Kinugawa Onsen Hotel is divided into three buildings, each with its own concept and unique features. I have reserved a room at Yunomachi-kan. This is the room I’m staying in tonight. Open Sesame! The room is a 31-square-meter Japanese-Western style room. Let’s go for it. A modern room designed around the concept of “a higher level of refined relaxation”! I was wondering what kind of view the room had!! Wow! A sheer cliff! It’s quite narrow, but there’s also a terrace. It’s a good view. Looking down, you can see the mighty Kinugawa River. The sound of the river soothes me♪ I’d like to go during the autumn foliage season. Now let’s take a look inside the room. This space has chairs and cushions, so you can relax while enjoying the view. Wonderful (´▽`) A bento box was placed on the table. Let’s take a look inside. There are two showers in the washing area, so it should be fine even if you’re short on time. The other private bath, “Toki,” features a ceramic tub. Next, I’m going to soak in the hot spring bath. There are two large baths, and guests are asked to rotate between them at designated times. In the stone-built large bathhouse, you can enjoy bathing in tubs made of natural stone. It was really lively! I don’t usually get to see street performances, so this was great (´▽`) I’ve returned to my room. I’ll check the bed before going to sleep. It’s a Thomas-Symonds bed. The pillow is on the softer side. The bed has just the right amount of firmness. I think I’ll sleep well. I’m going to bed now. Good night, zzz. Good morning! Day two has brought us nice weather. 🌤 This morning I went to the large bathhouse called “Valley Hot Spring.” Breakfast is served starting at 7:00. Please bring your breakfast ticket. Thank you for the wonderful time! There is a bus from the hotel to Kinugawa Onsen Station, but please note that it requires reservations. The hot springs and buffet were of high quality, and the staff were very kind, making for a relaxing stay. I’ll walk to the station on the way back. There was a large demon staircase.
