Hello, this is Ron with Rising Sun Properties. Today we are headed out to Nagono, the Nakano Nagono to view a home for a client who’s interested in buying out here. A lot of people do contact us. Uh it’s a popular area for those looking for a retreat for the mountains, particularly skiing. You know, it’s a great area for skiing. So, this is one of the homes we did look at. This is at the end of the road, just a short walk from the home. So, it’s a great view. It’s a bit far from the station, about two kilometers, so not very accessible. There is a bus that runs there, but the bus is I think I looked there’s like almost 30 stops from the closest station to this home. So, it’s a place you would definitely need to park in. As you can see in front, the parking is a little bit small. So, if you got a smaller car, I think you could fit it in there. But here is the home in this small little Colder Sack neighborhood. 22,150K. Wooden home built 1997, 2LDK, 65 m. Hey guys, just a quick um disclaimer, I guess, if you will. Um, we have helped several people in the Nagono, you know, there’s a lot of people looking in Myoko Nagono area for second homes, you know, ski homes. Um, it is a bit hard for us to get to just because of the location. We’re here in Nagoya. So, it takes me in some cases about a 4hour drive one way. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of good public transportation to get there. So, it’s a little bit hard area for us to service. However, if you’re interested, um, please still reach out and, you know, we’ll be happy to see what we can do and see if it makes sense for both of us. So, uh, here’s a quick view of downtown Nagagoya from our office. Thank you guys so much for watching. Yeah. So, I just wanted to say that because I always want to be completely transparent, upfront. Don’t want to lead anybody astray in any way. If you worked with me, uh, you know that. So, u, just keep that in mind. Like I said, still happy to assist. Reach out if you are interested. We’ll see if it does make sense for both of us. Here is the bathroom. There’s a lot of stuff in it. This is a very interesting washer or dryer. I’ve never seen this before. Um, I got the story from the local uh real estate agent. I guess you know, mom was getting older and uh you know, dad had passed away, so their son was a little bit worried, had her move in with them uh in Nagono, and so this home is vacant and they’re just wanting to sell it. So, anything that’s in the home, we could try to negotiate to get that out. you’ve heard in all my videos. It’s just case by case and we do all of that work for you. And again, I’m going to make another video just to kind of reiterate this. Please don’t reach out to the sellers yourself. Contact us directly. I know a lot of people want to do things on their own, but it just causes a lot of problems down the line and we can navigate all that stuff for you. So, that’s part of our services. Please keep that in mind. It is much easier if we’re the ones who are contacting the local agents. Here’s the first room. uh to the left there. There was a bit of a creek in the uh corner of that, but uh I think overall this home’s pretty solid. Didn’t see any kind of water damage or anything like that. It is a newer build, per se. And a bit smaller, but for the home quality build, you know, I think it the price is justified. You can see there’s lots of stuff in here. Uh basically just moved out and left everything there. It’s much easier if they’ll just agree to take everything. When we start itemizing stuff like, “Oh, I want to keep the table or I want to keep this chair.” That gets really complicated for the contract. So, it’s much easier to either one, just leave everything in there or two, get everything taken out and uh start a new couple angles from the kitchen and the living room. See, this is a small living room area. There is a deck out there. We’ll get out there at the end of the video. That deck was pretty weak and would probably need to be replaced. Here’s one of the rooms, the tatami room. It’s got the aircon installed. The agent said that that would be taken out, so it’s a newer aircon. They probably want to keep it and use it. And you know, the tatami looked fine. I don’t think that needs to be replaced. Again, no signs of water damage uh or any structural cracking outside. That was major. So, I think overall this is a very solid home and don’t need to to worry much about it. We always uh you know say that you should move forward with an inspection which we will help to manage and take care of for you just to you know make sure there’s no issues whatsoever and you can move in with peace of mind. So, as you can see, it’s a bit of a smaller home. And here is the outside. Has some carport covering and the yard that’s getting a little overgrown, but you see plastic down just to try to maintain that. Couple things out in the yard. Has a bit of space out here. Couple things hiding in the bushes. And there is a shed there. We couldn’t get in the shed, but uh that would also come with a property for extra storage. See, there’s neighbors around. It looked like everyone was living in the home, so it’s not an abandoned neighborhood. That’s always a good sign. Back behind the house and where we started with that nice view. This deck felt okay, but as you can see, that’s kind of caving in right there. It felt a little soft and weird. So, probably would need to replace that at some point. So, that is a property in Nagono Nagono. Um, despite the drive being, you know, four hours one way to get to this place, it is a beautiful drive. It reminds me of my Portland, Oregon days. Um, was a bit rainy on the way back, but made it nonetheless. And thank you guys always for watching. Um, please like and subscribe. We always have more videos coming. Here’s another home in the Nakano, Nagano area. It’s an area a lot of buyers are looking at who are interested in a holiday ski home.
This home isn’t spectacular of “Japanese” I’d say, but it’s a solid, new home that should have no issues for many years to come. It seems structurally sound and didn’t see any issues with my inspections.
As I stated in the video, we do have a lot of requests for this area and have/will assist buyers here. It’s a bit far from Nagoya since there is no easy public transport to get here. So I usually drive which can be a 3-4 hour trip one way. That being said, please reach out if you’re interested in this area.
