Hello, I’m zensenekootoko! I am in Tokyo right now. Today, I would like to bring you a flight from Tokyo to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. I’m really excited because this time I’ll be flying in Business Class. Let’s go! Since I’m flying Thai Airways Business Class, I can go to the lounge, so I will. I stopped by the ANA Lounge for the first time. I’m going to eat a Japanese onigiri (rice ball) before leaving Japan. Now, I will board the 10:35 AM flight bound for Bangkok. By the way, I will be boarding with Group 1, here on the right side. Thank you very much. Thank you. Have a good flight. Please. Well, I’m going to board Thai Airways now! It’s been a while. And this is Business Class, which I’ve never flown before, so I’m incredibly excited. By the way, I’m probably the only one dressed like this on board. Well, I wanted to fly casually, so I’m just wearing this T-shirt. I’m wearing Uniqlo from head to toe, by the way. Oh wow, this is my first time boarding from the left side. Here it is, 12A. Wow. It looks like this. Amazing, isn’t it? I immediately received a hot towel. And I also got water. Roughly speaking, I’m now going to introduce the Business Class seat. First of all, there is a blanket and a pillow. This. The fluffy ones. Slippers that you only get in a decent rank hotel. These are nice. The headphones say AKG, like this. They look quite solid. This is the Business Class amenity item. The Jim Thompson one. Wow. It’s so good! I’ll probably take this home without opening it. The monitor in front of me. It looks like there’s a charging outlet here. And… Down below, there are the details of this aircraft written there. What is this? Oh, is this it? This is the table. It seems the settings can be changed to various modes like Bed Type, Relax, or Normal Mode. Also, the footrest part can be adjusted and extended, and so on. And the rest of the adjustments here can be done manually. This is the remote control for the TV. This is the headphone, but where do I plug it in? And next to me, there are lights and a menu card like this. This is probably different from Economy Class. The menu card. Champagne, too. This is for the meal. The flight time is 5 hours and 30 minutes. When you eat food… …in Japanese. If you eat the Thai set, it’s the Thai set. Drinks. What is available? Alcohol and such. Alcohol and such. Champagne. Does champagne go well with Thai food? Amazing. It seems there are this many options. I was looking at this often. Mimosa and Gin and Tonic. Single Malt Whisky, liqueur, and cognac. What kind of beer do they have? A rollercoaster type, unexpectedly. So this is what it’s like. So, it arrived. The champagne I ordered has arrived. Various à la carte items came too. Let’s eat. Found it. It looks like this. I suppose. Business Class is truly the best. This is my first time flying it, and I’m so impressed. Please forgive me for acting a little bit like a child. The first course has arrived. This is… …the Lobster and Spicy Herbed Salad. This is the most exciting part. Time to eat! Let’s eat. Delicious. So, the next dish has arrived. This is, um… First, this is probably the curry sauce. I’m not sure, so I’ll check the menu. Oh, vegetables. Steamed vegetables. This is, um, Thai Jasmine Rice and Thai Style Roasted Pork. And this is… …for you to add the sauce to your liking. Let’s eat! Mm. It tastes like authentic Thai food. Delicious. It’s quite spicy. It is spicy. This is probably the easiest one to eat. The flavor is… …just right. When I asked for tea, I got these snacks. Cheese, nuts, and what is this? I don’t know. I don’t know this either. And for some reason, Yamazaki’s biscuit, Levain. And Japanese water. From Toyama Prefecture. So, I’ve arrived in Bangkok, Thailand. I’m surprised that we arrived 50 minutes early, so it was a really fast flight. Although I couldn’t fully enjoy the Business Class because of that, I’m glad we arrived early. Now, I’m going to proceed with immigration right away. Since it’s been a year since I’ve been here, I’m excited. I’m just happy to be able to come to Thailand. At the end of the video, if there was footage playing, I would have introduced it, but now the required documents for entry have increased. It wasn’t necessary before, but the paper form is gone, and it has been digitized now. They have been explaining that throughout the flight. TDAC stands for Thailand Digital Arrival Card. This is what is required now. You can apply for this starting 3 days before entry, so let’s make sure to do it. You can do it at the airport, but it’s a hassle, so I recommend doing it beforehand. It only takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Listening to the explanation earlier, if you scan your passport, you can skip a lot of the input. I manually entered everything, so it took me longer. Before departing Japan… …for domestic connection. I’m going to exit the airport once. Here I go. Since it looks like I’ll be walking quite a bit, let me briefly summarize my first Business Class experience. The seat is incredibly spacious. It’s much wider than Economy, so it’s very comfortable. I tried the full-flat mode, but I’m 180cm tall… …that’s how it felt. If you are 175cm or 176cm, you’d be fine. That surprised me a bit. Everything was comfortable. The blanket was different from Economy, there were slippers, and the Jim Thompson amenity pouch was included, so it was excellent. I chose the Thai meal, but it was a bit spicy. If you don’t like spicy food, I recommend choosing the Japanese or Western meal. That one will be easier to eat. The Thai food is authentic, so it is on the spicier side. If you are sensitive to spice, definitely choose another option. I had two drinks: champagne and gin and tonic, but I couldn’t drink a lot of alcohol during the flight. There were quite a few people in Business Class, so service took a while. I’m sure they would bring it if you asked, but I think it’s better to just enjoy it moderately. I ended up drinking two drinks when I intended to have only one. That was my brief explanation of Business Class. I rarely get the chance to fly it, so it was very new and I enjoyed it immensely. I played around like a kid. So, I successfully cleared immigration and retrieved my luggage. It took quite a while for the luggage to come out. Even though they put this tag on it for Business Class, it was slow. This time, I’ve shared the Thai Airways Business Class flight from Tokyo to Bangkok. As I just explained, it was truly fulfilling and a lot of fun. While flying Business Class isn’t a common opportunity, sometimes cheap tickets pop up, or if you’re collecting miles, you can now fly Business Class even just for a one-way trip.
