I’m at Itoen Hotel Toi! This hotel is part of the well-known Itoen Hotels chain! This chain is amazing, offering a night’s stay with all-inclusive accommodations for just 78 million yen! The hotel is located in Toi Onsen in Nishiizu, a bit far away… but with such a low price, it’s a must-visit! The entrance plaza is unnecessarily spacious (but not unnecessarily!) with three check-in tables, so you can check in as many times as you like! There are also loungey sofas with a Showa-era feel (lol). There’s also a Showa-era chandelier and IKEBANA here! Ladies… is that… a shell? 🐚 Sumikkogurashi has a yukata corner with a choice of large, medium, small, and other sizes. Why? I always order XL separately, so this is convenient! And there’s the usual tourist information corner, with a microwave in the plaza… unusual, isn’t it? (lol) The world-famous Hoshizaki is also enshrined in the plaza, but Yomii isn’t there… (cry) While I was admiring the piano, I was able to check in within seconds. I walked down the 7th floor corridor to Room 707, full of Showa-era vibes, stabbing the keys into the door… and there it was!? A Japanese-style room with 12 tatami mats (overlooking Suruga Bay ) ! All rooms in this hotel have an ocean view! And since the ocean faces west, the setting sun is intense! (lol) What’s with the ocean view in the setting sun? It’s almost a horizon view! In the setting sun, there are lazy chairs on the veranda, and an unbelievably sized refrigerator. It’s the perfect size for a single person, the freezer is empty, and of course, even though the refrigerator is empty, it still has temperature control♪ Isn’t it the best?! The single futon has a strong presence♪ In the middle is a solitary square low table, a common sight in hot springs, fully stocked with snacks♪ Where is the minibar corner that everyone loves…? Gurigura and the barley tea pot that I used at home…? The TV is placed there, and it’s quite huge… The Ito telephone has an ancient feel♪☎The teshu is made of white plastic and there’s also an electronic mosquito coil, thank goodness… The electric kettle is enshrined in the alcove of the upper seat (lol) And of course the safe is also in the upper seat, how… impressive…huh?
