Hello, this is Yoshi. My first destination is Amanoiwato Shrine in Miyazaki Prefecture. I’m excited to see what kind of trip I’ll be on. This is the scenery near Amanoiwato Shrine. It’s peaceful and soothing. I’ve arrived at Amanoiwato Shrine. I’m looking forward to visiting the famous Amanoiwahara, too. Let’s purify our hands before praying. Amanoiwato Shrine’s Nishihonmiya It’s a very sacred atmosphere There is a magnificent sacred tree. The blessings are good luck in work, good relationships, and happiness. I’m heading to Amanoyasukawara. It’s a little over 10 minutes on foot to Amanoyasukawara. It’s a nice walking course. Negative ions are blasting out . I’ll cross the bridge that leads to the myth. Please take a look.
Pebbles are piling up. We arrived at Amanoyasukawara. It’s an indescribably mysterious space. Let’s enter the cave. It’s exciting. There is a cool air. The cave is dimly lit, like another world. It is said that the eight million gods gathered at this place. Drops of water fall from the top of the cave. It’s cold… Many pebbles are piled up. It is said that if you stack the stones and make a wish, your wish will come true. Even the gods are surprised. I discovered a big tower. It is a Japanese mystery. It is a place that everyone should visit at least once. I have lunch at “Otani-ya”. Takachiho is famous for its soba noodles.
They make use of local water and fresh ingredients. I’m looking forward to eating soba while looking at this view. I wonder what to eat?
There are so many menu items that it’s difficult to choose… This is soba tea made from roasted buckwheat seeds. I ordered “mori soba”. The noodles were shining. Thank you for the meal .
It was delicious. The scenery is really beautiful! Next we head to the “Hachidairyuo Suijin”, also located in Takachiho. Wow!
A dragon welcomes us! It’s a short walk from the parking lot.
It’s good exercise after a meal! There’s a cat. Hello! Oh, water is coming out of the dragon’s mouth! There’s a dragon here too! The water is cool and feels great. Let’s go to the main shrine! Wow! This is a magnificent sacred tree, just like a dragon! Enter the shrine. The atmosphere inside the shrine is very sacred. Wow ! It’s a work of art that would even astound Picasso. The “Hachidairyuo Suijin” is worshipped as the god of water. It seems that prayers have been offered there since ancient times to pray for rain and to prevent river flooding. Today we’re staying at the “Train Inn” in Hinokage Town. It’s actually a real train that has been renovated into accommodation! It looks like it’s about to start moving!
“Watch out for the train departing!” It’s exciting to be able to stay at a train inn ! It’s my first time seeing train wheels up close! I’m now heading to my room!
I ‘m so excited! I’m in ! This is my room for today, with only tatami mats and a futon. I’m staying here without meals tonight. There is a refrigerator. Water comes out of the tap. There is also a toilet. Crime prevention measures are also in place. The ceiling is low. I love tatami mats. I’m looking forward to sleeping on a futon on tatami. This room is a train. What is this? It’s a breaker. This item is! It’s an item to get rid of flies. It’s a hidden place. There is a hot spring right next to the inn. There is also a foot bath, so let’s go and check it out. It’s a nice bath ♨ It must feel good to take a foot bath in nature ♨ This is the hot spring boiler room. Now I’d like to take a dip in the hot springs ♨ There is something like a museum, so let’s go and check it out. The Takachiho Railway used to run through Hinokage Town. The hot spring felt really good ♨
Dinner will be served at the restaurant in the same facility. When you think of Miyazaki, you think of “Chicken Nanban.” “Chicken Nanban” is a dish of deep-fried chicken marinated in sweet and sour sauce and topped with tartar sauce. It’s appetizing. good night. Good morning.
I slept well. This is an arch bridge called Seiun Bridge.
It’s impressive. Our first destination is Yato Kannon Falls in Hinokage Town. Wow, it’s amazing.
The waterfall is apparently about 45 meters high. The waterfall cascading down the cliff matches the surrounding green scenery beautifully. There’s a path over here too, so let’s go over there. What’s there? It’s exciting, isn’t it? The vegetation is overgrown and we couldn’t go any further… Let’s get some energy from the waterfall. Next, I went to the Senjojiki Observatory in Nobeoka City. I arrived at the observation deck. Don’t you think it’s a wonderful view? This “Mount Hiei” is designated as a national scenic spot.
The scenery is like a Chinese landscape painting. And look down. It’s so scary… Is this Japan?
That’s the kind of place it is. I’m going to shoot a video for Instagram. Mount Hiei was very impressive. Finally, I’m heading to Kunimigaoka in Takachiho Town. Kunimigaoka is a hill at an altitude of 513m and is known as a famous spot for sea of clouds. The weather wasn’t very good that day, so the view was okay. There’s a road, so let’s go. I found a rather creepy statue… I found a mini observation deck. but the pine branches were in the way and I couldn’t see the view… Did you enjoy your trip to Miyazaki?
