標高1200m、磐梯朝日国立公園内にあるこちらのお宿、創業はなんと明治元年（1868年）という老舗の温泉旅館。

館内はレトロなヨーロッパ風の雰囲気、フロント前でモモンガのモモちゃんを見られればラッキーだよ♪

客室は全て和室で61室。目の前に広がるあだたらやまの景色は山の中の秘湯を実感できる。

目玉はたくさんの種類の大浴場。鬼面の湯、天狗の湯、千寿の湯はそれぞれ男女入れ替え、男女別の剣の湯、扇の湯、女性専用の羽衣の湯。いずれも源泉100％掛け流しの乳白色のお湯で、館内で贅沢に湯めぐりを楽しめる。

食事は地元福島の食材中心にとても豪華。みちのく地ビールを飲んで、郷土料理や鶏肉のお鍋、国産牛の焼き物をいただいて大満足。

朝食も夕食と同様にとても豪華。小鉢や熱々のお豆腐など、朝食らしいお料理をいただいて、朝からパワー全開♪
