【鎌倉・江の島・茅ヶ崎】湘南観光に便利な藤沢駅の5つのホテルを比較してみた!

This time, I’ll be introducing hotels near Fujisawa Station, a convenient base for sightseeing in the Shonan area. Fujisawa Station is served by three lines: the JR Tokaido Line, the Odakyu Electric Railway, and the Enoshima Electric Railway. It’s easily accessible, with many hotels and restaurants around the station. It’s a convenient base for sightseeing in Shonan, including Kamakura, Enoshima, and Chigasaki. This article introduces five hotels near Fujisawa Station, along with a reference price for one night on September 1st. Finally, I’ll introduce my top recommendation. Please watch until the end. Please subscribe and like! First up is the Super Hotel Shonan, located just a three-minute walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station. It has a Google review rating of 4.2. It costs 9,900 yen per night. Let’s get started. Entering the Super Hotel room is done with a PIN code. Not having to carry a card key is convenient. Be careful, you won’t be able to enter if you forget your PIN. As soon as you enter, you’ll see a full-length mirror. There’s a very long shoehorn. Let’s take a look at the room. There’s a bed. And in front of it is a large TV, like this. There are three hangers here. You can borrow a pillow of your choice, one for each person, in the lobby on the first floor. Nightwear isn’t provided in the room, so you have to bring it there. This room has a desk and chair. There’s also a chair here. Pull it out and you’ll find a kettle and coffee cups. There’s a refrigerator underneath. There’s a mirror. The hair dryer is here. Around the bed, there are USB ports in the same position as the power outlets. If two people sleep together, only one person can charge their device at the pillow. There are two USB ports, but the person sleeping on the other side can’t reach them, so it’s best to leave them plugged in when charging. Let’s take a look at the bathroom. It’s a fully equipped unit bath. This is the type where you can use both the faucet and shower. I won’t bathe here because it’s more comfortable in the large public bath. I’ll use the large public bath. However, I can wash my face and take a shower here. Tomorrow’s breakfast is included, so I’m looking forward to the breakfast buffet. That’s all from the room. Excuse me. Let me introduce the hotel’s facilities. First, I went to the laundry area. There’s a laundry area. This is very helpful. The dryer is free. You can use the washing machine for 200 yen. Detergent is provided. There are three dryers and three washing machines. Fabric softener is also available. There are vending machines. I cleaned all my laundry here. I went to the welcome lounge on the first floor, where free drinks are available from 6 PM. They offer soft drinks like cola, orange juice, and oolong tea. Here, hot coffee and tea are available. They also offer lemon sours, plum wine, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, all for free. In the evening, I headed to the hotel’s large public bath. It uses natural hot spring water, so you can relax and unwind in the spacious bath. It’s also conveniently open from 3 PM until 9 AM the next morning. The breakfast buffet is included with all guests, so I went. This is simmered chicken. Next to it is hamburger steak with tomato sauce. Grilled salted mackerel. Scrambled eggs. Vienna sausages . Natto. Salad. Boiled eggs. Whitebait and grated daikon radish. Super Hotel offers a large natural hot spring bath, free alcohol, and a breakfast buffet, which are great features. Next up is a hotel just a two-minute walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station. It has a 4.1 rating on Google reviews. Kip Hotel Shonan Fujisawa costs 6,931 yen per night. Formerly known as Sotetsu Fresa Inn, it rebranded and reopened as Kip Hotel in July 2024. There’s a hanger in the small space just inside the room. There’s a luggage stand. And here’s a long, full-length mirror with slippers underneath. Let’s take a look at the entire room. It looks like this. I think the bed is a little spacious. There’s a double-sized bed. With this much space, two people can sleep comfortably. Nightwear is here. Around the bed, you’ll find lights and switches. Let’s take a look here. There’s a TV. There’s a simple chair. Having a chair like this is very helpful. There’s a kettle downstairs, so you can boil water and make tea or coffee. There’s a black refrigerator on this side. It’s clean, and it looks like it’s still new. It’s a small refrigerator. My room is on the second floor. The Odakyu Line is right in front of me. I arrived at the hotel about three minutes from the station. I think it’s the closest business hotel. Let’s take a look at the bathroom. It’s a standard unit bath. The bathtub is deep for a unit bath. Shampoo, conditioner, and body shampoo are provided in pump-type dispensers, so you don’t have to worry about running out. There’s a sign in front of the elevator below saying you can help yourself to the amenities, so you can take as much as you need. There’s hand soap. There are two cups. There’s a hair dryer. There are two sports towels and two bath towels on top. The toilet has a washlet. There’s no large public bath, so I have no choice but to bathe here. This time I’m staying just one night without meals, but I’m looking forward to enjoying this hotel. That’s all from my room. Excuse me. There are few amenities in the room, but they’re all kept on the first floor, so you can easily bring anything you need. In addition to toothbrushes and razors, bath salts, facial masks, cosmetics, and hair treatments are also available. There are also plenty of amenities for women. Another nice feature is the all-you-can-drink draft beer, coffee, cafe au lait, and cocoa from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A coin-operated laundry is also available, for a fee. This hotel is relatively affordable compared to other hotels. It’s the closest hotel to the JR Tokaido Line, Odakyu Electric Railway, and Enoshima Electric Railway, making it convenient for those with a lot of luggage. My third recommendation is the Smile Hotel Shonan Fujisawa, a three-minute walk from the south exit of Fujisawa Station. It has a Google review rating of 4.1. It costs 9,057 yen per night. My room is on the fifth floor. I use my card key to enter. As soon as I enter the room, there’s a space to hang my hanger. There’s also a space below to store my suitcase. Two slippers are provided. There’s also a shoehorn and a brush. Let’s take a look around the room. There is a 140cm wide double bed. The room feels larger than the Super Hotel. It is said to be 14m². There is also a chair. It looks quite comfortable to sit in. There is a large desk . It is spacious enough for one person. For two people, there is only one chair, so it would be nice if there was another one. If you are staying alone, there is plenty of work space. There is a home-sized TV. Take a look below. There’s a refrigerator. There’s a refrigerator. The hair dryer is stored here. There are two packs each of sencha and hojicha here. There are also two cups. There’s a kettle. There’s a mirror. The bed looks like this. It’s spacious enough for two people to sleep in. This is the view outside. You’ll find this hotel if you walk from Fujisawa Station toward Ofuna. I think breakfast was around 1,100 yen. This hotel offers a breakfast buffet. There’s a GUSTO on the floor below, so they offer cheap breakfasts. Having breakfast at GUSTO might be a good idea. Let’s take a look at the bathroom. This is it, let’s open it. It’s a unit bath. Unit baths in business hotels are generally designed the same way. The toilet is at the front, and the bathtub is at the back. There’s no large public bath here, so you’ll have to bathe here. You can use the body soap, shampoo, and conditioner here and take a shower. That’s about it. This is my first time staying at a Smile Hotel. There’s a fairly sturdy chair and desk, so working on your computer shouldn’t be a problem. That’s all from the room. I arrived at the laundry space. There are two washing machines and two dryers. The washing machine can wash 5kg of laundry for 300 yen. The dryer can be used for 30 minutes for 100 yen. So, for 400 yen, I could do a light wash. Detergent is automatically dispensed. Having a laundry space like this is really helpful. This hotel’s rooms are a little larger than other hotels, at 14 square meters. There’s a GUSTO and convenience store on the floor below, and the Fujisawa Station shopping district is nearby. There’s also a Mega Don Quijote and plenty of restaurants. So, shopping and dining are no problem here. My fourth recommendation is a hotel just a four-minute walk from the north exit of Fujisawa Station. It has a Google review rating of 4.2. It’s the Almont Inn Shonan Fujisawa, priced at 9,647 yen per night. The key is a card key. Insert the card key. Immediately upon entering, there’s a large full-length mirror. There are four hangers. And below that, there’s a shoehorn and shoe polishing cloth. There are also two slippers. This is deodorizer. Let’s start with the room. We’ve already put our luggage there. There’s a desk and chair on the right. The desk feels a little narrow, but it looks like we can fit a laptop on it. And this is the kettle. There are two cups, one for cold drinks and one for hot drinks. And over here are tea bags: two green tea bags and two roasted green tea bags. This is the TV. It’s about 36 inches. The room is small, so a TV of this size might be just right. This is the bed. It feels a little cramped, a semi-double. It feels a little cramped for two people. It’s just right for one person. The room is also a little small, only about 10 square meters. The width feels quite cramped. There are chairs on this side too. So we can both sit, which is helpful. The table is a little low, but it looks like we can open our laptops. There’s one USB port and one outlet next to the pillow. I think this hotel is primarily designed for single occupancy, but can also accommodate two people. They provide nightwear. It’s a one-piece nightwear. This is what it looks like when you open the window. You can see the apartment buildings and the road. Now, let’s take a look at the bathroom. This is what the bathroom looks like. This hotel doesn’t have a large public bath, so I’ll use this one. Considering the small room, it has a bathtub that looks like it would be nice to relax in. It ‘s beautiful. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided here. This is the shower. There’s a faucet. It’s convenient to be able to adjust the temperature from here. And here’s the sink. There’s hand soap. There are two cups. And amenities are provided. Only women’s amenities were available at the counter , so I think men’s amenities are only provided in this room. There are four cotton swabs here. Two folding brushes . Two toothbrushes. Two razors . Two body towels. That’s all there is in the room. There’s a hair dryer here. There are two face towels and two bath towels on top. That’s all from the room. Well, excuse me. A breakfast buffet is available at the restaurant on the first floor for an additional 1,210 yen. There’s a Doutor Coffee right in front of the hotel. CAFFE VELOCE is also a one-minute walk away. They offer affordable, delicious breakfasts with coffee. There’s also a coin-operated laundry facility, though it’s subject to an additional fee. While the rooms are a little smaller than other hotels, the hotel is conveniently located near the bustling shopping district at the north exit of Fujisawa Station. The south exit is easily accessible via an underground passage. My final recommendation is a four-minute walk from the north exit of Fujisawa Station: Hotel Wing International Shonan Fujisawa , with a Google review rating of 3.7. It costs 6,454 yen per night. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a large selection of manga. There’s also a shelf on the right with a selection of free rental items. Now, let’s enter the room. I was given a physical room key like this. It seems to open when you insert it into the keyhole. It doesn’t open unless you turn it. This type of key is rare in modern hotels. This kind of physical key shows its age. This might be a bit of an old-fashioned hotel. You have to carry this key around, and it’s quite heavy. As soon as you enter, there’s something like this to hang your clothes on. There don’t seem to be any hangers here. There are two pairs of slippers directly in front of you, underneath. There’s also a luggage rack. The room looks like this. Business hotels are really small, aren’t they? There’s a semi-double bed. There’s a door, so let’s take a look at the bathroom first. The color of the door is a bit dated. Opening it reveals a unit bath. All business hotels around here are the same size. There’s a curtain, allowing you to enter the bathtub. I ‘m pretty sure this hotel doesn’t have a large public bath, so you have to bathe here. There’s shampoo, conditioner, and body soap here, so you can use that. This is face and hand soap. The shower is a basic type. There are two bath towels on top, and two hand towels. The toilet does have a washlet, but it’s also a bit old-fashioned. Let’s close this and head to our room. As soon as you enter the room, there’s a full-length mirror here. You can never have too many mirrors like this. There’s a closet on this side. It’s a freestanding closet. When I opened it, there were hangers. There are four hangers. There’s air freshener. There’s a shoehorn and brush. The wallpaper is a little unique. I wonder if it has some kind of floral motif. There’s a bed. It’s the perfect size for one person to sleep in. Since two people sleep in this bed, it’s a little small. There aren’t any amenities in the room, so I brought them from the front desk on the first floor. I brought the nightwear and slippers I needed downstairs. You can also bring as many amenities as you need. A lot of business hotels are like this these days, so I brought two sets of nightwear and two pairs of slippers. There’s a table lamp. And a phone. There’s also a mirror here. There’s a chair, table, and mirror here. It’s a slightly worn chair. As long as you can sit down, it’s fine. If you’re alone, you should be able to open your laptop and do a little work. There were plenty of amenities prepared at the front desk, and we were allowed to take as much as we wanted. This is shaving gel. There was mild medicated lotion and toner. Fresh apple juice and mouthwash. It says mouthwash and mouthwash. I brought these too. I brought a hairband. I also brought two toothbrushes. There was also a razor. There were plenty of other amenities for women. We didn’t bring any because we don’t use them much. This is labeled “deodorizing pouch.” It says , “Please remove the pouch from the package and place it inside your shoes.” Apparently, putting it inside your shoes will remove odors. There was also a duck. It ‘s a thoughtful gesture, meant to encourage you to float it in the bathtub and enjoy your bath. The amenities look like this. There are two cups like this in the room. There are also two spoons like this. There’s a kettle on the shelf below. There’s also a hair dryer here. For some reason, it’s the Kojiki, not the Bible. It’s placed there so you can read it. And next to it is a refrigerator. It’s a hotel refrigerator. There’s a Mitsubishi TV. There are curtains here. I’d like to open them. Let’s open them. There’s a small window. I just opened it. The top of the window folds down towards the front. It’s probably good for letting in some fresh air. When I entered the room, there was a bit of a lingering smell. It’s a fairly large opening, so just opening it just allows for fresh air. Even if there’s a lingering smell, you can still let in fresh air, which is very helpful. Here’s the full view of the room. There’s a bed, and a closet on the other side. And on this side there’s a desk and a TV, and it looks like this. That’s all from the room, excuse me. This is breakfast. It seems to come free. I opened the individually wrapped bread, toasted it, and ate it. This is coffee from the drink bar. It’s not my favorite, but it’s good for people who like weak coffee. This is cheese bread. It ‘s a bun with cheese on top. It says it’s natural yeast bread . This is a chewy bread. This is curry pie. The pie crust is very soft. This is a soft curry pie. The other two seem to be cream and custard pies. They’re custard-filled pies. The pie crust is the same. Apparently, you can take them back to your room and eat them there. This is a good option for those who don’t mind eating anything for free. You can take the manga at the front desk back to your room and read them at your leisure. This hotel felt the oldest of the ones I introduced this time. However, it’s inexpensive, offers free breakfast, and has manga available for reading, so it’s recommended for those looking for a budget-friendly stay. What do you think? Were there any hotels you’d like to stay at? Finally, my top recommendation of the five hotels is the Super Hotel Shonan Fujisawa Station South Exit, which I introduced first. It has a large natural hot spring bath , a delicious breakfast buffet, and all-you-can-drink alcohol from the evening onward. Whether you’re staying alone or with a partner, I think this hotel will satisfy you. It ‘s also close to the Enoshima Electric Railway, so you can use it as a base for sightseeing in Enoshima and Kamakura. And when you return to Fujisawa, it might be nice to have dinner in the entertainment district at the south exit. If you are planning to visit the Shonan area, please use this as reference. If you have any information about good hotels other than those introduced this time, please let us know in the comments. If you enjoyed the video, please click the like button. Thank you for watching until the end.
