Agano, Niigata (新潟県阿賀野市) – Kansuiro (環翠楼) ryokan property grounds 2025 Sep. 12
So we are in Nigata prefixure. This is the main uh reception building for a dioan in Nigata called a in ao nigata prefixure called Kuido. Really pretty grounds. I’m sure it’s awesome during the uh autumn leaf season. And this place is called Kuido. an 11 room luxury property. You can see the hydrangeia hydrangeas not in bloom or at least not coloring. So this is where we came in from. Uh I’m going to focus on enjoying staying here. So there’s uh two registered tangible cultural buildings here. Um this is the first one. And it’s called Taiishon, a guest room called Taishon. So this is a registered tangible property building. And so this is where uh I guess they have I don’t know if they have guest rooms, but this is uh where they have uh they serve the meals. And also as you walk past it through it, there is a um uh public uh uh onsen bath as well as a um uh private rental bath. And so coming over here, take another look from here. Hi. Hi. Is uh So, if you look from here, let’s take a look from here. That building across the river up here, that’s where we’re staying. It’s the second register tangible cultural property called Dinaku. So, this is a private villa. Um, and that’s where we’re staying. So, uh, we’re going to take a look inside. in a second. But you can see that it’s really pretty. Really pretty property. I guess some of these are the guest rooms. There’s a cute little touches stairs leading to other rooms. I I’m assuming. So coming this way, this is the uh back side of that uh Bean Senkaku building. So let’s come around. We’ll come in from the front again. This is the uh the other building. Wow. It’s going to be pretty during the uh fall autumn leaf season here. And so this was built in 1616 originally. The the property was founded in 1616 uh 1614, I’m sorry. And it was uh rebuilt in 1919, I believe. And that’s how it is uh as it remains to this day. And so looks like there’s other guests checking in. I don’t want to get in the way of that. [Applause] So we’re going to take a look at Dinang Kaku. So this is the explanation [Applause] of the building. It’s known as Ven St. Kaku. Yes. So, it’s an original building. It was registered in 2021 as a tangible cultural property. Um, before we do, I guess there there’s a lot of it’s it actually sits on a um ksuro. This dilcon sits on a pretty large grounds. I forgot the exact dimensions of it, but it’s many acres. So, uh anyways, we’re going to we’re going to enjoy our stay here. [Applause] It’s known for its cuisine. Uh it it’s known for its onsen and it’s about 30 minutes from Nigata airport.
