長崎市と大村市のポケふたを巡る鉄道旅(長崎県のポケふた巡り#1)
I’m here at JR Nagasaki Station. This time, I’ll be visiting the Poké Lids in Nagasaki City, Ōmura City, and Sasebo City! In Nagasaki Prefecture, Ampharos has been chosen as the local Pokémon. It was selected because the light on Ampharos’s tail resembles a lighthouse— —and Nagasaki is famous for having many lighthouses, making it a perfect match. That’s why all the Poké Lids in Nagasaki feature Ampharos. The first Poké Lid can be reached on foot from Nagasaki Station. First, exit through the west gate (Inasa Exit) of Nagasaki Station. The first Poké Lid is located just before the NBC Nagasaki Broadcasting building. I can see the Poké Lid ahead! We’ve arrived at the manhole featuring Ampharos, Togepi, and Wingull! This spot is also a PokéStop in Pokémon GO. A video explaining the Poké Lid was also being shown on the large screen at NBC Nagasaki Broadcasting. Now, I’ll head back to Nagasaki Station to go to the next Poké Lid. To reach the Poké Lids in Ōmura and Sasebo, I’ll take the train. For visiting those Poké Lids, the unlimited-ride “Burari Ōmura Line Ticket” is very convenient. From Nagasaki Station, I’ll board the Rapid Seaside Liner. This YC1 series train is a hybrid model. It runs using a motor powered by electricity generated from a diesel engine and during braking. The name “YC” comes from the Japanese words yasashikute (gentle) and chikara mochi (strong). Departing from Nagasaki Station. Another YC1 series train is parked on the siding. You can see Nagasaki Stadium City, home to V-Varen Nagasaki’s stadium. Currently running between Urakami Station and Utsutsugawa Station. Nagasaki Municipal Rugby and Soccer Stadium. Nagasaki Prefectural Baseball Stadium (Big N Stadium). Branching from the old Nagasaki Main Line. Now running between Ichibu Station and Kikitsu Station. Kikitsu River. Arriving at Kikitsu Station. Here, we rejoin the old section of the Nagasaki Main Line we branched from earlier. Running between Nishi-Isahaya Station and Isahaya Station. Crossing the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen. Merging with the Shimabara Railway Line. Arriving at Isahaya Station. There’s a 20-minute wait at Isahaya Station. Departing from Isahaya Station. From here, we switch from the Nagasaki Main Line to the Ōmura Line. Branching off from the Nagasaki Main Line. Branching off from the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen. The river flowing in front is the Honmyō River. Crossing the Kyushu Expressway. After passing Iwamatsu Station, Ōmura Bay comes into view on the opposite side. Running between Ōmura Station and Shin-Ōmura Station. Rejoining the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen. Passing Suwa Station. Arriving at Shin-Ōmura Station. Getting off the train at Shin-Ōmura Station. You can see the Shinkansen gates straight ahead. Just as I was about to exit the station… I found a photo panel featuring Ampharos! When I stepped out of the East Exit (Sakura Exit), I heard some voices. I decided to follow the direction of the sound… It turned out to be an audio guide narrated by Neru Nagahama, who is from Nagasaki. Since Ōmura City is famous for cherry blossoms, there were benches decorated with cherry motifs. Ōmura City’s Poké Lid is located in Shin-Ōmura Station Park, right in front of the station. I can see the Poké Lid ahead! We’ve arrived at the manhole featuring Ampharos and Cherrim! Perhaps Cherrim was chosen because it’s a Pokémon associated with cherry blossoms? This spot is also a PokéStop in Pokémon GO. In the next video, I’ll visit the Poké Lid in Sasebo City. Thanks for watching!
