📍岩尾神社 Iwao Shrine in Nara Prefecture

今回は奈良県山添村の小さな集落にある『岩尾神社（いわおじんじゃ）』に行ってきました。
名張川が近くを流れるここは多くの巨石や奇岩が続く地域で、古代から巨石信仰の聖域としても崇められてきました。
歴史ある境内は美しく苔むしていて本殿の後ろにはいくつもの巨石が続いていてまるで異世界のような雰囲気でした。
On this trip, I visited Iwao Shrine, located in the small village of Yamazoe in Nara Prefecture.
Located close to the Nabari River, this area is home to many megaliths and strangely shaped rocks, and has been revered as a sacred place of megalith worship since ancient times.
The historic grounds are beautifully covered in moss, and behind the main hall there are several megaliths, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.
