Hello, this is Tabibubu. Today, I’m heading to Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. I’m planning to stay at a hot spring inn with a luxurious dinner and breakfast and an all-you-can-drink alcohol lounge.♨️ Please enjoy until the very end.😊 Tonight’s accommodation is “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium” Yoshinoya Irokuen Front Desk Lobby Free lockers available Business & Vending Machine Corner Yukata Corner Souvenir Corner Premium Lounge with Free Drink Service Let’s see what’s available! 😳 This is the plum wine corner. Beer, highball, lemon sour Wine Soft drinks are also available I’ll have some oolong tea ✨ There’s a terrace in the lobby, so let’s take a look! There’s a sofa where you can stretch out your legs and relax. The expanse of greenery before your eyes is so relaxing…(*´▽`*) Checking the hotel map, we head to our room! Today’s room is on the 5th floor. This is room 521. Open! There’s a small space inside. It looks like you can put your luggage there.👍🏻 Let’s take a look at the room.✨ It’s a spacious Japanese-style room. “Standard” One night stay in a Japanese-style room with an open-air bath for two, including dinner and breakfast (¥31,860) The futons are already laid out. By the way, the bedding is apparently “Airweave.” Two futons are laid out like this. The one on top looks like “Airweave.” It was very fluffy and extremely comfortable. Security box, telephone TV There were haori (Japanese traditional coats), obi (sashes), and towels in the closet. It’s nice to have a remote control for the lights. 😚 The greenery outside the window makes it a relaxing spot. There’s also a balcony. Electricity Kettle, cups The refrigerator was empty. There was a spacious changing room, Beyond that was an open-air bath.ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ Actually, I booked this open-air bath thinking it was a hot spring, but I missed the sign and realized it wasn’t a hot spring after I arrived.💦 But it’s nice to be able to enjoy the bath while listening to the sound of the Kakusenkei River flowing below.👍🏻 I’m looking forward to taking a bath in this one too! Next, let’s take a look at the facilities inside the hotel (･ω･｡)ﾉ On the way to the large public bath, I spotted a massage machine on the left. I’ll try it later ( ˘ω˘ ) There’s also a post-bath lounge just before the large public bath. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are also available. 🍺 The selection appears to be the same as in the lobby lounge. There were also popsicles next to it. And then there’s the large public bath. The large public bath was very spacious, and even with so many people, I was able to enjoy it comfortably. The water was thick and refreshing. ♨️ The foot massage after the bath was also incredibly relaxing. 🫠 I’ll definitely try this massager… Now that I’m feeling better, I’ll have a beer. A little Kaga plum wine… I took the drink and popsicle back to my room and enjoyed them slowly.♪ A draft beer after a bath is the best.🍺 Let’s take a look at the facilities we haven’t seen yet. We’re going to check out the private tent sauna “TOTONOI.” Advance reservations are required at the front desk to use the sauna. Guests can use the sauna for free, but apparently swimsuits are required (there is a fee). (Available for rental) It doesn’t seem to be used, but it looks spacious and nice. 😳 There’s also a premium lounge on the 7th floor. There’s also alcohol, soft drinks, and a manga corner. Now it’s time for dinner! The venue is spacious, and the tables are partitioned off, which is great! ✨ By the way, all-you-can-drink alcohol is available for an additional fee. Let’s take a look at the buffet. Seasonal specials: “Sakura Inari Sushi” and “Firefly Squid and Wakame Seaweed with Vinegared Miso.” This is also a seasonal menu item. My favorite sweet shrimp was also available. The meat was incredibly flavorful, and the “Kaga vegetable sauce” was rich and delicious. Bamboo shoot and shrimp tempura Freshly fried, it was incredibly crispy, and the shrimp was plump and incredibly delicious. Bamboo shoot and beef stew The meat was firm and made me crave rice. Crab pressed sushi As you’d expect from the Hokuriku region, the crab was delicious. 🦀 The sashimi and sushi were all fresh and delicious. It’s time to check the contents of the steamed dish. It turned out delicious! 😋 Let’s start with the shrimp. They were so big and plump, a real treat for shrimp lovers… 🦐 Next, the turban shells. The turban shells were also really big. The tender, bitter flavor is addictive 🐚 Shrimp Salt Ramen The shrimp flavor is strong 🦐 Next, we’ll steam the pork belly. Steamed dishes are healthy, aren’t they? 👍🏻 Dumplings are better than flowers The mochi was chewy and the mitarashi sauce was delicious. Apple pie This is a dessert you’ll often find at Oedo Onsen Monogatari. The cinnamon flavor was strong, and I liked it. I continued to try the desserts. Cherry Blossom Crema Cotta It had a texture similar to panna cotta, and the cherry blossoms were chocolate. Kaga Hojicha Pudding The aroma of roasted green tea is fragrant and delicious. Gokuraku Steamed Pudding It’s so creamy, the custard really stands out! This was the best dessert of all! ✨ Häagen-Dazs “Strawberry” Very milky and elegant flavor Just as you’d expect from Häagen-Dazs! 😀 Delicious Thank you very much. After I was full, I took a short walk. I returned to my room and soaked in the open-air bath. Even if it’s not a hot spring, it’s nice to take a bath while looking up at the starry sky.⭐️ Well, good night. ˘ω˘ ) Good morning It’s beautiful weather again today. Now, let’s head to the breakfast area! The venue is the same as dinner. Now, let’s head to the buffet! Let’s start with the Nokkedon corner! Oedo Onsen Monogatari’s breakfast menu is this bowl of rice topped with rice. Tuna and scallops Mekabu (seaweed), squid somen noodles, grated yam, mentaiko (spicy cod roe), and negitoro (stir-fried green onions) Grated daikon radish, crab stick flakes, okra, kimchi, minced meat, and nametake mushrooms Tai dashi chazuke corner In the live kitchen, they serve “French toast” “Nokkedon” is being baked. Various breads They also had soft serve ice cream for breakfast 🍦 It’s presented like this. Seafood Nokkedon Soba noodles French toast The tuna in the “Nokkedon” is so big and fresh! The seafood selection is extensive, making for a luxurious breakfast. The soba noodles have a mild, slightly light broth. The minced meat cutlet is very crispy, and the meat is juicy and delicious. The croissant has a rich buttery flavor and a lovely flaky texture. The shumai is also delicious, with a rich gravy. And the French toast. It was so fluffy and creamy, I had to order it again. I tried pouring curry over the soba noodles I had earlier. Personally, I preferred this flavor to regular soba. Thank you for the meal. After dinner, I decided to take a walk around the area… The townscape is so beautiful. I walked around and noticed some kind of event going on in the park. I wonder what it was…😮 The Yamanaka Lacquerware Festival was being held during my stay. Since I was there, I decided to take a look. It was interesting to see the variety of lacquerware on sale.😳 There were a lot of reasonably priced items, so I ended up buying a few things.😀 That was a great purchase! ✨ It’s time to head back to the hotel. It’s time to check out. Checkout complete.
