今回の旅先は奈良県宇陀市にある『室生龍穴神社（むろうりゅうけつじんじゃ』です。
龍神伝説が残る地であり奈良県屈指のパワースポットとしても知られるこの神社は古来から雨乞いの儀式などが行われていて聖域でした。毎年10月に行われる秋祭りでは近くにある『室生寺（むろうじ）』からお渡りした行列が龍穴神社の境内で室生神楽の獅子舞を奉納し、五穀豊穣や魔よけを祈願する神事があります。特に、雄と雌の二頭の獅子による舞が迫力満点です！
ご神体は龍神の住処とされている『吉祥龍穴』で神社から少し離れた奥宮にあるのですが是非見に行く価値ありですよ！🐉

Our destination this time is Muro Ryuketsu Shrine in Uda City, Nara Prefecture.
The shrine, where the legend of the dragon god remains and known as one of Nara Prefecture’s leading power spots, is a sacred place where rain-making ceremonies have been held since ancient times. Every October, during the autumn festival, a procession from nearby Muroji Temple performs a lion dance of Muro Kagura in the grounds of Ryuketsu Shrine, a religious ceremony to pray for bountiful harvests and protection from evil spirits. The dance performed by two lions, one male and one female, is particularly impressive!
The sacred object is the Kissho Ryuketsu, believed to be the dwelling place of the dragon god, and is located in the inner shrine, a short distance from the shrine, but it is definitely worth going to see! 🐉

    もうすでに行っておられたらごめんなさい。龍鎮神社とセットで行くのがオススメですよ☺️室生ダムのダム湖のほとりにあります！龍穴神社の奥の院である吉祥龍穴とはまた違った雰囲気ですよ♪☺️

    私も主人と共に参拝に上がらせていただきました。拝殿の裏も参拝致しました。空気が違うだけでなく神秘的でした。また行きたいですね。雪が舞い散る2月でした。

    この厳かさが外国人にはわからないんだ。そもそも日本人の人気があって、守られて来たものに信仰心も敬う心もない人間を入れていたら、いずれ神様達から日本人が嫌われてしまうよ。
