I’m going on a hot spring trip from Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture to Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture, to “Arifuku Onsen.” Here I go. My body’s cold and I want something warm. I have some udon. I’ll hold off. A souvenir . The smell of the sea. Don’t let it rain. 350 yen. Will it come out from here? Let’s take it. Real udon looks delicious. Let’s eat. It’s shrimp tempura . It’s definitely udon. Not instant. It ‘s warming . It’s shrimp. It’s delicious and popular . Thank you for the meal. My top recommendation: No one bought bread here. I arrived at Yayoiyu, one of the three outdoor baths at Arifuku Onsen. The water is slightly warm, the tub is shallow, and there are no shower facilities. Closed on Fridays. The bathing fee for all three is 400 yen for adults. The stone-paved stairs are also available. Today’s accommodation, Roynohako, offers accommodation only . The wine shop is closed on Tuesdays. Free parking for the outdoor baths is available. The Italian restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The second bath , Satsukiyu , is deep enough to soak up to your shoulders. “Fukuari no Sato Arifuku Onsen,” which has been around for 1,370 years, is located on a hilltop at the top of the stone steps. The third outdoor bath, Gozenyu, is on the hill. I came here because I wanted to take a bath in Gozenyu. Closed on Tuesdays. Don’t come on Tuesdays. There’s a temple there , a scary bear, who protects the hot springs. Yakushido, the hot spring town. The Kagura Hall is closed today, of course. The hand bath, which uses natural spring water, feels nice and doesn’t smell. It’s closed. I’m going to “KASANE” to check in . Check-in completed . One bathing ticket is included . It’s about a one-minute walk from “KASANE.” Go up the stairs and the standard room is on the left. The private guest room is on the right. The PIN code key return box is available. The shared toilet and shower room are separated by gender. Clean. Shampoo and body soap are available. There’s a washing machine. I chose the blueberry room, which felt good. I stayed in a private room right after entering. 1 night, 2 days, with no meals. 5,500 yen. The wood smells nice. It’s cheap . There’s a refrigerator. The house is great . The kitchen is nice and well- equipped . There’s even a microwave. Breakfast is tomorrow off . I wanted to see Iwami Kagura. Don’t come on Tuesdays. Let’s go to the hot springs. The atmosphere changes at night. We go from Satsukiyu. We use a bathing ticket. The adult bath is 400 yen. The beauty bath makes you beautiful. The hot springs have a moderate temperature and a smooth feel. Next, we head to Yayoiyu. The attendant is not there. I don’t have any coins, so I go home. I eat some bread and go to sleep. Good night . Good morning the next morning . It ‘s cloudy . I head straight to Gozenyu, which was closed yesterday. I’m the first to arrive. Retro. Normal temperature. Adult bathing fee is 400 yen. Lockers are 100 yen. Thermae Romae . The bath is deep, a little hot, and I warmed up. I ‘m back. Check-out complete. Goodbye, Arifuku Onsen. Next time, I’ll avoid Tuesdays. Buy some souvenirs. What? I’m chilled from the gachapon machine. There’s also a booth in the fish market ‘s 15th wholesale building and a souvenir shop in the commercial building with a wide selection. It’s not open yet, but I ‘ll take a look here. The old Shimane Fish Center has been renovated and is set to have a grand opening in 2021 as a base for creating new excitement. I want to eat live sea urchin. I’m cutting it up. I think “Nodoguro” is famous around here. It looks delicious . I can eat it up there . I can’t wait. I’ll buy some souvenirs.
