平ヶ岳は新潟県と群馬県の境にそびえる標高2141mの山で、日本百名山の一つです。その名のとおり山頂部は平らな地形をしており、山名の由来もこれにちなんでいます。
山上は高層湿原が広がり、まるで楽園のような美しさを展開しています。
Hiragatake is a 2,141m-high mountain that rises on the border between Niigata and Gunma prefectures and is one of Japan’s 100 most famous mountains. As its name suggests, the summit is flat, which is where the mountain’s name comes from.
A high moor spreads across the mountain, creating a beautiful landscape that is almost like a paradise.
