Enjoy a delicious buffet at a popular Sapporo hotel. Enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients throughout the year. This time, we took a closer look at the “Wine & Dine Southwest” at Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel. Located a one-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Subway Namboku Line, the Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel will celebrate its 45th anniversary in June 2025. Southwest can be accessed from the hotel or the adjacent restaurant, Plaza Sapporo. The restaurant closes at 4:50 a.m., when employees arrive at work at 5:00 a.m. Preparations for the morning buffet begin. We expect to accommodate around 240 people with reservations that morning. We marinated herring in miso, baked it in the oven, made miso soup, made chanchan-yaki grilled hokke (Hokkaido’s local dish), seasoned the chicken , prepared the seafood staff bowl , grilled the herring, broiled it over the burner , arranged the ramen noodles, grilled the bacon , baked the croissants, set out the finished dishes, grilled yakitori (pork skewers), cooked the rice, steamed the corn , transferred the cooked rice to a container, fried the seasoned chicken, and placed the curry in an insulated container. Salad is included as a set fee. Croissants are baked as the ingredients are prepared, fried eggs made with Hokkaido eggs are baked, eggs are placed in molds shaped like Hokkaido and flowers, scallop rice, breakfast staples such as yogurt and tamagoyaki are served, steamed corn, Genghis Khan yakisoba is cooked right in front of the customers, Kushiro Zangi Shumai , bacon, sausages , fried eggs, Atka mackerel chanchanyaki, and many other types of bread are also available. The restaurant will soon open , with 118 seats. Despite the early hours of the morning, customers were already queuing up before opening. The restaurant opens at 6:30. Each customer can choose their favorite dish, and ramen can be boiled to their preferred hardness. Genghis Khan yakisoba is prepared right in front of the customers. In the kitchen, more dishes are made as they run out , plates are replaced, and dishes are cooked one after another as they are consumed . Sausages and cabbage are cut, and lunch preparations are also underway at the same time. Pork is marinated with salt and pepper, and white fish is marinated in the same way. White sauce is made, and the marinated pork is grilled and put into the oven. The staff also had breakfast. For dessert, soft serve ice cream is served at 10:00. Breakfast is closed, so we hurry up with lunch preparations. We grill white fish, cook the pork, prepare colorful vegetables, fry potatoes, prepare and fry the chicken for the yakitori ( deep-fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce). We simmer daikon radish and sausage in red wine , make German potato, chestnut and mushroom pilaf, shake the frying pan, make deep-fried potato mochi with seaweed, cut the pork, pour the sauce over the pork, and the roast pork is complete. We then arrange the finished dishes. Fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce, pan-fried white fish, omelet , stewed daikon radish and sausage in red wine, deep-fried potato mochi with seaweed, German potato, roast pork, vegetables of the day, shumai , chestnut and mushroom pilaf , cake, and other sweets are also available . All-you-can- drink wine is available on weekends, including sparkling wine . 11:30 The lunch buffet is open. Sukiyaki is cooked live for lunch. Pasta is also cooked live. The pasta is mixed directly with the cheese. The sauce is poured on. The dishes are quickly replenished. Bolognese sauce is made. Oranges are cut to be used for the morning buffet the next day. Pan -fried white fish was popular that day. Pineapple is cut. Season with salt and the Bolognese sauce is complete. 14:30 is closing time. The chefs clear the dishes and plates, while also preparing for the next day’s business. Mix the cream cheese and raisins. Fillet the white fish. Prepare the appetizers. Arrange the salad in bowls. Put it in the refrigerator and preparations for the next day are complete. The seats are cleaned. From 15:00 the restaurant opens as a lounge exclusively for guests. It was a very satisfying buffet at a popular Susukino hotel!

こちらのホテルバイキング、本当に美味しい!私はランチタイムでよく行きますが、パンも札幌では有名な【おかめやのパン】を使ってるのと、パスタもカレーも全部素晴らしくて✨
