【能登半島】震災から１年半。今行ける能登を夫婦で巡る一日。

Good morning. We are a newlywed couple who are unemployed and are traveling around Japan on our honeymoon , eating lots of delicious food all over the country. Today, we are in the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. As you all know, the Noto Peninsula was hit by a big earthquake in 2024, but the Ishikawa Prefecture tourism website also says that visiting Noto’s tourist spots will help speed up recovery, so we would like to make a video this time that introduces many of the tourist spots in Noto that you can visit today and makes you want to come. The first place we visited was the Wajima Morning Market in Noto. Do you know what the Wajima Morning Market is ? It is one of the three biggest morning markets in Japan. We have also been to the other three biggest morning market in Chiba, Katsuura Morning Market, so this is the second one. The original location of the Wajima Morning Market was damaged and is now unavailable, so they are renting out part of a commercial facility called Y Plaza and running a traveling Wajima Morning Market, which I am looking forward to going to today. So let’s go to the morning market. Sorry , I ‘ve been waiting for you . Sorry for the delay . So, we have arrived at the traveling Wajima Morning Market in Y Plaza. It ‘s really inside a home improvement store , isn’t it? It feels like it’s set up in an aisle inside a building with a home improvement store and a supermarket. So let’s go around right away. Let’s go for Ho-ba rice? Ho-ba rice is delicious! Is that so? We go to the mountains to pick them. It’s a local dish from Noto, so thank you. After that, we bought a lot of things… Wow, isn’t this amazing ? I found a cute rice scoop . Can I buy my rice scoop soon? ・・・ English: I’m using 100 yen store products, so I’m saying things like “aggressive flavor” and “genius”, but isn’t Gorilla really good? Genius, cute , how about this one? That ‘s good, you can add text to it , make a heart with Shun and Shun , and carve a heart with Hiyori and Hiyori . That’s craftsmanship… amazing! Yes, it’s done! There were many crafts and other stalls other than food, we couldn’t buy any more in our daily lives, there was so much pottery and so many things I wanted, and I really wanted to buy food, like dried fish, but my house doesn’t have a refrigerator so it wouldn’t last until the night, but I bought quite a lot, I bought about 2000 yen worth of stuff so it ‘s fun, everyone is nice , It was really fun talking to me . We bought some food so we decided to eat it in the car afterwards, so we went to the morning market in Wajima. We bought a lot of things, so let’s eat. Where should we start? Let’s start with the first side dish. We bought some side dishes at Fukutani. It’s homemade Neapolitan and it’s only 300 yen cheaper. It has an egg on it and lots of sausages. Let’s open it up. It looks delicious. Look. This is Neapolitan. It’s definitely delicious. It’s definitely delicious. Let’s eat. What do you think? It’s delicious . It has a traditional feel. Everyone loves it. Let’s eat. It’s delicious! You can’t go wrong with it . It ‘s the best. What’s more , this restaurant has Japanese-style pasta, fried rice, omelet rice and more, so it really tastes like home cooking and is the best. It’s traditional, it’s the best . Hey, hurry up , give it to me. Hey, I think it’s supposed to be one bite at a time. Our rule is that it’s fine to eat one bite at a time at times like this, but when you get here you have to eat it right away, so it’s so fast. I’m eating two bites! Next up is Wajima’s local dish, Houha rice. I also bought this from the same shop as the Neapolitan earlier. Here we go. Amazing ! Houha rice. The leaves are called Houha leaves, and the rice is stuffed into it . What’s going on? Let’s go. Open. Amazing . Amazing . What? I wonder if you can figure out what’s going on. Amazing. For some reason, it seems to have kinako rice in it. It’s kneaded with kinako, and it has a lot of kinako in it . It’s green, it’s a little different from the kinako we know. Apparently you eat it with chopsticks. Let’s eat. It’s a local dish. I’m so happy that I can easily eat local dish for 300 yen. Let’s eat! This is so good! The smell of the leaves is amazing, isn’t it ? I tried Hiyori and it was delicious . The sweetness of the kinako and the rice have a little salt on them, so it’s a little salty, and the kinako isn’t too sweet. The moment you put it in, you can smell the leaves. After that comes the savory taste of soybean flour and then a salty taste at the end, it reminds me of a cherry blossom mochi. The scent of the leaves is good, I love this. It has a nice salty taste, and the saltiness at the end is really tasty. It was absolutely delicious. Is it okay to be this satisfied from just one store? I’ve still got some more so please continue. This sandwich I bought from New Furukawa looks so delicious, the burnt bread is terrible, it looks really tasty, let’s eat, isn’t the bread amazing? It’s not just a regular side sandwich with bread in between, it’s toasted and a little salty, it’s spread with butter, it has a sweet buttery taste, and the omelet inside is properly toasted too, it’s got ham, cucumber and mayonnaise, it’s browned and really tasty, it was delicious, but I also bought these clams and had them engraved with my name so I bought a new one, it ‘s the best, I love clams and I use them as emergency food in my home, I have a sweets box here so I put them in there and bought them as a reason to munch on them when I get hungry while driving, it was emergency food but I ate it all up so it’s better than the Wajima Morning Market, it was really good, they sell not only food but also crafts like this, so everyone should definitely try Wajima Please come to the Wajima Morning Market. Next, we will go to a spectacular spot in Noto. Well, we are off. It’s windy. Why ? So, we have come to Shiroyone Senmaida, a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site . The spectacular view of Noto spreads out here, so let ‘s go see it. I’ve always wanted to come here. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the Wajima Morning Market. The sea on the way here was so beautiful. The day before yesterday, it was 32 degrees. We were in Fukui and it was so hot that it was difficult, but today it’s only about 15 degrees, so the temperature difference is strange . So, this is it. It’s insane. Shiroyone Senmaida is also a nationally designated area. 能登半島といえば2024年の震災のイメージが強いと思うんだけど
今回は能登の魅力が伝わればいいなと、明るい動画を作らせていただきました☺️

まだ地面が割れているところがあったり、家が震災の時のままであったり、まだ震災の爪痕が残っているのが現状。

ただ、動画でも言ったとおり、観光に行くことが早期復興に繋がる。
