2025秋の京都に古民家風ホテルがOPEN!【はなれby東急スティ】デジタル茶室も楽しいホテル Hanare by Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo

Hello everyone. This is Tabizo Channel. I’m currently near Karasuma-Oike Station in Kyoto City. Today, I ‘d like to introduce the hotel Hanare by Tokyu Stay, which will open on September 29, 2025. This hotel is part of the Tokyu Stay Group, which operates hotels nationwide. It will open as a detached building of the nearby Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo, and as a new concept hotel . The “hanare” character on the noren curtain is interesting, with the center separated. Let’s dive right in . Upon entering, there was an information desk directly in front of me, with a staff member standing there providing directions. Turning to the left, I saw a sign that read “Lounge Hanare.” That ‘s right. This lobby area is a lounge space reserved for guests. They offer complimentary sake and other drinks, which I’ll explain in more detail later . This tatami space is also very Kyoto-esque and lovely. Each seat has a power outlet, so you can relax with a glass of sake. Check-in is also done in this lounge . First, we were treated to a traditional Kyoto-style Japanese tea. This is a very nice service. First, I decided to take a leisurely break before heading to my room. There’s a front desk to the right of the entrance, where the staff were very accommodating. There ‘s an amenity bar in the lobby. I picked up everything except my toothbrush there and headed to my room. Touching my room key, I entered a guest-only area. This hotel is quite small, with only 42 rooms, so it’s a cozy space. Let me introduce the room. The key says “Hanare” (Separate Building). I’ll touch it to enter. Yes. It’s interesting. There’s a bed right there. There are two beds in the middle of the room. It’s a slightly unusual room with a sink . There are two beds, and the artwork on the bedside table is very innovative . It looks like ceramic, but it’s soft to the touch. It feels like it’s made of some new fabric. It’s shiny. And there’s a USB port. There’s also a C-type port. There’s a large wall-mounted TV and an air conditioner in a wooden box. And here’s a veranda-like seating area. There’s a table , and the area at the top back is probably a closet. It’s very interesting. It’s a design I’ve never seen anywhere else. There are slippers there, so perhaps it’s meant to be a space to sit and relax. And this window, unfortunately, is frosted when you open it. Well, it can’t be helped, since it’s in the heart of Kyoto, in an old-fashioned neighborhood. I guess it’s a consideration for the residents. And here, there’s a notepad and other things placed here. There’s also a safe. And this stand, which I think has various functions. Here, there’s water, a kettle, and an ice bucket. And this is a refrigerator, I think. It’s clearly divided into two sections , a freezer and a refrigerator . I think you can get ice cream or something. There’s a microwave below, and cutlery on top. It has a bit of a service apartment feel. There’s nothing special below. And there’s a sink. There’s a bamboo whisk on the shelf, so it looks like you could try making matcha green tea. So, there’s a wooden box here that says “Welcome.” When you open it, there’s an explanation about matcha, and it feels like you can enjoy a drink here. There are also some snacks, which is really interesting. And when you open it, there are all kinds of things underneath. It’s like an Inoda Coffee drip coffee or tea hospitality box. It’s nice. And here is the bathroom. There’s a large washing machine. It says Aqua. And there’s a step here, which is a bit concerning, but it’s a spacious space. Here is the sink. It’s well-made. There are glasses and hand soap. It looks like this. And the bathroom has a glass door. It’s tiled from this side. It’s luxuriously made. It’s a spacious bathtub. And there’s a washing area and a rain shower. And here is the Refa. Wow! They’re using a Refa hand shower head . It’s luxuriously made. And these amenities are Refa. There’s body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It’s rare. This shampoo. As you exit, there’s a door on the left. I think this is the restroom. I ‘ll open it. Yes, it’s the restroom. The restroom is also quite spacious. It’s a very spacious space. It has an interesting design that’s unlike any other hotel. I think it’s spacious enough. That concludes our room. Next, we return to the lounge annex on the first floor. I’d like to introduce the services here. In the lounge annex, you can enjoy coffee and soft drinks as much as you like from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. And here we see the snack corner, lined with Kyoto-style sweets. This Kyoto-style server with a cedar ball offers mandarin orange juice, Kyotanba Nami wine, and three types of sake from the Kyoto brewery, Kinshi Masamune. You can enjoy these freely from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There are also a wide variety of sake cups available to enjoy with sake. There are many cute designs , so it’s fun to choose your favorite one. Why not try picking one up and choosing your favorite one to enjoy with your sake? There was also an ice maker, soda dispenser, and plenty of syrups, as well as coffee and tea. Sitting on the veranda and gazing out the window, it was a lovely lounge with a Kyoto-esque atmosphere. Finally, I’d like to introduce the hotel’s new entertainment digital tea room. This experience requires a reservation, but upon entering the tea room, a set was set up for the experience. You learn about the history and culture of Japanese tea ceremony while watching a video on the screen, and then you can watch a tea ceremony master carefully demonstrate how to make tea. Of course, it’s all video, but the view is beautiful, so it was very educational. There was also practice time while watching the video. I actually shook my hands up and down to make matcha, and learned the proper etiquette. I thought it was quite amazing and would recommend it to everyone. Finally, I enjoyed a delicious cup of tea while watching a video of the scenery. This experience is free for guests, and I highly recommend it. (Advance reservations required.) Breakfast was served at Kyoto Kotokoto, located on the first floor of the Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo Karasuma, a short walk away . It cost 2,750 yen. Well, today we introduced Hanare by Tokyu Stay, which will open on September 29, 2025! What did you all think? It was a wonderful hotel, quietly nestled in a back alley. Even the standard rooms were spacious and the bathtubs were comfortable and spacious, which was great. We also enjoyed drinking sake in the lounge and experiencing matcha in the digital tea room, making it a very enjoyable hotel. It would have been great if there was a large public bath here, but I feel it’s a bit of a shame. What did you all think? This time, I was able to stay in a twin room in October for 25,000 yen, but depending on the day, the price can go up to around 70,000 yen. Why not try staying at a hotel while considering the price ? Well, thank you for watching the video today. If you found this video useful, please click the like button and subscribe to the channel. Until next time. Farewell. Bye-bye.
