Starting from the spot where K’s Denki and Book Off stand side by side,
I walked past Shiomidai Elementary School toward the Shiomidai intersection at dawn.
Beyond the tracks, the sky slowly brightens,
and the school bathes in the light of the rising sun.
The big ball race at sports day,
a windy school trip,
and the Shiomidai Olympics—
this is a place filled with memories,
a place where we grew a little older.
