Paris, the capital of France , has been ranked the world’s most attractive tourist destination for four consecutive years since 2021. With nearly 82 million foreign tourists annually, it ‘s the world’s leading tourist destination, boasting world-famous landmarks like Eiffel Island, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre. Despite its popularity, France is also home to many immigrants and refugees, particularly from Africa, where conflicts and poverty have plagued the country . Approximately half of France’s immigrant population (46.6%) originates from Africa, creating an area known as Little Africa, where many African immigrants reside . Crime, robbery, illegal sales, and drug trafficking are rampant in some areas, making them dangerous enough that even local residents avoid them. This time , we visited the most dangerous areas of Paris and the areas with the largest African immigrant population. Please watch until the end. Thank you for watching. This may sound a bit sudden, but I’m currently in Paris, France . Today’s date is October 27, 2025, around 9:00 AM. I’m currently in what’s known as the 19th arrondissement. The scenery is beautiful, the canals are stylish, and it looks very Parisian and nice, but I’m sure there are some viewers who love traveling to Paris, France, and some who would definitely stop by Paris if they went to Europe, and even for those people, the 18th and 19th arrondissements in Paris are well-known as the areas with the worst security, and currently there are a lot of immigrants there, and I think that’s been the case for a long time, but especially recently with the immigration issue, France has been accepting immigrants, and the 19th and 18th arrondissements are said to be places that really feel like France. So, I’m currently staying at the Holiday Inn, which is right in the middle of the 19th arrondissement, here, this is a hotel. This time , I’m only in France for a very short time, only two days, so I’m not going to any of the tourist spots like the ones everyone else goes to. Instead, I’m going to focus on France’s immigration issues and the areas that are in disarray . I’m currently in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, and right in front of my hotel is this canal called the Canal Saint-Marie-de-Marie. Areas along this canal are known for being a bit unsafe. Since the hotel is right in front of me, I’ll wander around the area and check out the dangerous parts of the 19th arrondissement, and then I’ll head over to Africatown in the 18th arrondissement. I came all the way to Paris, but I ended up only seeing the dark side and not the tourist spots, which is a bit strange, but anyway, Paris wasn’t my main focus this time , so I just filmed a video on the side. If you go all the way along this road along the Canal Saint- Marc-de-Temps, you’ll come to the Stalingrad subway station. The area around the station is pretty dangerous, so I thought I’d go there first and then explore some other places. The subway from the 19th to the 18th arrondissement is also pretty dangerous, so tourists often avoid it, and it’s often mentioned in guidebooks and on blogs by Japanese residents of France, but I decided to go anyway. There’s a lot of graffiti, so this area is still more stylish and beautiful than the street I walked through on my way from the airport to this town. There aren’t many African people here; it’s more of an Asian Chinese crowd. The city is beautifully decorated with tall trees, and it’s a really fashionable time of year when the streets of Paris look incredibly beautiful. But that’s not my point of view, so I’ll be different. Please stay with me until the end of this video. Honestly, I was staying in the 19th arrondissement, and I looked around last night , and I still don’t have the courage to walk around at night. The hotel staff told me not to walk around at night, but during the day, it’s like this, there’s no one around, and it feels normal . From my own experience. However, it’s considered one of the most dangerous areas, so I’m not sure what it’s like there. I’m going to Africa Town in the 18th arrondissement later, and I think it’s just as dangerous as the Africa Town I visited in Koshu, China the other day. I read that even just taking out a camera can get you attacked by a group of people, so I’m going to be pretty determined. If it’s too late, I might not be able to get it. Yeah. Apparently, it’s pretty violent. I heard it’s pretty crowded, so I’m going to be extra careful with African people. This area is still in the 19th arrondissement, so it’s fine. I’m sure many of you are thinking about traveling to France, and about Europe in general, and wondering what exactly it means to be unsafe. In Paris, the most common thing is being robbed, being surrounded by several people, and then, you know, there are a lot of drug addicts and their buyers, and getting involved with them. And, for women, rape. This is especially prevalent in the 19th arrondissement in France, but the risk of theft is everywhere, even in other areas. Drug addicts are n’t that common in Japan, but they’re quite common overseas, so I think there are some people who don’t really understand even if they do some research, but that ‘s just how it is in Paris . It’s a little windy, but the view is amazing. It’s amazing. However, if I look away, it smells suspicious and I think that’s probably the case, but according to Google Maps, from around here it’s Stalingrad Kanabe , or rather, the street in the back is Stalingrad Street. Street. Well, it’s normal. Well , it’s morning, and people sometimes tell me to go at night , but I’m also scared at night. It doesn’t feel particularly dangerous, especially if I’m alone. I think the station is probably around here . It was raining a while ago, so it’s wet, but it’s stopped now. There seem to be quite a few African people here, too. Is this Stalingrad Street? There’s a subway station in the back. But it’s still a little early, so I guess the restaurants aren’t open yet. Oh, um, katsu curry and other things have a Japanese feel. It says it’s Japanese. Well, the graffiti is amazing. It’s still perfectly walkable. Not at all. Frankly. Well, it depends on the time of year, but this area is perfectly safe. Shops in front of subway stations are closed. It’s not because of the time, but there are quite a few that are closed. Honestly, the Stalingrad area feels normal , so I don’t think it’s worth much. I’m going to take the subway to Belleville, which is said to be the worst station in the 19th arrondissement. Apparently the subway isn’t that great, either, but let’s get going. Also, I’ve already bought a one-day ticket for the Metro and it’s saved in the app, so I’ll just keep riding. I think it was about 12 a day. Okay, let’s get going . The subway in the center has quite a nice atmosphere. Which way? Is it this way? I’ll take Line 2. Yeah. For some reason, I’m getting an error and can’t get on, but I’ll look into it. The ticket date is correct, and it’s not responding to my purchase. It’s quite unexpected, but my ticket didn’t go through the app, so I bought another one . It cost an additional 12 euros. So expensive. I made it. Damn. I paid 24 euros. It sucks that I can’t cancel this. I ‘m taking Line 2, so this isn’t it. I missed it a little, but there were quite a few homeless people in the aisles just now. But there were also quite a few police officers. Amazing. Everyone around here is homeless. There are a lot of people under this station. They’re all under stations and in the corridors. Homeless people. So I arrived at Bell. The subway didn’t feel particularly dangerous. There were even kids on the train. I’m curious to see what it’s like above ground. Let’s go outside. The area around Bell is supposedly the most dangerous in the 19th arrondissement , and there’s a Chinese supermarket. This area is known as the second Chinatown . I think the main one is in the 13th arrondissement, but this one has a slightly different vibe, and there are definitely a lot of Chinese people. I read that this area used to be really unsafe, but I think it’s probably more stable these days. Compared to before, there are African-Americans, but I guess they’re Chinese. I wonder why I blend in. It’s not a red-light district. It feels like a Chinatown that just popped up . Apparently, it’s pretty dangerous here, and even Chinese people don’t really like coming here. It really does smell like a discovery. I read somewhere that this area off the main street has a unique atmosphere and is dangerous, and it’s true. It’s already 11 or 11:30, and many shops are closed. But, well, this area is mostly Chinese. I’ve never been to Chinatown in the 13th arrondissement . And there’s that other area called Bangkok’s “Rouro Rouro” (Rouro-Rouro) area, right? But this place has a scary feel to it. There’s a lot of graffiti and stuff . There’s a bit of a desolate atmosphere. There are definitely some shops open around here. Everyone I pass is Chinese. It’s all written in Chinese characters. There are quite a few homeless people on the streets. But that’s about it. It’s quiet, but I think it’s normal . Right here, they’re handing out free meals to the homeless. Everyone here is getting coffee, bread, and apples to eat. But it looks like there are Chinese people lined up, so I wonder if the Chinese people living here are getting some, too. Even that pretty girl over there is getting some for free, so maybe they’re giving them out to everyone, but I don’t think that’s the case. Yeah . The number of homeless people has suddenly increased. The streets are really beautiful, though. People who are getting food are eating them. I’m pretty sure France is very conscious about food waste, and I’ve heard that restaurants give away expired ingredients for free to the poor, or that there’s some kind of social system where they’ll give them to you if you ask . Maybe they’re giving them out as part of that . I’m walking around the Belleville area, which is said to be the most dangerous area in the 19th arrondissement, but it feels a lot scarier than the train station in Milan, Italy , but maybe I’m just used to it. It doesn’t feel that way at all. As I said earlier, it’s completely different at night than it is during the day, so it might be perfectly safe here during the day. Well, that’s enough about the 19th arrondissement, but I’m heading to my main destination, Africa Town in the 18th arrondissement. I’m going from Belleville in the 19th arrondissement to Chateau de Charente-Louis in the 18th arrondissement. I’ll be taking the subway. For some reason, the subway station is a little smoky. I wonder what that smoke is. So, I’ll get off at the nearest station and walk to Africa Town. I heard that if you don’t put your mind to it, you’ll get attacked for taking photos, so I’ll try to stay hidden with my iPhone. I also read that smartphones can be taken, so I wonder if it’s really that bad? Well, I’m sure the information I got beforehand is different, so I can’t really say. Right away, the station is crazy. People there are constantly talking to me. Oh, and the number of African people has suddenly increased . I almost got arrested just for passing by. Basically, I ‘m wondering if I should buy that Thai. Okay. Why are they being so persistent ? The atmosphere changed the moment I left the station. That’s pretty scary. There are kids there even though it’s daytime, and it’s well guarded. I see that police officer. That ‘s how it is. Yeah, I didn’t know that. Oh, that’s a little scary. Around that station. I couldn’t get my camera out. Suddenly there are a lot of African people. A lot of the shop staff are African too. It’s pretty scary. I feel like I’m being watched all the time, and I stand out. I’m Japanese, and I’m pretty tanned, so I’d say I’m on the darker side, but still, there are no Asians here at all, and no white people either. It’s really hard to take in the atmosphere. Really, it’s pretty nerve-wracking. It’s really messy, like this. I wonder if this is reality. I came here during the day, and it’s like this. It must be dangerous at night. There are all these random African ingredients for sale, and the smell is amazing. It smells a bit. The number of African shops has increased dramatically around here . I wonder if these sell those vegetables and potatoes? Well, this whole area is like that. This is Africa Town. This is the entrance. It’s just like the clothes in Koshu. There are so many shops selling things like bags and suitcases. It’s a bit scary. I feel a bit more nervous here than when I went to Cape Town in South Africa. I was nervous. Even more so. I’ll be targeted. I’m being open. I wonder if this whole area is like that too. There are only African shops. African restaurants. This area is like a market too. Wow, they’re selling so much. It’s amazing. Oh, I was told not to take pictures. That’s scary. They’re very wary. Um, um, a lot of these people are here illegally. So it would be a problem if they were taken, and it seems like some of them are running their businesses illegally. I can’t catch them. They’re a bit wary, so it’s hard to catch them. There are so many. From here on, it’s all Africa Town. It’s quite high up. The atmosphere is quite desolate. This feels like the other side of Paris. Almost everyone is of African descent. This whole area is a market. It says “Mini Africa Market.” It’s a little scary, as you’d expect. But it does have a similar atmosphere to a religious sect. Yeah. There’s an indescribable smell and it’s all messy. I wonder why the doors are closed. Right in front of me is the Shuttlege subway station. I took Line 2, so it wasn’t this station, but I think this is the closest one . It really does feel like the atmosphere is different around here. It really does feel like Africa Town. Yes. I was a little scared, so I actually wanted to take more pictures inside Line 1, but everyone told me not to take pictures, and not to take videos either. Yes, it seems like there are some people who are worried about being filmed , because many of them are doing illegal things . That’s how it is. All the people on these streets are immigrants. That’s what’s scary. I don’t know what the atmosphere is, but they’re waiting outside, ready to say something . There was a foreign exchange office in Africa Town just now, but , uh, it’s a little hard to see because of the reflection. The US dollar, British pound, and Japanese yen are 33rd. It’s been a while since I’ve seen one up there. The exchange rate is really bad, though. 1 euro, uh, 167 yen. Um, if you buy it. Um, if you understand, the exchange rate from yen to euros is about 175 yen, so it’s a little more than 10 yen, but I think two yen is higher. Yes. I’m going to take a quick look around the station where I was harassed earlier. That place was scary. It was the worst. So I’ll try my best to get it. Personally, I think it’s worse than that market in Africatown. Anyway, the killing was incredible. And then I got harassed by anyone I could find . I get a little closer to the station. I can smell a strong timer. Oh, I didn’t get harassed that much. It was scary earlier though. The people hanging around here are scary. This area is scary. It’s pretty impressive. This area is definitely scary. This is probably the scariest part of the 19th ward. Yeah. They’re on high alert, so the moment they see someone being taken, they start screaming like crazy, which is scary. It reminds me of the design of that zombie town in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania, from the movie “Kenjin Tori.” The city around the station is less chaotic than before. There were a lot of them there earlier. This area is scary too. There are a lot of homeless people, it’s scary. The smell is terrible. Well, after this, I got on the subway, and there were a bunch of tents set up under this bridge, mostly filled with immigrants, people of African descent. It smelled really bad and was pretty scary. There were so many of them, too. The police are pretty much controlling it , but it’s still scary. Anyway, I went to the 18th and 19th arrondissements of Paris, which are extremely dangerous areas, and there are a lot of African immigrants in particular. I went to the 18th arrondissement, an area known as Africatown. It was like this. I was pretty nervous, though. Yeah. Well, I had until noon, so I went like this , but I think it’s probably best for everyone not to go out of their way to go. Yeah. Yeah, I was nervous. Yeah. I was worried I might get attacked, and when someone called out to me, it was intimidating, especially with those big, African-American people . Well, I’m thinking of going to lunch now, and I saw people smoking on the subway. My destination isn’t in the 18th or 19th arrondissement, but a completely safe, well, more like a normal place where everyone else goes . A viewer recommended a restaurant serving local French cuisine , and since today is my last day in Paris, I thought I’d try it before heading there . I’ll have a little extra French food before closing. I think I’ve just left Montparnasse station on the subway. Is this the Montparnasse Tower? Yes. So, I’m heading to the restaurant now. It seems incredibly popular and packed . I’ll just put up some information about the restaurant on the screen. I only have two whirlwind days in Paris, so I want to eat proper French food. Just once. Oh, there’s already a line. It looks like they’re getting ready. This restaurant. It’s super crowded. This one. Shall we line up? Amazing. Well, let’s eat. Let’s line up. This restaurant serves traditional French food, reasonably priced and delicious, so I think it’s quite popular , but they don’t take reservations. You’ll have to line up, so be prepared to wait at least an hour. I think it’ll probably be even longer. It’s a weekday , though. Yes. A lot of locals and tourists come here, but it’s a really popular restaurant . I’d like to eat escargot, and those French dragon steaks, and all kinds of desserts, and eat a hearty meal without worrying about the price. I was a little scared in Africa Town earlier. Since we’re in Paris, I’d like to finish off with something truly Parisian. Yes . I tried to time it to the turnover time, but it’s going pretty smoothly. They just opened about 10 minutes late, but I think we’ll be able to get in pretty quickly . Sit down. It’s okay if you can’t get a seat at first. I was the only other person there, and there’s usually no one eating alone . So, I managed to get in on the first round. Since I was alone, they gave me priority. It seems like it’s a bit difficult to find a seat if you’re with several people. Yes. Well, it might be a bit of discrimination against Asians, but this sort of thing happens quite often near the entrance. I’m sure there are people who do this blatantly in Hawaii, but I don’t think it would have happened this time. It’s already packed. Even if there’s an empty seat, when you’re seated near the entrance, it’s definitely the same. They probably give priority to people in the back, or closer to the kitchen. The same for the people at Daibeiji Temple. Also, there was the wind coming in, but they thought this might be wrong, so they asked to change seats and put me in the favorite seat. I ordered a little quickly, so it’s a bit confusing, but can you read it? I ordered spaghetti bolognese, roast chicken, and, um, escargot. For drinks, um, water. Yes. I think they probably wanted us to share. So it came out pretty quickly. It was pretty well-received. The spaghetti polonaise looked super delicious, and the restaurant’s popular menu item was roast chicken. It came with a mountain of fries, but it was pretty cheap. This one was 9 euros, and this one was 11 euros. I think ordering something like this at a decent restaurant would be pretty expensive, but this place is both delicious and delicious. And then there’s the escargot. It looks incredibly delicious. I’m sorry to the people at Aishi, but I’m taking that video anyway. The people at Aishi are already eating escargot. And then there’s the escargot. I’ve only been eating at Saizeriya lately, so I’m happy that it comes with a free seating. It looks delicious. Let’s eat. Super delicious. The table is a little small, so I can’t really take selfies. The escargot is also super delicious. Yeah. The chicken was good too. It really is delicious. Your information is very useful. I’m pretty sure it’s a good choice. A frequent visitor to France recommended this place, and I was right. Even with just this, the total was probably around 30 yen. I don’t think it was more than 30 yen. We got in surprisingly quickly, the food came out quickly, and we ate quickly. The total bill was 27 yen. Including the service, it’s incredibly cheap. I just left, and there was a line like this. Let’s close by going to see FL Island. We’ll take the bus. Is it the 82? That brings back memories. I remember walking here. Up ahead is the place where you can see Effert from the front. There are quite a few homeless people, though. It’s been three years since I’ve been to Effert. This cloudy weather feels very Parisian. It’s starting to rain a little. It’s lightly raining. I’d like to close with this picture of FL Island, but it’s starting to rain. It’s raining quite a bit. So, that was it, this time it was a whirlwind, but, uh, Paris, France,, uh, Africa Town, well, I think I was able to bring you a little bit of, uh, a bit of a geeky feel, I didn’t go to any tourist temples or anything like that, but. Okay, I’d like to end it here. uh, after this, I will be leaving France, uh, from next time , uh, I will be uploading videos of me going to the Balkans, Serbia and other places that I’ve always wanted to visit, so I hope you will continue to watch. Next time, I will be reporting on my departure from France and heading to Serbia. If you’d like to, please leave your thoughts in the comments section, rate me highly, and subscribe to my channel . Thank you for watching. Well then

Not Hoiiday's inn
