stroll along the leaf-lined pathway It is famous as a flowering spot with azaleas in full bloom in May. The view of the red brick-roofed main building and Lake Ashinoko can be seen from the hill of azaleas. Lake Ashinoko Kojiri Park ( Kanagawa Prefecture ) The area on the north shore of Lake Ashinoko is called “Kojiri” and is a port of arrival and departure for tourist boats. Visitor Center, Hakone Ropeway station, etc. You can also rent a leisure boat and enjoy a walk on the lake. There are also a “Wild Bird Forest” and “Lakeside Park” by the lake. Shakushi-Toge Pass and Mikuni Pass ( Shizuoka Prefecture ) Shakushi-Toge Pass ( Shizuoka Prefecture ) Shakushi-toge is one of the viewing platforms in Ashinoko Skyline. It is located at an altitude of 1030m, almost halfway to the Ashinoko Skyline This is the place where you can see the foot of the magnificent Mt Fuji. Mikuni Pass ( Shizuoka Prefecture ) Mikuni Pass has the best view of the Ashinoko Skyline, and The view overlooks the foot of the magnificent Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. Fujimi-Toge Pass ( Kanagawa Prefecture ) Fujimi-Toge is an observation point along the prefectural road leading from Lake Ashinoko to Mt Taikanzan. This is one of the best view points of Lake Ashinoko and Mt Fuji. The best place to look is the observation deck just beyond the observation parking lot called “Tengakudai”! The evening westerly sun shines on Mt Fuji. From Fujimi-Toge, you can see Sagami Bay to the southeast and watch the sunrise. If you look back, you can even see the red Fuji… Mt Taikanzan ( Kanagawa Prefecture ) Mt. Taikanzan is located at 1,011m above sea level, southeast of Lake Ashinoko Mt. Fuji rises up behind Lake Ashinoko and Hakone’s outer rim Mt. ■芦ノ湖 元箱根 ( 神奈川県 )
芦ノ湖（あしのこ）は、箱根山の火山活動によってできたカルデラ湖で、南東岸の「元箱根」は富士山が望める人気スポットで、遊覧船の発着港もあり多数の便が運行されています。

■恩賜箱根公園 ( 神奈川県 )
恩賜箱根公園（おんしはこねこうえん）は、芦ノ湖の西岸から突き出た塔ヶ島と呼ばれる半島にある公園で、離宮を模した「湖畔展望館」のデッキから芦ノ湖と富士山が一望できます。また湖畔に近い「弁天の鼻展望台」もツツジとともに芦ノ湖と富士山が見える絶景ポイントです。

■箱根 山のホテル ( 神奈川県 )
「山のホテル」は、芦ノ湖湖畔にあるリゾートホテルで、まるで古城が建っているような白い壁と赤い屋根が印象的です。箱根随一のツツジの名所としても知られていますが、紅葉期も素晴らしく、特に「紅葉の小径」では、芦ノ湖を横目に眺めながら落ち葉が敷き詰められた小道を散策できます。ホテルの本館前には手入れの行き届いた庭園があり、秋の紅葉時期の美しさは格別です。

■芦ノ湖 湖尻 ( 神奈川県 )
芦ノ湖の西北岸は「湖尻」（こじり）と呼ばれており、観光遊覧船のターミナル港があるほか、大涌谷へ通じる「箱根ロープウエイ」の始発駅もあります。また湖尻園地には「野鳥の森」や「湖畔ふれあい園地」があり、比較的静かに紅葉狩り散策を満喫できるほか、レジャーボートを借りて湖上散歩も楽しめます。

■仙石原 ( 神奈川県 )
仙石原ススキ草原は、芦ノ湖 湖尻の北方にあるススキの大草原で、秋には黄金色に波打つススキ草原の中を散策できます。大人の背丈でもススキの中に隠れてしまい、まるでススキの迷路をさまよっているかのようです…

■乙女峠 ( 11月中旬～下旬 )
乙女峠は静岡県御殿場市と神奈川県箱根町の県境にある峠で、「富士見三峠」の一つに数えられます。乙女トンネルの静岡県側に「FUJIMI CAFE」があり、その前を通る国道の沿道から富士山がよく望めます。また、カフェの裏側にある軽登山道を登ると乙女峠展望台があり、「乙女の鐘」が設置されていて、富士山の眺めも抜群です。

■芦ノ湖スカイライン（杓子峠・三国峠） ( 11月上旬～下旬 )
芦ノ湖スカイラインは、神奈川県と静岡県にまたがる有料自動車道で、箱根峠付近の国道1号から、芦ノ湖北岸（湖尻水門）付近に至る延長10.75kmの有料道路です。箱根火山の外輪山の外側を通っており、富士山と芦ノ湖両方の景色を堪能できる快適な観光道路です。沿道にある「杓子峠」と「三国峠」をご紹介します。

■天閣台 富士見峠 ( 11月上旬～下旬 )
富士見峠は、芦ノ湖から大観山に通じる県道７５号沿いにある展望所で、芦ノ湖と富士山を望む絶景ポイントの一つです。駐車場の少し先にある天閣台からの展望が良好です。南東方向に相模湾も望め、朝日を拝めるポイントで、ふり返れば紅富士が見られることも！

■大観山 ( 11月上旬～下旬 )
大観山（たいかんざん）は、箱根外輪山の南東に位置する絶景ポイントで、芦ノ湖や箱根外輪山の背後に富士山がそびえ立ちます。有料道路である箱根ターンパイクの終着点にありますが、芦ノ湖方面から無料の県道でもアクセスできます。
