Close to Tokyo, the nearby prefecture of Kanagawa boasts many lovely towns perfect for a day trip away from the city, but have you heard of this hidden gem? Yugawara Onsen is a charming town off the beaten path for most travelers, so Shizuka went to explore and seek out the tasty food offered in the town.

While exploring Yugawara Onsen, Shizuka tries a wide selection of local cuisine. She enjoys gooey bowl of grated mountain yam, crisp and fluffy eel, and a flight of local beer. Shizuka even gets a very special dessert delivered via river!

    Really nice episode! I always liked the idea of eating from a box the Kabayaki and shirayaki unagi bowll looks delicious and the red box is pretty and big!!! Trying the beers I also would like that specially if they have a fruity flavor and if they are refreshing! Yes why choose when you can try all of them!😋😋😜😜
