【静岡観光】絶品グルメの連続!富士宮のグルメと観光を巡るドライブ旅行が最高すぎた!静岡旅行vlog

I found a hidden spot where you can get a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji without anyone around, so I set off from Tokyo Station. First , I took the Kodama Shinkansen from Tokyo to Mishima. By the way, it takes about 50 minutes to get to Mishima on the Kodama Shinkansen, and about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to Shizuoka. If you’re thinking of going somewhere from the Tokyo area for a two-day or one-night trip, I highly recommend Shizuoka Prefecture. 帰りました。 English: I arrived at Fuji Station for the first time in my life . After much deliberation , I decided to head there by rental car from Fuji Station . I arrived safely at Fuji Station and found a car share near the south exit. From there, I started my drive in the rental car. With Times Car Share , it comes with these things . Car share is great because it comes with these things, like wiping the steering wheel here and also a garbage bag. My first destination today is the furthest point first thing in the morning, and I ‘ll go sightseeing while returning to the station. I’m currently in Fuji City, but the main focus is Fujinomiya City. I’ll go to the northernmost area of Fujinomiya City , and then head south and come back to Fuji Station. My first destination is 36km, about an hour ‘s drive . I ‘ve visited the Izu Peninsula and Hamamatsu , but recently I’ve been to the Shizuoka area, Fuji, Fujinomiya, and other areas, but on the other hand, I’ve never been to these areas at all, so this time I’m skipping Atami and Izu , but I’m not going to Shizuoka , but Fuji , which is in between , and I’ve never been there, so I’m going on a drive along this vertical line. This time I’m in an Aqua, so I’m not used to it. The Aqua is surprisingly long. It’s still just after 8am, so I’m on my way to work. There are a lot of pedestrians on their way to school, so it’s a bit scary. I usually go on road trips in rural areas where there are hardly any people walking around, and when I think about it, remote islands are really the best (it’s safe to rent a car). There are a lot of bicycles too, it’s scary. There was an old man riding his bicycle with a rolled up tissue stuck up his nose. Is there an accident? Accident. Maybe it’s near the station and it’s a single lane so I thought it might be really congested, but is this an accident? Wow , I made a mistake and had to turn around – I might not be able to get through for a while. Depending on the direction you go, the tunnel might be so rough that it becomes like alternating one-way traffic. Oh, can I go? Go , go … What happened? What on earth are they doing ? At first I thought it was an accident, but for an accident, my car was being searched really hard. There were lots of police officers coming and going. That ‘s Fuji Station. Come to think of it, this is my first time here, and it’s quite thriving. It feels like a city . First of all, in front of the station there’s a huge pedestrian bridge, what should I call it? It’s like the sidewalks and cars are separated. If it’s like this, it’s a city . I wonder if I’m on the right route. There’s a factory in the background. It’s amazing. I wonder if there’s a night view of this factory. It’s not written on the navigation system, I don’t know the name, but it’s probably a famous factory. Amazing . I wonder what the design of this factory is. It feels quite emotional. It’s an unfamiliar sight . The navigation system was talking a lot but I wasn’t listening at all. Amazing ! I’m currently in Fuji so of course I can see it. As long as there aren’t any buildings blocking the view, I can see Mt. Fuji from anywhere. It’s an amazing place. I think a lot of people who work remotely will move to Shizuoka. If you only have to go to the office once or twice a month, it’s great. Even if it’s only an hour commute, I think a lot of people will move to Shizuoka or this area. This area might really be a hidden gem. Anyway , I found a huge 7-Eleven so I’ll get some coffee there. I’ll enjoy my drive while sipping my coffee . The view is amazing . Mt. Fuji is huge! Wait, it’s huge! Today’s first destination is where Mt. Fuji should look even closer. It ‘s already huge. I recommend you see it with your own eyes. You’ll be amazed when you see it with your own eyes. The scale is completely different. It ‘s like CG. I was really impressed when I saw Sakurajima on my first trip to Kagoshima , but something’s different . Mt. Fuji is too big and scary . It’s not particularly scary, but it ‘s hard to describe. It’s so big that it doesn’t seem real. Is it okay to go straight? The navigation system isn’t telling me anything. Suddenly, I came across a sign for the Shin-Tomei Nishi Fuji Road. I thought it was in Roman letters but it’s in English. It says NISHIFUJI ROAD, but the kanji is pronounced doro (road) and the English is pronounced roudou (road). My brain goes haywire when I read it. It’s amazing. No matter where I am, Mt. Fuji is always there. Is this the exit? Does this mean there ‘s a traffic jam at the exit ? Hiromi Hiromi Obuchi . Wow, is n’t this amazing ? It’s so crowded. I hate commuting on crowded trains, but I also hate traffic jams. Which do you prefer? It’s 28km to my destination . According to the navigation system, I should get off at Koizumi IC, 2.7km away, and take the local roads from there. I’ll drive about 25km on the local roads and arrive at my first destination today. I wonder if I’ll just keep on following National Route 139 all the way to Asagiri Kogen. My first destination today is Asagiri Kogen . It’s the Asagiri Plateau, a roadside station or roadside station called Asagiri Plateau. I haven’t looked up how high the altitude is at Asagiri Plateau, but it looks cold. The season for short sleeves has suddenly ended, so I don’t have any clothes. Also, when you’re working from home, you’re basically always working from home, so you never leave the house. Except when you’re traveling, you lose track of the seasons because there’s air conditioning, so you can wear short sleeves all year round. I think it was February. I went to Hamamatsu in the winter and it was really cold, but I enjoyed the food and sightseeing. Shizuoka City also had some interesting tourist spots and looked like a good place, but I was traveling alone, so it didn’t seem like a city, or rather, it seemed pretty crowded. Shizuoka City seemed like it would be really congested, so I avoided it and went to Fujinomiya, but it’s pretty thriving. Considering the amount of traffic, I think Izu would be better. For solo travelers (who don’t like driving or crowds), the Izu Peninsula is really great, so I recommend it .帰りました。 English: There was no traffic jam and I was driving, the scenery was basically beautiful, it was a drive along the coast all the way, the scenery of both the sea and the mountains was beautiful, I really recommend it , after a few kilometers the traffic stopped, I wonder if it’s a zone of major chains, the fish is delicious, I’ll eat sushi at fish , I wonder if I’ll have time to eat sushi, today Sushi Ro Coco’s, Nissan, Toyota are amazing, they have everything , there’s a Subaru, there’s a hotel, and Hananoyu is here too, I originally thought I’d go, but today I’m on a solo day trip , and I thought I’d like to go to the sauna at the end of the trip, and I thought this area might be nice, but I wonder if I’ll have time, with this traffic jam I’ll be pushed back and head towards Asagiri Kogen , and then when I come back , I wonder how the traffic will be when I get back to Fuji Station , I think I’ll be coming back around 5-6pm , so I wonder what will happen with the traffic jam , I wonder if I’ll have time to eat, it looks like I’m already in Fujinomiya City, I’ve already passed Fujinomiya Station, it was a little further south for now I feel like eating Fujinomiya Yakisoba this afternoon. Yamaokaya is super crowded. Why is Yamaokaya so crowded? There were so many cars parked there, just customers eating ramen. It’s before 9am. I wonder if there are people who just finished their night shift and are going to bed now. Restaurants where you can eat ramen and go to bed don’t open until 11pm, so I guess there is a demand for them. Also, Yamaokaya’s ramen is delicious when you’re tired. There’s everything along Route 139. I could survive just by driving here. For some reason, the color of Nitori is different. It’s not the Nitori color I know. That bright emerald green Nitori, but a green , dark green, like Cainz Home. It’s green. Wow , there’s Cainz Home. Really, that Nitori sign from earlier. This Cainz Home was a dark green, and I’ve come a long way. I’ve gone a few more kilometers and now I’m 15km away from my destination. The traffic has thinned out considerably, making for a comfortable ride. The right lane is the driving lane, so I guess I should stay on the right. There aren’t any particularly steep slopes so it doesn’t feel like I’m climbing, but my ears are starting to tingle. If it feels like this, it probably won’t be too crowded. Amazing . In the background, there are mountains and clouds. It ‘s cloudy today, but the forecast is for sunny skies in the afternoon. I can see blue skies in the distance . That’s great. Actually, I took a quick day trip to Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture yesterday, and it was really tough with all the rain and wind , so I’m excited just because it’s not raining today. It’s also great to see blue skies for the first time in a while . I ‘m glad I bought coffee at 7-Eleven earlier. There are no convenience stores around here, so I’m getting sleepy. There are only 12km left, but still. 帰りました。 English : Maybe it’s still along Route 139? The road station is straight like this all the way, so I’m getting quite sleepy. I get sleepy when I’m not talking by myself for a long time. I thought for sure I’d be able to see Mt. Fuji all the way in front of me , but it was on the right. Wow , it ‘s opening up so much . It ‘s Makaino Ranch . Wow, Mt. Fuji from here is also really nice. When I think of going to see Mt. Fuji, I have a strong image of Lake Kawaguchi, but Lake Kawaguchi is now so crowded with foreigners and group tours that it’s hard to even take commemorative photos. So, it’s probably easier to take a leisurely tour of places that are a little difficult to access, or that you need a car to get there (there are fewer people on weekdays) . There’s something here too. What is this? It’s a company. I thought it was some kind of tourist facility, but it turned out to be a corporation . There’s also a hotel here, the New Fuji Hotel, a restaurant, and a gas station. Surprisingly, there are no mountain roads at all. Is it always like this? What is this? Of course not? There’s a climb to Asagiri Kogen Mochiya Ramen. Hey, I’m getting hungry after eating ramen . Oh, there’s a convenience store here. There’s a 7-Eleven in a place like this . Amazing! There’s a convenience store in a place like this too. Mochiya Campground. There was a 7-Eleven near Asagiri Kogen Mochiya Campground. Jamboree Golf Club . Is this a golf course? Today’s destination is still a long way off. From here. : There are still 5km to go. I wonder if there’s a roadside station open. I want to have something to eat as a snack . But I feel like it was a pretty big roadside station so there must be something there . Ah, we’re at 800m altitude now. It doesn’t feel like we’re climbing much but that’s why my ears are tingling. There’s a Family Mart too so I guess I won’t have any trouble even if I don’t buy anything in particular . Oh , it’s opening up, amazing. And as we go further, it’s amazing. Right in front of us in the distance, it’s like a sea of clouds, clouds and mountains. It’s so amazing, this area is amazing. The scenery has changed all at once. My nose is stuffy with allergies this time of year so my ears and nose are all messed up. Maybe it’s because the air isn’t passing properly, it’s scary. Is this a farm? Asagiri Maple Farm . There’s also a sign warning of animals. This is Mt. Fuji, or rather Fujinomiya. Are there bears around here ? The sign was for deer, but do deer come out? Then we can see the roadside station. We’re all going to the roadside station . The parking lot… The parking lot is so big, I wonder what’s going on? Is the right side okay? The left is wrong. There are also lots of signs saying the Fuji Education and Training Center 帰りました。 English: If you turn right, there’s a roadside station, a buffet restaurant, an auto camping site, a drone airfield and lots of other things . It’s kind of like a service area on the highway, and it ‘s spacious. I ‘ve arrived at Asagiri Plateau for the first time in my life. Asagiri Plateau Roadside Station. It’s cold . It’s really windy. It’s really windy here . It’s completely different from Fuji Station, probably because of the high altitude, but it’s winter here. Almost winter. The Mt. Fuji observation deck . From here, I’ll have to climb even higher and walk . For now, it’s cold, so I think I’ll go inside the roadside station for now . There was also Fujinomiya Yakisoba, a local specialty. They say it opens from 8:30 in the morning, but there was no one there, so I gave up. The building is spacious and looks like this . There’s a souvenir shop and a restaurant . The souvenir shop sells not only sweets and goods, but also bento boxes and light meals. Inside the roadside station, there’s a small rest area with chairs lined up, and the view of Mt. Fuji through the window from there is amazing . Next, I went to the restaurant. I thought it would open from 11am, but it seems to open from 9am. I went inside right away. By the way, this is Asagiri Mill that I bought at the souvenir shop. 食べましたか、おいしいもの!」 English: Coffee. I also bought a yogurt drink because it looked delicious. I’ll enjoy that later. Then my order arrived. It was the Asagiri salmon fry set meal. Asagiri salmon is a rainbow trout fish from Fujinomiya. It doesn’t have a strong smell and tastes good. The price, which I’m curious about, was 1,500 yen. Wow, this salmon fry was incredibly delicious. The flavor of the shiso leaves inside was good, but the texture was also good and it didn’t have the typical smell of salmon fry , so it was really delicious. And with the tartar sauce, it was twice as delicious . I enjoyed the most delicious gourmet food from the morning. Thank you. So, the salmon fry , Asagiri salmon, and Asagiri salmon set meal were delicious. It was a set meal at a roadside station , so I thought the salmon would be fried , but it didn’t have a strong smell at all and was actually really delicious. Then I arrived at the Mt. Fuji observation deck. It was cold. There were group tours, group tour buses, and regular cars parked in the parking lot, but there was no one here. It was so windy and cold that there was no one there. It was amazing. It was really amazing. The wind was so strong. Wow, it was so cold , so I stopped in the car.帰りました。 English : I’m back. I’ve come all the way to Asagiri Plateau , and it’s so cold I feel like the world is ending (even though I was wearing short sleeves last week). It’s so cold I’m drinking it in the car with the heater on. Asagiri Milk coffee milk. Well , I don’t think I’ll get banned for saying anything , but I guess I’ll just have a yogurt drink. Oh, it’s smooth. It’s more like a drink, but it ‘s delicious and easy to eat. It ‘s delicious. I’ll drink it again later. It’s delicious. From here I ‘ll head back towards Fujinomiya Station and do some sightseeing. So I’ve left Asagiri Plateau Roadside Station. Wow, it was so cold , it was surprisingly cold. What should I do ? On the way back, I thought about stopping by a farm, but I bought some yogurt drink and I’m also interested in the soft serve ice cream, but it’s so cold. Should I go there? Lake Tanuki, Lake Tanuki, is that right? It’s about 5km away. When I go back, there’s a lake and I think there’s an observation deck there, so I should stop by Family Mart . Oh, I see. The campsite is nearby, so I ‘ve never seen a Family Mart sell firewood before. Interesting I don’t know the going rate for firewood, but it’s around 700 yen. I wonder if there’s anything here too. I completely ignored it . I missed the timing to go in and just walked right past it, but I was full from eating salmon fries. When you’re full, you don’t want to look inside. I miss that time when it was hot even in short sleeves. I forget it every year, how cold the winter is . りとりをお楽しみください。 English: It’s beautiful . The greenery is lovely. It’s so peaceful and there aren’t many people. I’m a little scared of bears, but I wonder if they are actually there. I think I saw a sign on Google Maps that said “Beware of bears .” Asagiri Plateau . Oh, this is a clinic. There’s also a pharmacy and such. It has a wooden design, but at first glance I can’t tell. This is prefectural road, prefectural road 414. I’ll keep going, 414 , and my destination is 3km away. A sign has appeared . To the right is Lake Tanuki . Ah, the atmosphere has changed. It says “Watch out for falling rocks.” This area is a mountain road . I’m going down a winding road with a river flowing through it. It ‘s so beautiful , the scenery is amazing, the scenery has changed suddenly. There are lots of signs. North bungalow site, south tent site. Is it okay to go straight? But there are so many cars parked here. This is already a campsite . Fishing. Everyone is fishing. Wow , is this a fishing spot? Amazing, this is my first time here . I think there was a raccoon photo spot named after Lake Tanuki . I wonder if this is the observation deck. Amazing. Everyone is fishing . Ah
, there are tents and other things on the other side, so there are people camping. I ‘m sure everyone is fishing. 帰りました。 English : This is the first time I’ve seen so many people fishing. I wonder if this is the parking lot. Next we arrived at Lake Tanuki. It’s about 10km back south from the roadside station we just left. There was no one at the observation deck of the roadside station we just left, but Lake Tanuki was super crowded. Most of the tourists were foreigners. Lake Tanuki is located on the west side of Mt. Fuji. Wow , no matter how many times I look at it, it really looks like CG. Especially compared to people like this, the background looks like a composite image . Lake Tanuki isn’t that cold, it’s amazing, these clouds . Mt. Fuji is so high that the clouds feel really low . There are clouds here, and this is a mountain after all. The size feels all wrong, it’s strange no matter how many times I look at it . Lake Tanuki, it’s great. Thank you, Lake Tanuki . And the sun is rising. It’s almost 11:30. It’s finally hot . The sun was so hot. Lake Tanuki is so sparkling. If you’re driving in Fujinomiya, you can really enjoy the ranch from Asagiri Plateau and Lake Tanuki. It seems to be very large. : There ‘s a ranch and the river view here is really nice, but there’s no space to drive on the road. It’s not impossible, but it’s difficult to take pictures because there are no sidewalks. It’s a first-class river, Shiba River. There’s an auto campground here and to the right of here. I found a shop. Milk Bath Inn . They have a milk bath? It’s pretty crowded. Soba . I came from the prefectural road so I passed the ranch. My next destination is a waterfall. It ‘s quite a famous tourist spot so it might be crowded. I wonder if I can park my car. We’ll be there soon. We go around this rotary and it’s the waterfall, right? It’s really open. Which way should I enter ? Shiraito Falls. This parking lot is 500 yen. There are various parking lots , 500 yen and 200 yen. If it’s 200 yen, I guess I can enter here too. Amazing. The one further back is 180 yen! Lol. The price competition is incredible. And it’s like you’re forced to go this way and that way. I was forced to go this way and that way before I even turned on my blinker. Lol . Amazing. Well, if that one is 500 yen and the one right next to it is 200 yen, I guess I’ll park somewhere cheap. So we arrived . No wait, a school trip? I might have overlapped with a school trip. Oh no! School trip? It overlapped with my trip. It seems like we won’t be able to enjoy the view at our own pace. I asked the security guard and he said that the route to Shiraito Falls is after Otodome Falls, but since we were going to overlap with the school trip students, we headed to Shiraito Falls first . I’m a pretty fast walker, but a group of elementary school students on a school trip came running and caught up with me in no time. It’s a famous tourist spot, so the road is mostly paved and wide, but there are stairs, so I think it’s best to wear comfortable clothing. Along the way, there’s a mysterious promenade like this. I’m young, so I was confident I could walk pretty fast, but I couldn’t compete with them if they ran . Going all the way to the back, there were more stairs leading down . It seems that Shiraito Falls is 180 meters away. Incidentally, there is an observation deck just before the stairs, and you can see the waterfall like this. The stairs had more steps than I expected. Whether you look at it up close or from a distance, each has its own unique beauty. We arrived at the Otodome Falls observation deck. What a reflection! Wow, amazing! This is the bridge. Let’s cross the bridge . Oh, there’s something here too. A small waterfall. Wow, amazing ! It sways so beautifully . I tried crossing this wonderful bridge . Looking back, the atmosphere is like this. The view here was also really good. Wow, the sun has risen quite a bit and it’s hot. I’m curious about the Fujinomiya Yakisoba here. Wow, Mount Fuji is really close . After a while, it looks even better . Next time, I found a restaurant near Fujinomiya Station that has good reviews, so I’m going to eat Fujinomiya Yakisoba there. I wonder what’s different from regular yakisoba for the first time in my life , but it was the fish I found on the way there that morning, and I’m also curious about that conveyor belt sushi. I wonder if I should get some takeout . It’s also possible to eat it on the Shinkansen on the way back, or in the car. This area is thriving. Is Fujinomiya Station a little further away ? This restaurant is close to the station. Just 1km left and you’ll be there. This area seems like a fairly easy place to live. There’s pretty much everything . Turn left on Miyamachi Nishi, this is Prefectural Route 414. Is this the shopping street ? If you turn left, there’s a shrine. A huge shrine . Turn left. This place is also amazing. It’s like a shopping street, isn’t it? Asama Taisha Shrine. Oh, it’s amazing. Go straight . This restaurant is Fujinomiya Yakisoba, what was it called? Something 店の焼きそばです。 English: I had read reviews saying it was delicious, and that there were five free spaces for customers who use the restaurant, so if I used them there would be no parking fee, so I asked the staff for a recommendation and ordered number 6, the loin. I started with the meat right away . I don’t usually eat pork, but this loin was really tasty, it changed my concept of pork. Next was the yakisoba. At first glance it looks ordinary, but the noodles are absolutely delicious, and I think it’s perfect for people who like a firm texture or something chewy. It was delicious all the way to the end, so delicious that I would have liked to have a second helping . The Fujinomiya yakisoba was delicious, I might prefer it a little more than regular yakisoba. It’s not crispy, but if you like ramen or noodles with a firm texture, you’ll be hooked. This is a yakisoba that is a little on the firm side, and the noodles were good , and the meat was delicious too. After the loin, is Omiya Yokocho visible to the right of here ? I was so full that I forgot about it. Oh no, I completely forgot about Omiya Yokocho? There is a shrine on the left . Basically, if you come to Fujinomiya, this is the place to be . You might want to visit Sengen Taisha Shrine and eat some yakisoba. This area is straight and thriving, with cafes and restaurants scattered here and there . If you like walking or are sightseeing without a car , it might be fun to take the train to Fujinomiya Station and wander around here. It ‘s really , really straight . My next destination is a view spot about 8km from here. The presence of Mt. Fuji is amazing, it ‘s mysterious in its own way, but the clouds are getting thicker than before. There is now a second parking lot here. My next destination is Obuchi Sasaba. Please turn left here and follow the arrow. I’m entering. It’s narrow , so is there an oncoming car? Is this a one-way street? Is it not a one-way street ? Is there an oncoming car? There is a mirror, so that means there is an oncoming car, right? I’ve arrived. This is the parking lot. The way back is also one-way (relief). It’s really crowded , so I’ve arrived. What kind of view will I see? Are you waiting? I don’t need a jacket anymore. If you walk straight, you’ll come to a view spot. It’s been a while since I last saw my shadow. Amazing ! I wanted to see Hokusai too. Obuchi Sasaba is amazing , it’s wonderful. If you take a photo with an iPhone, like this, you can take a photo with 3-4x zoom from a little distance and get a shot that looks like you’re seeing it with your naked eye without Mount Fuji in the background looking small . This is a close-up shot with an iPhone at 1x zoom, but it looks far away. By the way, Obuchi Sasaba is in Fuji City, not Fujinomiya City. The altitude is 338m. It was hidden by clouds. There were few clouds around noon, which was nice, but a lot of clouds formed in an instant . It’s amazing how quickly clouds form. It’s hidden even more than before . So I’ve been all around, and I think I’ll go for sushi at one more place. I’m planning to go to one restaurant and two tourist spots, but I’ll take a break to refresh myself . Nearby , 6.6km from here, there’s a hot spring with a sauna . It might not be a hot spring, but it’s a natural water spa and sauna called Takanoyu . I feel like I’ve come to Fuji City from Fujinomiya now. Fujinomiya and Fuji together make Fuji Fuji Sightseeing. The road to the parking lot is narrow, but it seems to be a one-way street, so there’s no need to worry about oncoming cars as long as they’re not going the wrong way. There were a lot of clouds gathering, around 1 o’clock, maybe. It was probably the most beautiful around 11 o’clock. I mean, clouds gathering, or maybe clouds forming? Or maybe clouds are forming? There wasn’t much there until just now, but suddenly it became cloudy. But
I saw a video of the moment when clouds form, and it really was just a matter of minutes, or rather seconds, and the clouds were increasing in number, so I think that’s probably cloud formation as well . I don’t understand how clouds form at all, but after traveling so much, I’m starting to think that I should study the weather, or the sky . It would be quite powerful if we could predict the weather by looking at the sky without using rain cloud radar . People in the past used that to decide whether to climb a mountain or not , and also to decide whether to go fishing at sea or not . This is on the left. Please be careful on your way home. One day will pass by a little too quickly, so if you have the time, it might be a good idea to do a two-day, one-night trip to see both Mt. Fuji and Fujinomiya. Shizuoka City, and the surrounding area are also of interest. Shizuoka is amazing , there’s Atami , isn’t there? Atami and Izu are like that too, aren’t they ? Shimoda and Nishiizu, those areas also have completely different atmospheres. It’s not an all-purpose tourist destination . It’s close to Tokyo and Nagoya, so I wonder which way more people come from? Are there more people who come to play from the west or the east ? I’m thinking of coming to Shizuoka every now and again for a two-day, one-night trip . The best thing about being able to get there from Tokyo is that it suddenly appears in a residential area like this . I’m really looking forward to the sauna. It even says “sauna” on the sign. Mt. Fuji Natural Water Spa Sauna Takanoyu. It’s so crowded at 3pm on a weekday ? It was so crowded I almost believed half of the cars were employees’ cars. So I’m looking forward to refreshing myself. The sauna was great ! There were four saunas . ら見てくださいね! English: There were four saunas in total , and I went in a regular far -infrared sauna, so I thought it wasn’t that hot , and it was a bit lukewarm, but the cold bath was ice cold. It was a bit chilly this morning, so I kept it to a minimum. Come to think of it, it said that the scorching hot sauna felt like 120 degrees, and then it was steamy. The steam was like a steam bath , and the sauna was so hot it felt like sitting on top of a boiling pot, and I got burned within about two seconds of stepping in . For a moment, I thought, “It’s hot, but I can go,” but then I burned my hands and fingertips, so I left immediately. As expected, there was no one in there. It was close to a loyly, but it was a bit unusually hot, and the sun was setting quite a bit. It’s only 4:30, but it’s already the end of October, so it goes by quickly. The sun set again, so I went back to Fujinomiya City and went to a sushi restaurant. After enjoying the sauna and hot springs, I started to get hungry, so I called to make a reservation for takeout just now before leaving the parking lot. It’s about a 20-minute drive from where I just left . The sushi restaurant said they do takeout in about 15 minutes, so I headed there. If you call in advance for takeout, you can pick it up just when you arrive at the restaurant, so there’s no waiting time and you can eat right away, which is great. At first I thought about renting a car from Fujinomiya Station, but the train travel time was a bit tricky. At first I was thinking of renting a car from Mishima, but if I rent a car from Mishima , it takes quite a long time to get from Mishima to Fuji . If there’s traffic, it would take about 40-50 minutes, so I’m not familiar with the area and it was quite far away, so I decided to rent a car from Fuji this time. And lastly, I wanted to see the ocean view, so I actually had one more tourist spot to go to, but it was a bit dangerous in terms of time, so I gave up . Wow, Mt. Fuji is seriously amazing. Mt. Fuji lit up by the setting sun at this time is also quite beautiful . What is this bento ? It’s looking more and more delicious, I think it was a fish restaurant. What is this? There’s a truck and they even do delivery services. Yay, it’s sushi, so I go and get the sushi. I get the sushi . It’s pretty big, this is one portion. I think it was 2,300 yen. For now I’ll take this and head to the sea. It will take quite a while to get to the sea as we pass Fuji Station. We’ll be past sunset but it looks like we’ll still be able to see it just in time. The sunset is on the west side of the mountain so I wanted to see what it would look like when I got to the seaside and headed towards the sea at the end of my trip. There ‘s fish restaurant here too, wouldn’t this fish restaurant be fine? Kokoichi, Starbucks and Shiro. All kinds of chain restaurants are gathered here. Is this a conveyor belt sushi restaurant? This is amazing! The sun has set and it’s getting quite dark. Oh, this is the Asahi Kasei factory (research laboratory?). It ‘s huge , I wonder what they’re researching. If you go a little further, there’s a seaside park -like park along the sea. Over here, the Shirasu Shokudo here serves Shirasu rice bowls. It’s only open until 2pm, but it looked delicious too. We went out to the fishing port, there are lots of boats lined up. Wow , it’s not cold at all. Apparently the gate closes at 5pm. Everyone is walking up the street, it’s like an amazing observation deck. I wonder what you can see from here. Where is the correct place to climb ? Are vehicles just prohibited, or is it okay to walk in? There are people on the observation deck. No,
it’s not there , but the sun has already set, isn’t it? There’s a boat here. It’s a really nice view, I was right to come here. It was almost dark, so before eating sushi, let’s first look at this view and then eat sushi. This boat comes in here, it’s really nice, the location is good for a walk alone, or for a date with your partner. This is the observation deck. It ‘s getting dark, it’s getting dark. When I went up to the observation deck, there was something that said, so I wonder if it’s a boat. That’s the Diana. I think it ‘s one of those in Shimoda too. I found a great spot. A boat, an observation deck over here , the sea over here, and the city night view over here . It would have been great if we had come a little earlier . For now, let’s eat sushi. I wanted to see Mt. Fuji, but it’s completely hidden. The view from here is amazing . So, let’s have some sushi . It’s pretty luxurious. I wonder what to eat first. The horse mackerel
looks delicious. It’s really nice, the sushi toppings are amazing. Damn , I confused soy sauce with sweet sauce. I might have poured sweet sauce on everything. What a mistake. It’s thicker than Kyushu sashimi soy sauce, I thought it was amazing, but it’s sweet sauce! But it looks delicious! There’s not that much on it, it’s bad
I wonder if there are any wet towels My wet towel summoned Should I start with the tuna? Looks delicious Even though it’s takeout, it’s so delicious The tuna is so good , so delicious Maybe next I’ll have the horse mackerel The horse mackerel is big too Looks delicious, so good The sushi here is delicious It ‘s better than I expected What a great day Eating takeout like this might be good if you’re on a road trip If you’re not on a tight schedule it’s better to just eat at a restaurant But it ‘s so good Everything’s delicious So far Everything’s delicious In the end, sushi is the best I think I’ve had it in Hamamatsu too and it feels really good Fujinomiya feels better Can you finish the conger eel in one bite? I couldn’t do it . Freshly made sushi at a restaurant is delicious, but this takeaway sushi is also delicious when the rice is a little cold. It’s also delicious when it has been sitting for a while and has blended together. The angle is crazy . It looks like we’re going to a haunted spot now. It’s turned into a haunted spot broadcast, but I’m just eating normal sushi. The last two pieces, the last
ones, were delicious. It was the end of the best trip. Wow, it was dark . While I was eating sushi, it got dark in an instant. The night view was so beautiful, but you can’t see it without the naked eye. It was so beautiful. There was some kind of monument here. There were quite a few cars coming in. I wonder what it was there . Are people there to see the night view ? It’s a night driving spot. It has the kind of atmosphere that young people gather, but there were also people walking their dogs. And the roadside station. Arrived at Fuji The shops were closed so it might just be a parking lot I arrived But it wasn’t open after all The souvenir shop closed at 5pm And the station where the Shinkansen stops I’m not taking the train home from here but I came to Shin-Fuji The souvenir shop here is open so I need to buy a souvenir for my partner The first 30 minutes are free If I don’t leave in about 10 minutes I’ll miss the train home Apparently the souvenir shop is open until 7pm so I’ll make a quick trip to check it out Afterwards I bought some sweets to eat on the Shinkansen back Wow it was pretty good So I returned the rental car safely and arrived at Fuji Station On the way back I’ll take the train back to Mishima and from Mishima I’ll take the Shinkansen back to Tokyo Now, where should I travel next?
