長野温泉旅❄️ 雪降る秘湯と野生の猿たちの癒しの世界|渋温泉|金具屋|地獄谷野猿公苑

Hello everyone! I’m Naru! Today we’re at Shibu Onsen in Nagano Prefecture! Nagano Prefecture is divided into four areas:
Hokushin, Toshin, Chushin, and Nanshin These are the four regions! Zenkoji Temple, a thousand-year-old temple in Hokushin Karuizawa, the summer resort in Toshin Kamikochi, the mountain resort in Chushin Takato, famous for cherry blossoms in Nanshin In each area There are major tourist attractions representing Nagano In the Hokushin area we’re visiting today There’s the National Treasure Zenkoji Temple, Togakushi Shrine And famous hot springs like Nozawa Onsen There are many historic tourist spots I’m heading to Shibu Onsen One of the Yudanaka-Shibu Onsen areas in Yamanouchi Town! This hot spring town has abundant hot spring sources All ryokans and public baths are 100% natural flowing hot springs It’s a luxurious hot spring resort The nine public bathhouses that have existed since ancient times Are a hot spring culture long cherished by locals Near Shibu Onsen There’s the “Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park” You can observe wild Japanese macaques Bathing in hot springs up close at Jigokudani Monkey Park Known worldwide as “Snow Monkeys” It’s a special place that attracts visitors from around the world About access Hokuriku Shinkansen: About 1 hour 30 minutes Limited Express Shinano: About 2 hours 50 minutes From Nagano Station to Snow Monkey Park bus stop You can take the Nagaden Express Bus Or combine train and local bus Local bus: About 40 minutes If you’re taking train and local bus Nagano Electric Railway: About 45 minutes Bus: About 5 minutes Walking: About 35 minutes By car, use the Kambayashi Onsen parking lot! About 20 minutes from Shinshu-Nakano IC The Snow Monkey Park bus stop and Shibu Onsen Are positioned like this Connected by local bus routes It’s so cold~! Really chilly today! The monkeys must be in the hot springs! Looking forward to it!! I’ve never seen monkeys Bathing in hot springs in real life! Me neither! I’m excited! Hope there are lots of them in there! The monkeys that bathe Are usually females or babies! Males don’t get in much apparently! We’ve arrived at the entrance! It’s a 25-minute walk through the forest from here The path is flat and easy to walk so far! The ground isn’t very frozen! Maybe because it’s today? (Is the snow) freshly fallen? Huh? I don’t think it’s fresh!! It’s packed down!! Obviously! (laughs) There are a lot of foreign visitors Japan’s famous Snow Monkeys! Indeed I said “indeed” again! Wow!! There are so many monkeys!! Are there that many!? Amazing!! Wow What are they eating? Is there food in the snow? Wow! Amazing! Amazing! Are they taking a bath? They look so relaxed~! Compared to morning, they’re a bit Around 11 o’clock More relaxed They were eating in the morning Watching them makes me want to take a bath too! Want to join (the monkeys)? No way I could get in there with them!! Just watching them is so soothing♪ I’m getting hungry~! I think I saw a soba restaurant over there Around here Should we go there? This is incredibly delicious!! The broth is so good! Delicious! It’s kelp broth So delicious! Perfect for this cold weather Since we were cold earlier It really warms you up! It’s rare to find udon at a soba restaurant! Amazing that they can make both!! I see! Oh! You can see their high level of skill! Really delicious! The soba was delicious too♪ I can see our destination! The view here is amazing! You can see the townscape of Shibu Onsen! Steam is rising here and there! I’m so excited~!! Oh? There’s Kanaguya! Ah! You’re right! Our inn for tonight (Kanaguya) It’s huge!? It’s like a castle! I think it’s four stories high… Like a castle! It really does look like a castle! Our next destination is Onsen Temple! Onsen Temple has connections to Takeda Shingen! Shibu Onsen itself has connections to Takeda Shingen Really? Why? It’s said that soldiers healed their wounds at
Shibu Onsen during the Battle of Kawanakajima The Takeda family crest A reverse version of the three wise monkeys!! We’re in town now~! The stone pavement in Shibu Onsen is lovely♪ Feels like a traditional Japanese hot spring town Shall we do the Nine Sweets Tour♪ Shibu Onsen has the “Nine Hot Springs Tour” And the “Nine Sweets Tour” where you can create your own souvenir You buy a “Itookashi Box” divided into nine sections Each shop’s special hot spring manju and Original sweets, local items and keychains You can fill it with memorable items as you like! Shiso manju & Monkey candy I wonder if the onsen egg will fit…? It’s so cute! Super cute!! I fell in love with the Matsushiro pottery items!! There’s a cafe attached! Delicious!! Everything they sell is so cute♪ The Matsushiro pottery is just too cute Pottery made in Matsushiro, Nagano City
Known for simple designs and unique blue-green glaze It has a sparkly blue color Really cute! The ice cream is delicious too Perfect for a break♪ Taking a bath tour and having gelato sounds nice! The Itookashi Box is getting quite full Only 4 spaces left! Gradually, this box that started light Is getting heavier with memories Getting heavier! (laughs) That’s a nice way to put it! Let’s explore a bit more And fill it with more memories!! Hot spring manju & Issa manju Only 2 more spaces until the box is full! What will you fill them with? I’ll fill them with shooting gallery prizes! Though I don’t know if I’ll win I’ll save space! Just in case I win! (laughs) The hot spring town is so peacefully quiet! Perfect for a leisurely stroll!! Since the town is compact It’s easy to explore♪ Shall we check in to the hotel!! A historic hot spring inn founded in 1758 The four-story wooden “Seigetsu-ro” and “Kanaguya Great Hall” Were recognized for their architectural value And designated as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties in 2003 All 29 guest rooms have unique designs With detailed and playful touches throughout the building Along with its own private hot spring source It’s loved by many guests Amazing!! What a cute room! It has such a retro feel, doesn’t it? Isn’t a green wall very unusual? The ceiling is distinctive too So incredibly cute!! It has a Taisho Roman style This side too It’s so luxurious! Shall we look at what’s in the back? There’s a relaxation space! Oh! There’s a garden! Ah! Someone is there! Could it be the founder? One night isn’t enough! Should we check out the baths? There’s a spacious bath too! Is it for one person? Maybe two people could squeeze in? There’s a round bath It’s made of wood! Oh! There’s a toilet! There’s a clean toilet here The hotel is amazing! The rooms are incredible, and The path to get to the rooms is also Really long There are cute things here and there And some unique looking walls So we didn’t get bored walking here I didn’t expect it to be this big! I thought it would be smaller and cozier The rooms are spacious too There are so many baths! How many was it? 8? There are 8 baths 3 public baths
5 private baths I wonder if we can try them all? I want to try them all! We need to visit the public baths too! The “Nine Hot Springs Tour”! Hotel guests get a key So they can use the outdoor baths too A hot spring experience touring 9 public baths loved by locals!
Visit different hot springs with unique sources and benefits,
collecting stamps on your prayer towel along the way.
When you receive the final stamp at “Shibu Koshi”, your pilgrimage is complete.
It’s said to wash away nine hardships and bring various blessings. There are so many baths It’s hard to decide which one to visit! Well, let’s enjoy soaking in hot springs tonight To the private bath “Seigetsu no Yu”🤸‍♀️ I’m in the Seigetsu bath! There’s Mt. Fuji and pine trees painted on the wall And the bathtub is shaped like a boat When you get in the boat-shaped bath You can look up at Mt. Fuji and pine trees while bathing! It feels like taking a bath in the ocean There’s a round hole It seems to represent the moon These playful little touches Make the bath enjoyable The temperature is quite mild And the water is clear It feels so nice~ The tiles for Mt. Fuji Are quite varied in color That attention to detail Makes it enjoyable The great hall is so spacious The stage and lanterns are lovely♪ The ceiling is amazing too What a wonderful space! They must hold events here, right? They probably do performances here! Kanaguya’s original dish:
Chicken coated with buckwheat flour and simmered You can’t taste much buckwheat, but It’s juicy and delicious! Delicious! Delicious! It has lots of vegetables too It’s really delicious! It warms you up! Using buckwheat flour is unique! And the chicken pieces are big Too hot to eat… (laughs) It’s delicious! The cheesecake dessert just arrived And this This isn’t dessert size! (laughs) It’s huge! (laughs) It’s the size of a regular store-bought cheesecake! (laughs) That’s hospitality! This must be the largest portion ever! I’m happy! We can eat plenty! Half a cheesecake would be enough No, this is fine! Some people want to eat more! Wow, amazing! Their hospitality Is really impressive It’s livelier at night! Many people are doing the bath tour! Yes, they are! The sound of wooden clogs Echoing on the stone pavement is so nice! And the soft glow of the lights! It’s lovely~! It really feels like a hot spring town! Nice to enjoy it quietly♪ Not too many people here! Perfect for a relaxing time♪ It’s a hidden gem! The night view is beautiful too~! A nostalgic shooting gallery The owner’s humor and personality Are part of this arcade’s charm Isn’t that amazing? Wow!! Maybe I’m a sniper! (laughs) Owner: What are you talking about Wow! This is so fun!! Owner: You’re really making a video! Sniper! Let’s try hitting that green bird next! Isn’t that amazing? Amazing!! Owner: That’s amazing! I might win all the prizes! (laughs) Owner: That’s impossible Owner: Wrong finger I’ll aim for this one next! Ah~ I missed~ How about this one? Owner: See for yourself Then I’ll go for this! So exciting☆ You can get prizes based on your accumulated points♪ How about Hello Kitty? Owner: Kitty is fine!
I’ll give you extra Thank you so much! I’ll save money to stay at Kanaguya again! The shooting gallery was fun~! That owner had such a unique character! It was fun! He gave us extra! He gave us quite a lot extra Got a Hello Kitty piggy bank I’ll save up in this to come back to Shibu Onsen! It was fun! My first time trying it I did pretty well! Are you shooting by instinct? I don’t really know, just went by feeling! You’re hitting targets just by instinct Because I’m a sniper Must have been a sniper in my past life! Kanaguya’s light-up It’s so beautiful! The building is glowing! It really is! Because it’s wooden This warm lighting looks so good! Is that like Ghibli? Spirited Away? It does look like Spirited Away! Shall we do the bath tour! The snow is intense! So much! It’s really coming down~! Isn’t it beautiful! The real bath tour We’re doing the Nine Hot Springs Tour♪ First number one? Let’s go to number one! We probably can’t do them all? We don’t have time I want to visit numbers one and nine! Let’s choose a few to visit! Bath #1 – First Bath
*Said to be good for digestive system The first bath was so hot! It was just right! It was so hot, I could only stay in for a few seconds! But there were no other women! The men’s bath had about 3 people! Everyone’s bathing from early morning! What’s next? Let’s try bath number nine! Bath #9 – Shibu Great Bath
*Said to be good for fertility, rheumatism, and neuralgia The final stamp is above bath number nine!! After completing all nine baths, you go to “Shibu Koshi” to pray! Have we done the Nine Hot Springs Tour? We still haven’t visited about 7 of them… It’s quite challenging! To visit them all Takes time Need to do it efficiently to visit them all! Let’s eat! It’s tororo rice! Looks delicious! They said it’s barley rice Barley rice + grated yam + egg Looks so delicious!! Mmm~! Delicious!! What a luxurious breakfast! The tororo is so fluffy! Such a soft texture! Delicious! The tororo is really so fluffy! Is it different? Yeah! What could it be? So fluffy! It’s fluffy but has a strong flavor! They said it was seasoned! The egg yolk is delicious too! Do you have any regrets about the trip? I don’t think so… The Itookashi Box We’ve almost filled it completely We filled it all yesterday! Though we’re still missing 2 spaces, but Let’s assume we’ll fill them with shooting gallery prizes What do you mean ‘assume’? They won’t fit, but let’s pretend they do! (laughs) This is my “Itookashi Box”! It was fun filling it one by one! Like choosing presents This could work as a gift too! You’re right! It would make a nice souvenir! It’s too cute to give away! Because I like it so much! The public bath tour was great too! There were quite a few people! Bath number nine was pretty crowded! The general public can use that one too It was comfortably warm And there was a sauna too! Only that one has it! That one had (a sauna)! I peeked in but it looked too hot So I didn’t go in! We only got two stamps on the hand towel But we collected them We’ll do the rest next time! Yeah! That’s right! The hotel was really great too~! And the baths too We tried the private bath And the gender-switching bath The Roman Bath, was it? The Roman Bath! It was beautiful! There’s a fountain inside Hot water springs up from there! The Kamakura Bath was like Stone on the bottom And wood surrounding the top! Like a rock bath? I wonder about that? There are so many baths We can’t try them all! (laughs) We’ll have to stay multiple nights to try them all! Shibu Onsen is really nice I want to come back! Thank you for watching!

  5. Perhaps I misunderstand how to use some y.t. features… BUT… I want subtitles without the Japanese subs underneath. I can't switch the Japanese ones off, which makes it into subtitles over subtitles, & it becomes unreadable… The 🇯🇵 subs seem to be part of the video itself? Unfortunately, it renders the vid unwatchable for anyone who doesn't speak the language.

  6. I heard Chinese voice at 25:43, she said 温泉蛋 (hot spring egg/ onsen tamago) 😂 it's interesting. seems like there are many tourists
