【東京都檜原村】最奥地の集落で偶然出会った九十代のおばあさんの話

東京都檜原村(ひのはらむら)。
檜原村の最奥集落を散策しました。
急な山道の途中にはポツンと一軒家が見られます。
それらはすでに人のいない廃墟になっています。
山頂付近には比較的、古民家が密集しています。
人が住んでいるのは2軒くらいでしょうか。
時が止まった世界になっています。
バス停におばあさんの姿がありました。
杖を持って、石の隅にちょこんと座っています。
送迎バスを待っているとのこと。
これから下の体育館で体操をするそうです。
体操は定期的にしています。
九十代のおばあさんは畑仕事もこなしています。
嫁いでからずっとこの地で暮らしています。
戦争体験もしました。
毎週のように街から子供が様子を見に来てくれます。
春は桜、秋は紅葉がキレイだと教えてくれました。
畑では檜原村名物のジャガイモを栽培しています。
ジャガイモができたらまたおいでと声を掛けてくれました。
とても優しいおばあさんに心が癒された散策でした。
