⭕️根室半島線（根室市→納沙布岬）｜最果てへ向かう道⭕️
北海道の東端、根室市から納沙布岬へ向かう約27kmの道です。オホーツク海と太平洋のあいだを走るこのルートは、まさに「日本の東の果て」へ続く一本道。
道の両側には草原と湿地が広がり、ところどころに漁港や放牧地が見られます。天気の良い日には、遠くに国後島の影が見えることもあります。
道沿いには灯台や展望台があり、風の強い日には波しぶきが道路近くまで届くこともあります。静かな風景の中を、ただまっすぐに進む時間が続きます。
おすすめの時間帯は朝。太陽が海から昇る様子を正面に見ながら走ることができ、澄んだ空気と光が印象的です。
終点の納沙布岬は、日本で最も東にある岬。
白い灯台と北方領土を望むモニュメントがあり、静かに海を見渡すことができます。
⭕️Nemuro Peninsula Road (Nemuro → Cape Nosappu)⭕️
The Nemuro Peninsula Road runs about 27 kilometers from the city of Nemuro to Cape Nosappu, the easternmost point of Japan.
It stretches between the Sea of Okhotsk and the Pacific Ocean, leading quietly toward the far east of the country.
On both sides of the road are grasslands and wetlands, with small fishing ports and grazing fields along the way.
On clear days, you may even see the outline of Kunashiri Island across the sea.
There are lighthouses and small viewpoints along the route, and on windy days, waves sometimes reach close to the roadside.
It’s a simple and quiet drive, surrounded by open land and sea.
The best time to visit is in the morning, when the rising sun appears over the ocean ahead and the air feels clear and bright.
At the end of the road is Cape Nosappu, marked by a white lighthouse and monuments facing the Northern Territories.
It’s a calm place to look out over the eastern sea.
