based on value for money. The locations were selected from areas most visited by travelers: Shinjuku,
Shibuya, Ginza, and Asakusa. Prices range from around
100,000 to 300,000 KRW, and the hotels are
suitable for couples, families, and solo travelers. Let’s get started. The first hotel is Hotel Groove Shinjuku. It opened in May 2023 in the Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower. Located between the 20th and 38th floors of the tower, this hotel offers stunning city views from its upper floors and features art and music-themed spaces. The dining bar JAM17 on the 17th floor is especially popular with both tourists and locals. Room types range from Superior Rooms, about 21㎡ in size, to Deluxe Rooms at 27㎡ and Premier Rooms at 32㎡. Higher-end options include suite rooms. As of September to October, prices start at the mid-300,000 KRW range. That’s the base price range. Breakfast is served on the 17th
floor where JAM17 is located. You can choose a main dish, and lighter options are offered buffet-style. Overall, it receives decent reviews. Limousine buses to Haneda and Narita
airports stop at the tower’s first floor, making airport access convenient. It’s also about a 10-minute
walk from Shinjuku Station. Just 10 minutes on foot. Located within the Kabukicho Tower complex, there’s even a Starbucks

on foot to Shimbashi Station. Also, right next to the hotel, the Daiichi Hotel has a
limousine bus stop for airports, making future airport travel convenient. It’s located between Ginza and Shimbashi, recommended for solo travelers or couples looking to enjoy shopping and dining. The fourth hotel is lyf Ginza Tokyo. It was rebranded and reopened at the end of 2023 as
Ascott’s co-living brand. Room types range from Studio (13㎡) to All Together rooms up to 20㎡. As of September to October, prices start in the high 100,000 KRW range. That’s the average rate. Breakfast is served simply at the cafe. A shared kitchen is also available
for cooking your own meals. The hotel is located near Kyobashi Station on the Tokyo Metro. Nearby stations include Takaracho and Hatchobori, making it easy to reach Disneyland. Ginza and Tokyo Station are also
about 10 minutes away on foot. It’s convenient for airport travel too. Ginza’s main shopping street
is also a 10-minute walk away. Facilities include a 24-hour gym, shared business spaces, and laundry room. If you’re planning to visit Disneyland or want a new, affordable hotel near Ginza, this is recommended for
solo or two-person travelers. Next is OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resorts. A new hotel in Asakusa
that opened in July 2023. Self check-in and
check-out are available here, and Korean is supported. Rooms include the Basic Room (18㎡) and Deluxe Room (33㎡). As of September to October, prices start at just over 200,000 KRW. What makes this hotel unique is the ability to choose a room with a view of Tokyo Skytree, or enjoy
it from the rooftop terrace. You can enjoy the Skytree from a wide-open rooftop view. If breakfast is included or
added to your reservation, you’ll receive a room
key with credits loaded, which you can use at the
lounge on the 13th floor. This 24-hour lounge also allows you to self-serve drinks and alcohol as well as grab quick bites like bakery items,
sandwiches, and lunch boxes. All available for purchase in the lounge. In the evening, they
offer free alcohol time. Drinks and alcoholic
beverages are complimentary. It’s a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station, and just a 2-minute walk to Sensoji
Temple and the Asakusa streets. If you’re planning to visit
Asakusa, it’s the perfect location. Recommended if you’re
planning to visit Asakusa or looking for a hotel with a great view. The sixth accommodation is Hotel Hisoca Ikebukuro. It opened in March 2023 as a full-living style hotel. All rooms are equipped with
either a sauna or mist shower, giving it a private spa-like vibe. There are 10 types of rooms available, ranging from 34㎡ to a maximum of 60㎡ rooms. The Standard Double (34㎡) features a 180cm king-size bed, a rare size in Japan. This spacious bed is provided and as of September to October, prices start in the mid-300,000 KRW range. That’s the base rate. Also, breakfast is served like a bento box, making it easy and convenient. It’s just a 2-minute walk
from Ikebukuro Station, which also has limousine
bus services to Narita Airport, making airport access very convenient. The highlight is that every room has a sauna, either dry or mist sauna. Both types are available. Nicknamed “cost-effective luxury,” this hotel focuses on
relaxation and comfort. Highly recommended for those seeking full relaxation. The final hotel we introduced is Next is Karaksa Hotel Colors Tokyo Yaesu. This is a new hotel that opened in 2023. It features colorful and modern design. There are 11 types of rooms available, starting from the 21㎡ Superior Room, up to 42㎡ Connecting
Rooms for up to 6 guests. Plenty of room options to choose from. As of September to October, prices start in the high 100,000 KRW range. Breakfast is served in
the first-floor lounge, perfect for those with
busy travel schedules. The biggest perk: only a 5-minute
walk from Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. It’s also within 10
minutes of other train lines. Just 3 minutes from
Takashimaya Department Store. Easy access from Narita
and Haneda Airports, and very convenient
for Shinkansen transfers. The hotel also features coin laundry, and a second-floor lounge for guests offering free snacks,
salads, drinks, and coffee. It’s especially popular with families. Located right in
front of Tokyo Station, at a reasonable price, this hotel is ideal for families looking for accommodation near the station. We’ve looked at 7 new or renovated value-for-money hotels in

그루브 가봤는데 상당히 만족함 기본룸은 욕조도 없고 좀 좁힌한데 프리미어룸?은 꽤 좋았음
그루브 건물 위쪽에 벨루스타라는 호텔이 하나 더 있는데 가격은 별로 크게 차이도 안나는데 훨씬 좋음
