【冬なのに!?】北見市ノマドワーク車中泊の旅、初冬に車載FFストーブの不調!急遽旭川市のビルダー、アルペジオ社へ向かい修理中に旭川の街を楽しむ愛犬とキャンピングカーで旅をする熟年夫婦のバンライフ。
We are a middle-aged couple traveling in Hokkaido with our dog on a nomadic work trip. Winter is fast approaching. We’re currently in Kitami City. Heating is a necessity in Hokkaido’s winter, but our in-car FF stove won’t light . It’s even displaying an error code. Surviving without heating is impossible. We’re in trouble. We brought an electric heater just in case. Fortunately, we have two portable power sources, one 1500W and one 1000W. We’ve made an appointment with Arpeggio, a builder in Asahikawa, three days later. We’ll use these to get through until then. Thankfully, it’s not the middle of winter. Corgi travel, van life with a corgi. Osa, Mamachan, and Kotaro. Arpeggio. Snow is covering the mountain pass. We’ve switched to winter tires at home. Arpeggio camper sales. Kotaro is a favorite of the Arpeggio staff. Maintenance in progress. Arpeggio restroom. A rest area for campervan travelers. No overnight stays are permitted on the premises. The facility is equipped with tables and chairs, a washing machine with dryer, a microwave, a heater, a TV, a toilet, a sink, and a refrigerator. The maintenance will take until the evening. Let’s enjoy Asahikawa. It’s been a while since I last drove a non-campervan. It’s so different, it feels a bit refreshing. There’s a restaurant in Asahikawa I’ve been wanting to try. First, we head to the restaurant. Arpeggio. Daisetsuzanrokusha . Daisetsuzanrokusha. The wild garlic Sasa pork sausage that Isamu and Osa received from a friend was delicious. There are so many things I’m interested in. Let’s splurge a little . We’ll have Sasa pork loin for Kotaro too. I’m glad we came. Asahikawa also has many parks that are great for walking Kotaro, so we’ll go and check them out. Daisetsuzanrokusha. Kitasaito Garden. Asahikawa Kitasaito Garden. Since we’re in Asahikawa, we definitely want to try Asahikawa ramen. Kitasaito Garden. Himawari. Himawari Ramen Specialty Shop. Salt-flavored Morumen, soy sauce-flavored Morumen. Due to limitations on filming, this video will be silent. The noodles are coated in a salted offal broth. Delicious. I chose the morumen soy sauce. The savory soy sauce flavor. The offal is tender. The rich, mouthwatering soup. I’m happy it’s packed with offal. The fragrantly grilled offal is amazing. I couldn’t stop eating. A change. The salt brings out the umami of the offal directly, and the fragrant soy sauce is appealing. I’m glad I came to eat. Kotaro needs something good too. After researching, I found a delicious-looking soft-serve ice cream shop. It seems to be in Ramen Village, so I’ll check it out. TUMUGI, a Hokkaido premium soft-serve ice cream specialty store. I wonder if Kotaro will be satisfied with the delicious soft-serve ice cream? It seems the FF stove maintenance is finished, too. I returned to Arpeggio. I was worried about what would happen if the FF stove malfunctioned, but the Arpeggio staff always responds quickly and courteously. They are reliable builders. Asahikawa City is one of my favorite cities. I’m glad we were able to enjoy it unexpectedly. Preparing dinner. Sasa pork loin for Kotaro. Osa tastes Kotaro’s meat, not stealing it. All she has to do is heat it up. Dinner is ready. Kotaro’s dinner. Sparkling rosé bought at a winery in Kitami she visited previously. Beautiful color. Bloody orange? The feast begins. The umami of the meat pairs well with the slightly sweet sauce. Don’t drink too much. Isn’t that terrible? Delicious food makes you want to drink more, right? This time, I went to Asahikawa and was a bit busy. I also went to a restaurant I’d been interested in. I also ate some delicious Asahikawa ramen. The stove was repaired, so I can stay warm. So, let’s enjoy some more drinks tonight. I bought some Sasabuta salted pork char siu from Daisetsuzanrokusha. It goes well with alcohol. And of course, it’s also delicious on top of ramen.
