⁴ᴷ Osaka: Ebisucho Station (大阪府: 恵美須町駅) – Japan Walking Tour (October, 2025)
Walking Through Nipponbashi Osaka: From Ebisucho Tram Station to Sennichimae
I’m on a journey heading toward Osaka, passing through various towns before eventually returning to Tokyo.
From Nara, I traveled to Osaka and stayed at a hotel near Tsutenkaku Tower. From there, I explored the surrounding neighborhoods on foot.
This time, instead of starting from the Osaka Metro Ebisucho Station, I began my walk from the Hankai Tramway Ebisucho Station. The “tramway” refers to the old streetcar line, which still operates in parts of Osaka. I wasn’t able to catch a train departure, but the area is close to Tsutenkaku, and I decided to walk toward Nipponbashi and Namba.
Nipponbashi-suji Shopping Street, known as “Denden Town,” is a covered arcade lined with electronics shops and hobby stores. From there, I continued through “Ota Road” toward the Sennichimae area, soaking in the lively and distinctly Osaka atmosphere along the way.
