Okay, before we start, Booking.com, if you’re watching this, please sponsor us. We love you. Disclaimer, this video is not sponsored by Booking.com yet. Japan has some of the weirdest hotels on the planet, and most people never even hear about them. So, today, our friend here is staying in a luxury four-star hotel, and we’re going to take a closer look at whether the experience actually lives up to the rating. The rules for this series are quite simple. Our friend here checks into a hotel in Japan and takes us on a guided tour of the amenities. At the end, it’s over to you. Rate the hotel from 1 to five in the comments below. Okay, so behind me is the one and only Hotel Villa Fontaine in Tamachi. This hotel is located 8 minutes away from Tamachi Station. Therefore, you can go to Shibuya Shinjuku Tokyo Canada Airport in less than 30 minutesish. Location is pretty awesome, I would say. And the best part about this hotel is it’s our first four stars hotel in this channel. All right, so let’s read some reviews. John from the US said, “Perfect for business or short stays near two stations but in a quiet area.” I would have to say it is very quiet here. Kelly from Singapore said that the Aanote line was right there. Super easy for sightseeing but noisy at night. And finally, Carla from the UK sum it up with great value for the quality. The room is small, yes, but you’ll get fourstar service for three star price. So, basically, we got cheap room, a bit noisy because of the easy access, and the location seems great with the Yamano line. So, we’re going to check all of that in this video. I’m going to get in. [Music] Now it is time for room tour. Starting with amenities. These amenities in our room. This is for rentals. Here we have vending machine. This is the snack vending machines. They have snacks for days. This is the ice vending machine. They produce ice. And this is the microwaves. And this is the smoking area. And this is the coin laundry. Include the dry feature in it. They need coins. They also accept credit card. And this is the man-made park. That is one of the best features about this hotel because I mean, look at it. It’s beautiful, guys. It’s crazy. Next is inside the room. So, here is the place where you need to put your keys. Then the door will open. Oh, man. I like the smell. It smells very rich. Very premium premium smell because it’s a fourstar hotels. You know what I’m saying? We’re rich now, guys. We’re rich. Please subscribe and turn on the bell notification to make us richer. Our floor is the top one. It’s pretty crazy. And we have happy hour. So stay tuned till the end of this video because you want to see that happy hour and everything. That’s pretty cool. All right, you can see this view. Look at this view, guys. We’re at the top. We’re going to our room. Look at this piece. I can lie down here like a like look at this. All right, we’re inside this room. As you can see, it’s very spacious. It smells amazing. Many feet. This is a purifier. This is the sofa. It’s very long. It’s very comfy and it’s very This is the television. And they have all the information about the facilities. Free Wi-Fi. They have video streaming service on it. And they even have English. This is the working desk. It’s pretty small, but you can move it everywhere. And you can move it here. I mean, it’s marble. This is the kettle. It is Tiger. Tiger, if you’re watching this, please sponsor us, too. And this is the bed. We have one bed. We have two beds. I’m going to go over there. All right. So, the bed is pretty comfy. But yeah, if you come here with partner, your girlfriend, whatever, it’s quite hard because like you have this gap, but push the bed a bit close together and then you have like a very huge kingsiz bed. And the quality I would say is pretty uh And this is the toilet. And they have your Japanese style toilets. They have stop button, normal bday, shower button, normal bday for girls. You can adjust the spray strength. You can adjust the seat temperature guys. And you can clean the nozzle after you finish your business. And this is the toilet paper. It is two ply. Pretty awesome. And this is the bathtub. You can fit your whole body in it. It’s different because it’s fourstar hotel. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap for amenities. And we have haird dryer. Ooh. Now, this is a fancy hair dryer. Look at this. Yan. And this haird dryer is around 25,000 yen to 40,000 yenish. The price of this hair dryer allows you to stay 2 days in this room. It’s pretty crazy. What do you get from this hotel? And we have pajamas. one and two branded Villa Fontaine. It is very comfy and yeah, I think it looks pretty cool. It doesn’t look that bad at all. Like, so this room is going to cost you around 20,000 yen per night, which is less than 145 bucks. It’s cheaper than Motel 6, but the quality that you get is this. What the actual hell, guys? This is pretty awesome. My god. Oh, did I mention you about the view, guys? Look at this. This is the view from the 17th floor. It’s beautiful. And I love how there’s no noise at all. Like the review about the trains being noisy. I mean, I’ve seen Shin Ken over there. I I heard nothing. So that’s Next is the happy hour. And now the moment you guys been waiting for. Happy hour. Japanese sake and all the purple wine. All you can drink. It’s pretty awesome. Red wine, menu. This all you can drink, guys. This is pretty amazing. chopsticks. And for those who kind of drink wine and want to stay healthy, you have flavor water. And for the drink bar, you have all the coffee, the ulong tea, the orange, grapefruit foods, and everything. Pepsi. So, I’m taking some ice. Order some orange. Looks good. Have a tea. You know why it tastes so good? because it’s free. Finally is the verdict. The pros. The location is an absolute 10 out of 10. You can get anywhere. The room is big for Japanese standard with efficient layout. There is happy hour, real four-star experience at mid-range cost, but no swimming pool. I expect a swimming pool for a four-star hotel. No luxury extras like a spa or a gym. Overall, I’m giving it a solid 9.3 out of 10. It is perfect if you want a quiet, clean, well-connected four-star base for exploring Tokyo and you don’t mind not having a pool. How would you rate the Villa Fontaine in Tom? If you’d like to know more about hotels in Japan without wing through all the marketing, subscribe and turn on the bell notification. Next time, we’re checking a three-star hotel in Tokyo that is 10 step away from the station. Come on, get them up. It’s time to feel the heat. We’re taking over now. Get up on your feet. Ain’t no time to sleep. We’re moving with the beat. Come on, rise up now. Let the rhythm set you free. Step into the light. Don’t be shock and repeat. Come on, get on up. Get that feel free.

Hotel Villa Fontaine Tamachi
https://maps.app.goo.gl/1FveYETQatdJQEBaA
Quiet 4-star hotel, rooftop garden, and shockingly good value in central Tokyo.
I checked into Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Tamachi — about an 8-minute walk from both Tamachi Station and Mita Station on the Yamanote Line. That means Shibuya, Shinjuku, and even Haneda Airport are all under 30 minutes away.
Room is mid-sized for Tokyo standards, spotless, and feels premium… and yes — there’s happy hour with unlimited drinks. Price I paid: ¥21,000/night.

The main trade-off?
No spa. No gym. No pool.
It leans pure business hotel, but with hospitality that quietly outperforms the price tag.

So… is this the most underrated 4-star value hotel in central Tokyo?
