【4K動画】国重要無形民俗文化財で、湖国三大祭りの一つ「大津祭」が2025年10月12日、本祭を迎えた。祭りのハイライトとなる曳山（ひきやま）巡行が時折小雨が降る中であり、72年ぶりに一番くじを引いた神功皇后（じんぐうこうごう）山など絢爛（けんらん）豪華な13基が大津市内の中心部を進んだ。曳山ごとに日本や中国の故事などにちなんだ「からくり」を披露する「所望（しょうもん）」が市内各所で行われた。
The Otsu Festival, a nationally designated intangible folk cultural asset and one of the three major festivals in Lake Biwa, celebrated its main event on October 12, 2025. The highlight of the festival, the Hikiyama (float) parade, took place amid occasional light rain, with 13 gorgeous floats, including the Jingu Kogoyama float, which was the first to be drawn in 72 years by the Ichiban Kuji lottery, parading through the center of Otsu City. “Shomon” performances, featuring mechanical tricks inspired by historical events in Japan and China, were held throughout the city for each float.
