October 13, 2025. My family is working away from home in Kitami City. We ‘re currently in Kitami City. Preparing breakfast. Vegetable and pork belly soup. Kotaro has vegetables first. Bacon, egg, and cheese toast. Kotaro is downstairs, eyeing the bread. Breakfast is ready. Osa’s current accommodation includes breakfast and dinner. We try to eat together on our days off. Corgi travel, van life with a corgi. Osa, Mama-chan, and Kotaro. Today we’re planning to go to Tokoro Town in Kitami City. We haven’t been to the beach once this year. We’ll go to Tokoro Town’s Tonan Beach and try some seafood at Lake Saroma. So, we set off for Tokoro Town. Tonan Beach . The weather forecast is for clear skies. But first, we’ll go to a delicious cake shop in Tokoro Town. We’ll have some to go with today’s coffee. Saison. Photography is prohibited inside the shop. We head to Tonan Beach. The Sea of Okhotsk is rough. Jonan Beach. Coffee time. Coffee is great while watching the rough sea. Our family’s favorite is a light-roasted mocha blend. At Saison, the cream puffs are made fresh to order. The choux pastry is incredibly crisp. The fragrant pastry is filled with a generous amount of soft-tasting cream. It’s delicious. It’s windy, but since we’ve come all the way, we’ll take a walk along the beach. Kotaro is excited by the rough waves. The Sea of Okhotsk is home to delicious seafood. It’s majestic. Let’s go and enjoy some seafood from the Sea of Okhotsk. Oysters are in season at Lake Saroma, which is connected to the Sea of Okhotsk. There’s a seafood market nearby where you can grill and eat them. Jonan Beach. Tokoro Roadside Market. Tokoro Town is also the hometown of the Loco Solare curling team. Tokoro Roadside Market Fish Hall. Lake Saroma is also famous for its scallops. Due to rough weather every day, the fishing boats couldn’t go out. Of course, Osa was in charge of grilling. Oysters from Lake Saroma are known for their firm, rich texture. Grilled oysters have an even more concentrated flavor. So delicious. They were so good I ordered another plate. Kotaro stayed home alone, so I was able to enjoy some delicious oysters. Thank you. Before heading back, I went to our usual public bath. Osa bathed at the inn, so I went alone. Takaei -yu. The adult bath fee was 500 yen, and the water was nice. I made dinner for Kotaro. The other day, I received another gift from a viewer living in Kitami. I received it later. It was delicious ramen. Kotaro also had a snack. He was full from eating oysters today, so I skipped dinner. Osa had dinner at the inn after this. Tonight’s dinner for Osa. Cupcakes topped with fresh fruit. The balance of sweet and sour was delicious. The Sea of Okhotsk was rough, though. Kotaro enjoyed himself, so I’m glad we went. The oysters from Lake Saroma were also very satisfying. 牡蠣美味しそうでしたね！浜名湖も養殖牡蠣ありますが、たまに湖底に落ちる牡蠣があって（落ち牡蠣といいます）
これは素人が取っても罪にならず問題ないので知り合いが取ったこの落ち牡蠣でBBQした事があります。
生で食べた事もありますが、やはり怖いかな 汗
これから牡蠣のシーズンになるのでＢＢＱに声掛からないかなって？期待しています 笑
