[ Trip vlog ]忙しない日常を忘れて楽しむ1泊2日秋の鎌倉大人旅🥯🪿🧺| 鎌倉観光とお気に入りのカフェ&ベーカリー | お土産と購入品紹介etc..
This time, my destination was Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. After a light breakfast, I set off from Tokyo to Kamakura. Packing some snacks, I felt like I was on an excursion. The only thing I was a bit worried about was the weather… I also brought along the Hato Sable keychain I bought on my last trip to Kamakura. I missed many places on my last solo trip due to poor health, so this trip I wanted to make up for those missed opportunities. With a light plan, I felt like I’d arrive in Kamakura in no time. It’s been about three months since my last visit to Kamakura. It seems my sister hasn’t been to Kamakura in several years. I left my luggage and headed straight for Komachi-dori. The forecast was cloudy with rain, but the sun began to shine. My recent travel companion, Yamepi, joined me. We took a new route and headed to our destination. First, I went to Beniya’s new store. I was surprised to see a long line already. Most people seemed to be looking for Kurumicco offcuts. After waiting for a while, I finally made it inside the store. Inside, I found the Kurumicco collaboration Rollbahn, which I thought was already sold out. The online store sold out immediately, so I was happy to find it. It looks like we’ll be able to get our hands on some Kurumikko, which also sells out quickly. My sister and I both got what we wanted. We returned to Komachi-dori. Since we still had a little time before our lunch reservation, we bought some Daibutsu-sama-yaki. I chose the custard flavor. It was so cute. It was small, so we were able to eat it quickly. For lunch, we went to this nearby shop. There were people lining up before it even opened. We went to OXYMORON, a shop selling curry, sweets, and miscellaneous goods. My sister made a reservation the day before, so we were seated right away. We already knew what we wanted. I always order my favorite ethnic minced meat curry. I chose the extra spicy option. The combination of spicy minced pork with cilantro, shiso leaves, green onions, and mitsuba is irresistible. I also love the homemade pickles, with their yuzu flavor. They were so delicious I was sad to finish them. After enjoying the walnut snacks they provided, it was a very satisfying lunch. After filling up, I strolled down Komachi-dori Street. I went to a capsule toy shop I’d been to before. Youbcan look at the contents of the capsule and choose your favorite. I found a Moomin stuffed animal mascot. While the popular characters were sold out, there were plenty left, and I grew attached to this one, so I bought a matching one for my sister and me. It was so cute. I went to a shop selling Mino ware dishes and mugs, all for 600 yen. Just like on my last trip to Kamakura, I bought one. I went to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine to pray for a safe journey. I discovered local sake. I climbed the long staircase and headed for the main shrine. I prayed there. Afterwards, I drew a fortune, which was good luck. I headed to my next destination: Romi-Unie Confiture, a jam and sweets shop. They no longer have a store in Tokyo, so I visit here every time I’m in Kamakura. I bought the seasonal chestnut jam I’d been wanting. The shopping bag was cute, too. As I walked in the comfortable temperature, my next destination came into view. I headed to LONG TRACK FOODS, which I hadn’t been able to visit last time. It’s a deli in the marketplace, but it also carries cute miscellaneous goods. I found some cute postcards. I bought a pretzel postcard. I also bought some delicious-looking baked goods . It was cloudy, but I was relieved that it didn’t look like it was going to rain. I went to Toshimaya Main Store to look at Hato Sable goods. The Hato Sable goods, exclusive to the main store, were so cute. I had my eye on a new pouch. It was bigger than I expected, so I decided not to buy it. Tired from walking, it was time for a cafe break. Every cafe was full, so I decided to go to a cafe I visited on my last trip to Kamakura. Luckily, a seat was available at the perfect time. After all that walking, I decided to take a short break. The seasonal menu looked delicious, but I decided on the lemon cheese pie. I was glad they had decaf milk coffee. The balance of lemon tartness and cream was perfect. Embarrassingly, I didn’t know the name of this Moomin character, Lipdass, so I named him Dassu. After that, I headed back to Komachi-dori Street. I discovered a local Chiikawa keychain, one of my collections. Surprisingly, I didn’t have one yet, so I bought the Kamakura version. It was so cute! I went to a tableware and kitchen goods store that also has a branch in Ebisu. They had a wide variety of tableware, from colorful to everyday-looking. Having enjoyed myself, it was time to head back to the hotel. I even got a commemorative Kamakura stamp at the station. My hotel for the night was in Fujisawa, a short distance from Kamakura. I took the train to Fujisawa. It was hard to find a good hotel during the holidays, but this one was located underground at the station and reasonably priced, so it was perfect. There was also a work space, which was nice. I felt like I’d be able to relax. The octopus sticks I got to go on Komachi-dori Street were delicious. After a short rest at the hotel, I decided to take a stroll around the station. I’ll be taking this mascot with me. When I showed my sister the bookmark I bought the other day, she said she wanted one too, so we went to Daiso, even though we were on vacation. I bought some more too. I almost forgot we were in Kamakura, and ended up buying some clothes too. For dinner, we went to Gusto, located below the hotel. I had a sudden craving for this cheese-filled hamburger. It’s so typical of us to choose Gusto, even though we were in Kamakura. I finally had the cheese-filled hamburger. It’s probably been a few years since I last had it. It was amazing. Back at the hotel, I opened my Chegosim bookmark. It’s so cute. I already had one, so my sister and I traded it. Since we have another day to go, it’s about time to go to bed. Our second day in Kamakura started off relaxed. We traveled from Fujisawa to Kamakura. Today, we’ll enjoy Kamakura with this mascot again. We went to Iwata Coffee, a must-visit when you’re in Kamakura. We decided to start our second day in Kamakura with Iwata Coffee. There were so many delicious-looking menu items that it was hard to choose. After much deliberation, we decided on the fruit sandwich and the mixed sandwich. We each shared a sandwich. This is something you can’t do on a solo trip. It was a good choice, as we could enjoy both sweet and savory flavors. It seemed to be raining while we were eating breakfast, but by the time we went outside, it had stopped. As we walked, we spotted a chopstick rest. I had recently bought some chopstick rests, and had planned to just look around today, but my eye caught a cute one I didn’t have, and I ended up buying one. Next, we headed to a place that’s an essential part of my Kamakura trip. After about a 20-minute walk, we found the muffin shop we were looking for. We were so happy to have bought our favorite muffins. Feeling happy, we headed back the way we came. It’s a bakery along the approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The cat logo is so cute. I should have bought this bagel after all. Purchased. Next, we took the Enoshima Electric Railway to Hase. After a swaying ride, we arrived in Hase . The sun was starting to shine. I hadn’t been able to go to Hase on my last solo trip, so this time I definitely wanted to go. I walked down the path to my bagel shop. I was relieved to see that they still had bagels. They even had the pork bagel I was looking for. I bought a few. Since I was there, I decided to stop by the beach. I sat by the water and relaxed for a bit. Since I was there, I took a photo with the pork bagel. It was a luxurious time to just stare blankly at the ocean and enjoy doing absolutely nothing. After relaxing by the sea, I headed to my favorite cafe. It was a traditional Japanese cafe where you can spend a relaxing time. Luckily, there was a seat available, and I was shown right away. Everything on the menu was appealing. I chose the salted butter vanilla buckwheat galette. The freshly baked galette and the cold ice cream were a perfect match. The occasional hint of saltiness added a delicious accent. I was glad I was able to visit my favorite cafe. After leaving the cafe, we went to Hasedera Temple, which was nearby. This was my sister’s first time at Hasedera Temple. We bought an admission ticket and decided to take a stroll around Hasedera. Not only during hydrangea season, but flowers bloom throughout the temple grounds throughout the ceremony, so it’s nice to enjoy different scenery each time I visit. The charming Jizo statues of good relationships are a joy to photograph. Jizo statues of good relationships with Yamepi. The view of the ocean and sky from the observation deck was beautiful. I also drew my fortune here. My fortune was “Daikichi” (Great Fortune). I was so happy to see such good news. The view of the bamboo forest from behind the sutra repository was also beautiful. Just looking at the Nagomi Jizo statues makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I’m glad my sister also seemed to like Hasedera Temple. Having thoroughly enjoyed Kamakura, it’s time to head back to Tokyo. This trip to Kamakura was packed with items on my and my sister’s wish list. It was a relaxing two days, where we forgot about our busy schedules and spent time surrounded by our favorite things. On our way home, my sister and I talked about wanting to travel somewhere else. For dinner tonight, we had a Kiyoken shumai bento box that we bought in Kamakura. We’ll be using the chopstick rests we bought in Kamakura soon. I always have trouble deciding where to start with the shumai bento from Kiyoken. Our two-day, one-night trip to Kamakura was a delight from start to finish. Finally, as a bonus, I’d like to share some of the items I bought in Kamakura. This time, the table was cute and made me happy. First up, the baked goods and postcards I bought at DAILY by LONG TRACK FOODS. My favorite was this pretzel postcard. Pretzel motifs are my thing, so it was love at first sight. Next up, the muffins from Okashi Nikaido, my favorite of all the muffins I’ve ever eaten. It’s located a little ways from Kamakura Station, but it’s a favorite place I visit almost every time. This time, I chose three flavors: salted caramel, chestnut, and pumpkin. I love the salted caramel so much that I always buy it, unless it’s sold out. This time, I selected the chestnut and pumpkin, which are perfect for autumn. Next, I chose bagels from Namimachi Bagel. I chose the pork bagel and the limited-edition fig, walnut, and cream cheese bagel. For those who watch my Kamakura vlog, the pork bagels are a regular staple. I was glad I was able to buy them this time. Next up was a rum raisin and walnut pound cake from KIBIYA Bakery. Since I had already bought a lot of baked goods and bread, I chose a pound cake that would last a long time. Next up was some Mino ware from a store where everything was 600 yen. I fell in love with it at first sight because the design seemed easy to coordinate with the other dishes in my house. Next up was a pair of chopstick rests, which I bought as a memento of my travels. This time, I chose a ginkgo and fried egg chopstick rest. Next up was a Moomin stuffed animal mascot from a gachapon machine store. I grew attached to all the characters left, so I bought matching ones for my sister and I. I enjoyed my trip to Kamakura with this mascot. Next up was some Italian chestnut jam from Romi-Unie, a jam and baked goods store. There were four different types of chestnut jam, so I had a hard time deciding which one to get. After much deliberation, I chose this jam, which is said to go well with mascarpo. Next up are my BENIYA purchases. First up is the classic Kurumicco. The one I was most happy about was this Kurumicco collaboration Rollbahn. It seems to have sold out immediately online, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to buy it this time either, but luckily it still had some left in store. There were three different types of collaboration Rollbahn, but I chose the Kurumicco design. I’m happy to have another one of my favorite Rollbahns. Lastly, I bought a local Chiikawa keychain, which I’ve been secretly collecting. I surprisingly didn’t have one yet, so I bought a Great Buddha keychain. That’s all for the purchases on this trip to Kamakura. This is the end of this Kamakura vlog. Thank you for watching until the end.
