Thank you for watching, everyone. I’m currently in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal . Well, I’m wrapping up my stay in Nepal and heading back to Japan. I was thinking about flying Nepal Airlines back to Japan for the first time. I haven’t really done many travel reviews lately, but Nepal Airlines only flies between Nepal and Japan, so I basically only fly there if I’m going to Nepal . So, I decided to fly Nepal Airlines this time to make some memories , and the fact that I can fly back to Tokyo on a direct flight is incredibly convenient. As you know , as I mentioned earlier in the video, Nepal is currently in the midst of a chaotic situation due to the revolution. However, since it’s a national airline, they’re still flying, and they haven’t suspended service, so I thought I’d give it a try. If I had n’t used Nepal Airlines, I would probably have flown to Bangkok and then returned to Japan, or taken Singapore Airlines via Singapore, or the closest route via China would be Delhi from Kathmandu. If I went to Delhi, India, I could easily get to Tokyo with ANA, JAL, and Air India, but this time, I was heading to Narita Airport and filmed it on Nepal Airlines, in business class. To give you a brief rundown of what’s going on in this video, first I flew from Japan to Shanghai, then to Koshu, then to Hano, Vietnam, then to Wanguo, and finally to Kathmandu. I booked the Emperor in economy class, but then I ended up switching to business class for the last leg of the flight from Wanguo to Nepal due to an inflation. Since I’d always flown economy class, I thought I’d splurge a little on Nepal Airlines, and make some last-minute memories. So, business class, one way , was pretty expensive. It cost 170,000 yen. So, I splurged, but the flight time was 10:30 PM, landing at Tokyo Narita Airport at 8:30 AM, making it a seven-hour flight. It was quite long. I was worried about what would happen if I ended up feeling a bit tired and unwell, so I took a business class photo. Well, I’ve been rambling on about this for a bit now, but okay. Anyway , I’m heading back to Japan now. I was staying at the Aloft Hotel in Kathmandu , and the staff there were incredibly nice. They asked me what time my flight was, and they said I could extend my checkout until 6 PM, which meant 6 PM, and I could stay until then. They said I could relax in the lounge after that , but normally it’s open until 4 PM, if you’re a premium member. But they gave me two extra hours free, and they even put me in a suite. So, yeah, they were really nice and helpful, and it really helped. Being able to relax at the hotel until the last minute before heading to the airport is really nice. Also, Kathmandu Airport is a pretty crazy airport, so I think it’s best to arrive about four hours early . There’s a ton of baggage inspections and stuff. It gets crowded with people trying to get into the airport. Working backwards, I figured it would probably be best to head to the airport soon, so I’ll wait until the last minute to get to the hotel and then head to the airport . I’ll shower and brush my teeth before heading out. So, I was kind enough to check out in the lounge. They said I could stay in the lounge until the last minute, but I didn’t feel like I needed to stay that long, so I decided to head to the airport as early as possible. So, I checked out, and now, I’ve called a car. The Gear app sort of escorts all the cars . As expected of the city’s most luxurious hotel, the Aloft Hotel was a very old Suzuki Alof—no, not an Aloft. Um, it was an Alto Sport. Those used to be popular, right? Even in Japan. Thank you. Oh, wow . Surprisingly, I was sitting in the passenger seat. Bye -bye. Thank you. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a kei car, and this one’s an Alto, too. It’s perfect for Kathmandu. It’s tiny, and when I ride in it, it looks really small, but the driving is so chaotic, it’s fun. It’s about 30 minutes to the airport. It’s 530 rupees according to the Gear app . I paid 1,000 rupees for the long one, but it’s still cheap. The local price might be about half the price. Well, it depends on the time. I think it’s more expensive from the airport. It might be around 700 rupees from the airport. I don’t know the difference, but it’s a little cheaper from the city. Well, it’s still really cheap. And, um, the reason the window is open is because the driver smokes. I guess that automatically means I can smoke too. It’s pretty chaotic. There’s a lot of traffic, even at night. There really is a lot of traffic around here. It’s funny how they squeeze in at this timing. They just force their way in. There are no traffic lights or anything. It’s nice. This kind of feeling is what gives it a sense of country. It ‘s not this messy in the streets. Oh, they’re doing a U-turn here. Amazing. Amazing. I did a U-turn here. I was surprised. It’s nice. It feels like an attraction . I almost got hit. Well, there aren’t many streetlights, so it’s quite dark. People are crossing the street normally . This, this too. I almost got hit. Oh, hesitating to cut in and flashing, and then he’s going. Oh, he’s coming, but it’s just barely making it. Everyone loves scenes like this, right? It’s nice. The driver is laughing. This is being filmed. This is the most likely accident I’ve seen recently. There have been a few pretty dangerous moments. This driver is driving recklessly , so I’m just waiting. I was surprised. There are no traffic lights, so I’m waiting at the direction of the police. When you’re stopped at an intersection, you always hear people talking. Hey, this guy just came by, but I didn’t take his money, but he keeps coming back asking for money. That wasn’t the case when I walked there during the day. I wonder if he comes out at night. So, I arrived at the airport. So, I checked the airport, but it’s chaos. There are so many people. I guess I need to get there early. W-Where’s the entrance? I’m sure the security check before entering the airport takes a really long time. This is bad. I don’t know where the line starts . This is bad. It’s been a while. W- Where do I get in? Do I have to show my ticket or something? They won’t let me in without my passport. These people are just waiting outside. It’s amazing that it’s not just the passengers . The smell is insane. The spice smell is overwhelming. I finally made it. My passport and ticket reservation were checked here. So, I headed to the check-in floor. Where is Nepal Airlines? Probably this way. Ah, this is it. It says Nepal Air, so I’m checking in now. I made it somehow. So, I’m not checking any luggage this time. I’ll take it with me. I have a business class reservation, but I was guided to the economy class check-in counter, and they were doing it wherever they had space, but it was taking quite a while. I wasn’t checking any luggage this time, but they told me to attach this myself, and they gave it to me. So, um, check-in was complete. It seemed like they took a long time to carefully, um, handwrite my lounge ticket. I was wondering why I was waiting so long, but it seemed like they didn’t have my ticket for the lounge, so they said they didn’t have the paper, so I was made to wait. Yes. Well, yes. That’s it. And then there’s Nepal Airlines, which isn’t a low-cost carrier, but economy class passengers only have 7kg. Everyone else has a lot of luggage. They’re pretty strict about it, and since I’m on a business trip, I think it ‘s 30 or 40km and I’m allowed up to two pieces of luggage, but… They said I was limited to 20km, and with my backpack and suitcase combined, it was over 20km. They told me to reduce it, and I was like, “How am I supposed to reduce it?” I told them, “Well, the water’s going to be confiscated later, so it’s fine, but I don’t know how to reduce it.” They said, “Okay, fine,” and let me through, but they were pretty strict. Yeah. Everyone, that’s why it’s taking so long. Okay. Okay, well, I’m off now. I ‘m off now. This is in the middle of the video, but please forgive me for a brief advertisement. As always, this is a promotion for NoVPN. Currently, NoVPN is running a special campaign . This time, I’m offering a huge discount on a 5-month extension to anyone who signs up for a 2-year plan or longer by December 10th by using my channel’s coupon code from the link in the description of this video. It’s a great deal, so I hope you’ll take advantage of it . So, right now, I’m in Japan. Where am I? I’m in Izukogen, Shizuoka Prefecture. I’m currently relaxing at a hot spring inn, enjoying my first visit to Japan in a while. While there are only a few days left this year, I still have a lot of international travel to do. I’ll still be filming overseas, and it ‘s said that this year will see even more international travel during the New Year holidays than last year. I know I’ve said this many times on my channel , but I urge anyone traveling or on a business trip overseas to make use of Nodal VPN. I know that many people enjoy using various free internet services while out and about, whether it’s at a cafe, restaurant, airport, train station, hotel, or shopping mall, for both work and pleasure . However, especially overseas, there are many cases of third parties stealing and misusing their personal information when accessing free internet. In such cases, we recommend using NODVPN as one of your security measures . Using a VPN when connecting to the Internet, especially Wi-Fi , can significantly reduce the chances of your information being stolen and misused. Specifically, when connecting to Wi-Fi, your credit card numbers, PINs, bank account numbers, and other unlock codes can all be stolen and used to make unauthorized payments or even misuse your account, resulting in criminal activity. Using NODVPN can prevent such incidents from occurring. In addition to being a security measure, a VPN is also extremely useful for accessing the Internet overseas . If you want to use subscription services outside of Japan in the same way as you do in Japan, you can set up a Japanese VPN while overseas and use them just as you would in Japan. Conversely, you can even use overseas services while in Japan , so we highly recommend NODVPN . And, among the many VPN service providers , NODVPN boasts the fastest speeds in the industry. So, while there’s a lot of talk about how using a VPN slows down your internet speed, with Node VPN , you can watch videos and play games smoothly without any issues, and I think you’ll experience this firsthand, so I recommend Node VPN. Also, it’s incredibly cost-effective. With one account, you can connect and use up to 10 devices. While it might be a bit of a stretch for a family of more than 10, it covers up to 10 people, so even if you’re traveling with friends, one subscription covers everyone , so yes. It’s also cost-effective. Also, setting up the VPN can be quite complicated, and some people find it confusing, but Node VPN is incredibly easy. It uses One-Click Connect, so as long as you have an account, you can connect to the VPN with just one click, so no complicated setup is required . This time, if you signed up for a 2-year plan or more by December 10th of this year, Node VPN will extend your plan for free by five months, making it a great deal. For more details, please use my channel coupon code from the dedicated link in the description section to sign up for a 2-year plan or more. By using this code, you can receive a special benefit of a significant discount and a 5-month extension. As I mentioned at the beginning, this code is perfect for those planning an international trip this year. If you haven’t used VPUn yet, or are unsure what to do, I recommend Node VPU. This is the end of the ad. Back to the main story. Before going through security, you’ll have to go through passport checks about three times. It’s strict, isn’t it? But I’ve done it before, so I’m sure I’ve been there before . So, after I left the country, I was taken by security and shown to a lounge. Oh, thanks. Oh, so there’s a lounge before security. After I left the country… They’re so kind, and even when you arrive without knowing where to go, they just guide you around, which is amazing. Oh, I’ve been here before. It’s run by the Radisson Hotel. You can even enter PP. I’ve seen it before, but you can smoke in the lounge here. It’s amazing. It’s separated into a smoking area and a dining area. I imagine the food was pretty good. I’m really hungry right now. Wow, there’s so much. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful, and they do everything they can to help you. It looks delicious . The inside of the lounge has a retro Showa-era coffee shop feel to it, which is nice. They warm up some of the food, and some you can pick up yourself. They bring all the drinks right to your seat. This is the smoking room. There aren’t many people around, so it’s great. Everyone is so kind, which is great too. I think the cabin color is probably the same as before arrival . Well, you might be able to choose, but today, I have n’t eaten anything since breakfast at the hotel, and it’s already this late so I’m super hungry . I just brought a pretty substantial meal. Um, um, horekusa curry and something like fried noodles. This is some fried fish and chicken . Okay. I’ll eat this time. Let’s eat. The food in this lounge is made by the hotel, so it’s probably good. I remember it being good. Yeah. Delicious. This horekusa curry , yeah. I usually avoid raw vegetables in Nepal and India, but they have quite a few grilled vegetables like this, so it’s not too cold. It’s good, isn’t it? Yeah. Seriously, this lounge is the best. It’s great to be able to sit here and smoke a cigarette in a quiet place. But there’s nothing there before you board . I’m sure you’ll be fine until the very last moment once you’ve gone through the last security check . By the way, as I said earlier, this time the one-way flight from Kathmandu to Tokyo Narita Airport in business class was 168,000 yen. And I didn’t earn any miles or anything. That’s a bit painful, so, well, it doesn’t count as achievement, well, from a practitioner’s perspective . Yeah. It would have been nice if I could have at least gotten something like a code sia or something, but I don’t have anything. That’s painful. Yeah. It ‘s the most expensive airline ticket I’ve bought recently. You see a lot of business class in China, but in the video it’s really cheap. For domestic matches and short distances. Right. BG is pretty cheap too That’s right. It’s expensive from Japan, but it’s cheaper if you fly from other nearby airports . This time, it was 168,000 yen with Nepal Airlines. Well, I think other channels you often watch offer it for 1 or 2 million, but for me, it’s not even miles. I thought it was a big deal. It’s been a while . I thought it was a bit of a luxury. Now, let’s go through security and head to the gate . So, we passed security and entered the restricted area, but I’m already sleepy. That’s right . I just remembered, what should I do with my money in Nepal? I’m sure it’s pretty strict outside of Nepal, so I need to use it all up or save up. There are so many people. There’s nothing left once I get here. I can’t even smoke. No savings. Damn. I should have waited. I’ll buy something at the souvenir shop here. I guess I’ll just have to use it all up. I wonder if Narita Airport will make it? Outside of Nepal. I just looked it up online, and it seems like Narita Airport, or basically any other country, is pretty tough outside of the rupee, except maybe neighboring countries like India. It’s fine if I keep it now because I’m coming to Nepal next, but if I don’t, it ‘s just useless paper. And I had about 9,000 rupees left. I withdrew that 15,000 yen when I arrived in Nepal . But prices in Nepal are so low I didn’t spend it at all. I paid for things like the taxi and the house, but a coffee at a cafe costs only 400 yen, and a meal is less than 1,000 yen, and I spent 5,000 rupees at the casino , so I haven’t used up much cash. I still have about 9,600 rupees left. What should I do? There’s a huge line. I’m waiting at the register. That line is a pain, too. Should I buy some sweets? Or chocolate? Or tea ? My only other option is this national costume. I wonder how much this costs? And then there’s the prayer wheel. I already bought that. This slightly larger cart is 8,900 rupees. I could buy it if I wanted to. What should I do? There’s nothing I want. This is what you’re talking about. Oh, mint tea. I don’t need it. I just heard that this Nepali coffee comes in some kind of fancy container , and it’s 3,000 rupees. And this box of tea is 500 rupees, so I could buy about nine boxes of black tea. I don’t need it. There’s a huge line. Oh well. I’ll just wait in line and buy something random. For now, I managed to buy some high-end looking tea. I bought about 44 boxes of the wooden boxed stuff , which comes to 6,000 yen, or 6,000 rupees. I still have some left over. I think I should contribute to Nepal’s economy, even if it’s just a little. I’ll spend it all. For now, I bought coffee, coffee beans, and water . I still have some left over, but I’m tired of waiting in line, so I’ll call it a day. I’ve got absolutely nothing to do now, but it’s probably a delay. Nepal Airlines is so awful. Their delay rate is so high, it’s actually quite high, so I expected it. And, there was smoking. There’s a smoking area. Come to think of it, I feel like something happened there. I can’t really remember what happened three years ago. There’s a cigarette sign at the very back, so I can smoke quietly. Oh, that’s fine. I’ll just throw my cigarette there. Also, we’re supposed to start taking off in 10 minutes. The departure gate hasn’t been decided yet, and there’s no sign for Narita. Well, there is a sign, though. There’s no 5 sign, so I’ll kill time here. The departure time has already passed, but there’s no announcement or sign. It’s probably a delay. There’s no notice of a delay. Well, that’s about it. Let’s wait. So, they just made an announcement. I was worried there’d be a delay of a few hours, but they’ve just confirmed it’ll be about 30 minutes, so yeah, ok. Oh, there’s a huge line already. Good thing I didn’t have to wait in business class. That’s great. Yes. Hello. Everyone, you’re all so enthusiastic. You’re all so smiling and all, but you’re pretty slow at getting things done. I had a few things I needed to do after I got back to Japan, so choosing Nepal Airlines was a bit of a gamble. I knew there were going to be delays, so I was a bit worried, but I guess it’s fine. I’m sure there will be delays. I think there will be delays. Yeah, I think it’ll be fine. Most of you are all going to Narita, so I’m assuming you’re going to Japan, but how are you feeling? Are you already fully committed to work, or are you a student, or are you just traveling? I think it’s probably pretty tough, considering the income levels in Nepal. It would be different if the flight wasn’t scheduled, but with the situation like this. After the revolution, yeah. I think it’s amazing that Nepal Airlines is flying properly, and there aren’t any Japanese people on it at all. I think I explained it in the narration in the last video, but it’s pretty tough. Given the economic situation in Nepal, two out of ten people are unemployed, so I think many people are taking out loans to go to Japan to work. When I hear stories like that, I realize that Japan is also in a difficult situation right now, but it’s also a very fortunate place. I heard a few Japanese people here and there, so I guess there were a few Japanese people there. Most of them were Nepalese, though. I’d like to try an Indian curry restaurant after I get back to Japan. Most of them are run by Nepalese, so it’s delicious to eat there every once in a while. This time, it wasn’t the kind of thing you’d get in Japan. It was something from here. It was delicious in its own way, but the Nepalese-style thing, that Japanese thing, is so delicious. I don’t think people here eat it, but it’s a beef bun. All the food at Kathmandu airport is offshore. You either travel by bus or walk. Everyone is very lively, so I imagine that if you fly, economy class would be especially impressive. Everyone seems to be talking the whole time. That’s a possibility for business as well. But I feel like there aren’t many seats. Business class seems empty. I heard someone say something like that when I checked in today. The aircraft this time is an Airbus 330. A parked 330 feels big, doesn’t it? Really huge. The plane hasn’t even started to take off yet, apparently they’re filling it with fuel and can’t board. It’s pretty tough with all this luggage. This lady is slow. Yes. Business class is two-a-side, two-a-side, two-a- side. Well, it’s pretty spacious, not old, but I’m sure some people are disappointed that it’s not a private cabin. But the last time I was there, it was a really spacious type. Yes. There aren’t that many seats in business class. About 18. I got a window seat this time. And the amenities. I probably won’t open them. Yes. I’ll take it home. I think it contains a toothbrush and an eye mask. And, um, there’s a cushion and a blanket. I just got one. There were three Japanese people, including me, in business class. There were only three or six Nepalese passengers left . All that was left was to relax. Maybe it was a good idea to choose business class for the last time. I was getting pretty tired. It was peak time, after all. I don’t think there would be anyone sitting next to me. Yeah. This looks like it’ll be comfortable. The aircraft was a 330 Dash 200 bus . There were slippers, just in case. It’s nice that there’s space in front. The seats next to me weren’t too cramped, but they weren’t as spacious as a cabin. I thought this was an alcoholic beverage, but then I got a welcome drink. You only get one option: apple juice. Everyone seems to have that. It’s a bit like SriLankan Airlines. A mother with a small child sat next to me. That’s the car right next to me. As expected. They’ll definitely come. There were other seats available, but a mother with a child sat right next to me. A mother strips her child naked in business class and changes his diaper. That’s crazy. It ‘s about 30 minutes late already. I wonder if it’ll move? About 30 minutes had passed since we boarded, and the in-flight service began immediately . It seems there were two meals on the menu: dinner and breakfast. Both were chicken. It was either chicken noodles or chicken fried rice. Yeah . Only chicken for both . Sorry. I’m so sleepy right now I can’t think straight. I’ll take a quick video of the meal, then eat and I’ll go to sleep soon. First, Nepal Airlines’ peanuts were served. Then, for a drink, the man silently ordered a carbonated water . Damn. I’m so sleepy I might lose consciousness. So, the in-flight coloring came on . What was the main course again? Hmm, the chicken fried rice hasn’t arrived yet , but they gave me some kind of starter, which was also chicken. It was all chicken. Yes. And then there was bread. It was so much bread. What is this and crackers? What is it? It’s so dark I can’t really see. Maybe it’s dates? It’s like a salad. And then there ‘s dessert. It’s a sweet looking cake. Yes. Is this the same thing? Dates. Well, this is like a chicken salad. It’s dry and doesn’t have much flavor. And then there were dates. This one had no flavor either, and it had a unique smell and… it was a bit strange. It wasn’t tasty. To be honest. Well, well, well, well, it was kind of expected, or , well, it can’t be helped. Well, both of the options were Nepalese food, and both the main course was chicken, and the salad was also chicken, so that’s how it was. I feel like there’s probably some room for improvement, but anyway, being able to lie down and sleep is a big advantage, and I ate my meal in the lounge. Yes. It’s a bit disappointing. So, this is the main dish, chicken rice . It’s kind of, hmm, hmm. Yes. Well, let’s try a little. So I tried it, and, well, it’s basically curry. It’s like chicken curry with pilaf next to it, but the curry is spicier than I expected. Really spicy. The pilaf, well, it had almost no flavor. Maybe it’s just the right amount to mix with this. Yes . But I can’t eat any more. Yes. I’ll turn it down a bit and go to sleep for now. So, I’m off to sleep. We only have about 6 hours of flight left. Good night. Good morning. It’s been 56 hours since then, I think. We’ll soon be at, uh, Narita Airport. The water has been blown out. There’s one last, uh, meal. It’s a, uh, snack, or breakfast before we get fitted. Some kind of sandwich has been brought out. Looking at the map, we’re about Nagoya, but we’re pretty close. This is chicken again. All chicken. Chicken sandwich. After all, this seat isn’t really a private room at first glance. It looks shabby, but it’s really long in front and can be fully flat, so it’s great for sleeping. You can sleep upright without having to turn sideways or diagonally. I’ve really recovered my energy. I didn’t wake up even once. Um, until Mr. C woke me up. No, thank goodness. It’s been a while since I’ve slept so well on planes, but even though I was in business class, I was able to sleep soundly this time. We’ve arrived at Narita Airport. Our flight is delayed by over an hour. We were supposed to arrive at 8:30, so it was quite a delay. Well, an hour is within reason. It’s been about two weeks since I’ve been to Japan. It’s been a while since I’ve arrived at Narita Airport . I’ve departed from Narita before, but then my kids were always on the screen, which was a pain. I’m not sure if it’s okay to have kids on the train in class, though. Thank you. So, I’ve arrived at Narita Airport. Ah, the smell of Japan makes me feel at ease. This direct flight is very convenient when flying to Nepal with Nepal Airlines. Night layovers are tough, after all. Like I said before, it was great that I was able to make it without waking up. Wow, that was a lifesaver. So, I arrived at Narita Airport. Well, that’s about it. This was my first time flying Nepal Airlines , and I thought it was incredibly convenient to be able to fly directly from Kathmandu to Tokyo and back to Japan. To be honest, the food and service were just okay. It was a bit disappointing, though. The seat was nice. And it really saved me time, especially since I didn’t have to make a layover. Well, I flew business class this time for 168,000 yen, which was quite pricey. Yes, I tried it . And that’s how I’d like to end this video. If you enjoyed it, please leave your thoughts in the comments, like it, and subscribe . Thank you for watching.

Air Cambodia 🇰🇭 to Japan 🇯🇵 open?
