【高知ひとり旅】高知のグルメも観光も楽しむ満喫プラン!絶品カツオが最高に美味しかった✨|ひろめ市場|屋台餃子|OMO7高知|桂浜|高知旅行【kochi vlog】 [ENG SUB]
Hello! This time, I’m traveling solo to Kochi. I arrived at Kochi Airport just after 11:00 AM! I immediately hopped on a bus and headed to Kochi Station. It’s about 25 minutes from the airport, so it’s pretty close! (^^) I arrived at Kochi Station! Since this is the hometown of Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman, there are lots of Anpanman figures here! I went to the tourist information center right next to the station and bought a discounted all-day tram pass! I’m going to Katsurahama tomorrow, so I also bought an unlimited bus pass. It’s convenient because I can use it on any day I want! There was a statue of the Tosa Sanshi (Three Patriots of Tosa) in the square in front of the station. Speaking of Kochi, this statue is definitely him! It was bigger than I imagined, and it was really cool! I continued on the tram and got off at Hariyamabashi Bridge. I came to see the bridge, a tourist attraction. Apparently, Hariyamabashi Bridge appears in the Kochi folk song “Yosakoi Bushi.” I spotted Anpanman right next to it! The jam man was small. Next, I’m going to eat bonito ♪ I got off at Ohashi-dori and arrived at Hirome Market, a popular spot in Kochi ♪ Let’s go inside ! The market is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops! It’s a gourmet theme park with over 60 stores , and many people come to enjoy drinks from the afternoon, so it’s bustling ♪ Their seared tuna is the best in Kochi. It says so!! I have high expectations!! Let’s order (*^^*) I’m glad it’s a mug size♪ This is my first time trying salted seared tuna! I’m looking forward to it! It’s thickly sliced and melts in your mouth♪ It’s fatty and delicious! The salty flavor really brings out the flavor of the bonito. This shop specializes in straw-grilled bonito tataki. They also serve green laver tempura and a variety of other deep-fried dishes. I was attracted by the word “Tosa” and bought the Aburicha . I think it’s a tea that’s only available in Kochi. It’s roasted green tea (*^^*) The “Yairotei” I just tried is soft, while the “Myojinmaru” has a firm, chewy texture. It seems to be the most popular! It’s deep-fried, but it’s light and easy to eat! I really like the strong flavor! Delicious~♪ I was very satisfied to be able to compare different types of bonito (^^) It was delicious♪ I came here to buy “Hoshi Pan,” a specialty of Kochi . This is a long-established bakery founded in 1927. I got the Hoshi Pan I was looking for! It looks cute♪ There were other delicious-looking breads too. I also bought a lactic acid bacteria drink called “Reeple” that is only available in Kochi♪ With my purchases safe, I headed to the hotel. I was curious about a warabimochi specialty store so I stopped by. I bought a warabimochi drink called Hojicha Latte. It had jiggly warabimochi in it and was super delicious! The roasted green tea latte was also great as it wasn’t too sweet♪ I took the tram and got off at Saienbacho, the station nearest to the hotel. This time I’m staying at Hoshino Resorts’ OMO7 Kochi. I’m looking forward to watching the Yosakoi show there at night♪ I checked in. There was an amenity corner next to the front desk. This time I’m staying in a room on the 13th floor. You have to take your shoes off to enter. Now let’s do a quick room tour. There’s a red table. The hotel’s indoor clothing has a nice view. There’s nothing in the refrigerator. There ‘s a kettle and bottled water. The water is bottled from the water server on each floor. The cups are cute♡ Tea bags . The toilet is private and clean . The washroom is also clean. The hair dryer is from Salonia. The shower room is compact but I didn’t use it as I went to the large public bath. I went out for dinner . I took the tram and came to eat Kochi’s specialty, “yatai gyoza”. I arrived a little before opening time but there was already a line…! Let’s eat. The skin was crispy and delicious!! It had a strong garlicky flavor and was juicy. I also ordered daikon radish for the oden . The flavor was well-absorbed all the way to the inside, and the oden was delicious. The second place we went to was an izakaya . First, I ordered “black edamame” ♪ It was salty and delicious. It was the thickest slice of the day. I was happy to be able to eat so much of my favorite bonito. It was chewy and satisfying (*^^*) I returned to the hotel. Next, I went to see the “Yosakoi Show” on the first floor of the hotel ♪ We can enjoy it together with this “Yosakoi Naruko” ♪ Photography was allowed in the show, so I’ll share a little bit. Apparently, the choreography and music are all original. I returned to my room, so I’m going to eat the hat bread I bought for lunch. I’m also looking forward to eating some Reeple ♪ Oh! This is like Pilcru, and it’s quite sweet . The ears of the hat are crispy! It tastes like melon bread . Yup! This is delicious ♪ The middle is fluffy! The texture is completely different and interesting. Next, I went to the large public bath. Towels were in the room, but they were also at the entrance. The large public bath was stylish and spacious. The view from the open-air bath was especially amazing. There was also a dry sauna, which was very relaxing. (^^) We also had a drink after the bath♪ Ikegawa Ichibancha tea and a ginger yuzu drink. Both were delicious♡ Day 1 is over. Good night. The weather is great today too(*^^*) Breakfast is a buffet – I’m looking forward to it♪ There are lots of varieties, including Kochi’s local cuisine! It’s a luxurious buffet! I’m happy to have a marinated bonito bowl for breakfast♪ I also had sweet potato tempura yuzu French toast♡ The stew is refreshing but flavorful and the best! The rice is also delicious! I tried different kinds of bonito in Kochi this time, but this was my favorite(*^^*) It was so delicious I’m so happy♪ Kochi’s soul food, “Imoten,” is made by deep-frying sweet potatoes in tempura batter, and the batter is soft and chewy! The sweet potatoes were fluffy and sweet and delicious. On my second round, I had the heart bread and keema curry. They were all delicious , so I ate a lot! Thank you for the meal! Next, I’ll be taking part in the “Supermarket Tour.” Leaving OMO7 Kochi, I head to the Sunshine Claire store. I wanted to buy lots of souvenirs unique to Kochi. Vegetables are direct from the source, so they’re cheap. I bought the recommended cucumber and corn. Next, I went to the ponzu (citrus ) section, where they also gave me a savory test . The ponzu sauce , “Yuzuzukushi,” has a stronger yuzu flavor than dashi , and it goes well with a variety of dishes. Speaking of Kochi, it’s nabeyaki ramen! The noodles were chewy and the soup was delicious. I tried boiled bonito, which I’d never seen before! It was delicious, with a concentrated umami flavor. Next, I tried the yakiniku (grilled meat) sauce. It was sweet and spicy, without garlic, but had a rich flavor and was perfect when dipped in meat. Kochi’s specialty snack, “imokenpi,” wasn’t too sweet and was easy to eat. Another famous snack in Kochi, “Millet Biscuit,” was packaged in a collaboration with the Pokémon Nuovo. It was fragrant and delicious. I got a “crust-only” version of the hat bun I had yesterday!! I absolutely love it. It was so fun to see all the products unique to Kochi♪ I ended up buying more than I expected!! I’ll send my purchases by mail. The staff packed them up in a cardboard box and kindly guided me around, which was a lot of fun . Thank you very much (*^^*) I’m back at the hotel, so I’ll check out. OMO7 Kochi was amazing!! If you’re traveling to Kochi, I highly recommend staying there (^^) Next, I’ll take the bus to Katsurahama. I used the “MY Yu Bus Ticket” I bought on the first day. I arrived at Katsurahama, so first I’ll have lunch on the ocean terrace. I went to a cafe that serves Tosa Hachikin Jidori burgers. The interior is green and cute, and the chicken is juicy, tender, and incredibly delicious!! I also love the mayonnaise seasoning♪ The buns are fluffy too! I’m very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Now, let’s go sightseeing. As we climbed the stairs, we saw the statue of Sakamoto Ryoma. It was huge, apparently 13.5 meters tall. Next, we went to the coast. Next, we went to Cape Ryuo, a power spot with a great view. It was a rocky mountain, and as we climbed the stairs, we found Kaizumi Shrine . We arrived at the top and had a great view. The sky and sea were blue and beautiful. Next, we went to the aquarium. There was some construction going on, so tickets were half price. There were sea lions! We discovered that you could feed them! The sea lion noticed a fish and made a nice catch! I was glad he looked happy♪ The penguins were cute♡ The capybara was eating . I wanted a doll of the mascot character, Otodo-chan, so I tried my hand at UFO catcher! I couldn’t catch one (tears) There was also a doctor fish, which I tried for the first time. Eeek, it tickled (>_<) I gave up right away (lol) The aquarium was fun ♪ Next, I had dessert. It was Butterfly Pea Tea, a shop where you can enjoy Japanese sweets made with roasted green tea ♪ The spoon was shaped like Ryoma...! You can really taste the roasted green tea and it's delicious! The shiratama was also chewy and delicious ♪ The shop was also calm and comfortable. I took the bus to the airport and finally had dinner at the airport. The mackerel was so meaty and fatty and it was really delicious!! My first trip to Kochi was so much fun ♪ From now on, I want to conquer all of Shikoku. Thank you for watching until the end
