【超詳細レビュー】大人旅 in 京都|てんこ盛りサービスに感動!?ザ・プリンス 京都宝ヶ池宿泊レビュー
A report on my two-day, one-night stay at The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike. I’m currently traveling in Kyoto and on my way to my hotel for the night. The hotel I’m staying at is The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, located in Takaragaike, Kyoto. I chose this hotel to escape the summer heat. Regarding the hotel’s location, it’s a 20-minute subway ride from Kyoto Station on the Karasuma Line to Kokusaikaikan Station, and an eight-minute walk from Kokusaikaikan Station . I’m currently walking from the ticket gate, but it’s quite a distance. The exit is 4-2, but it’s a long way to the exit. This place is rich in nature. I wanted to splurge a little, so I chose a room with a club lounge. It depends on the season, but the price was also reasonable. Arriving at the hotel, I looked back and saw the Kokusaikaikan. This road is not the route shown on the map. This is the route from here. This route was a shortcut. The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike. It’s a 3-minute walk from Exit 4-2 of Kokusai Kaikan Station on the Karasuma Line. There are 310 rooms. Parking is available (1,500 yen per night). Fitness facilities are available. It’s round. The official name also includes “Autograph Collection,” a hotel brand operated by Marriott International. The parking lot is 1,500 yen for 24 hours after entry for guests. There’s also a tea room, available for guests. Free access is available for tours. Please inquire with the hotel about free morning hours. Let’s go check in. The lobby exudes the elegance and sophistication of Kyoto. This area is the waiting area. There was a yuzen (traditional Kyoto-style) display, and at the back was a souvenir shop. What I particularly wanted to see was this atrium. It was designed by Murano Togo, a master of Japanese architecture. Its delicate and refined aesthetic details are characteristic of Murano. It’s time to head to my room. Security is provided. My room was on the top floor. “You can see Mt. Hiei from your room,” they said, so I’m looking forward to it (^^). Walking through the hallway, you can see the roundness of the hotel. It’s nice to be able to see Mt. Hiei, but it’s a long way to my room . Finally, I arrived. I entered the room. Club Hollywood Twin. Room size: 39.6 m², capacity 1-2 people. Let’s go inside! Wow, this room has a high quality feel . At 39.6 m², it looks like it’s spacious enough for a relaxing stay. The ceiling was also high. This room had individual air conditioning. And the view from this room? When I opened the curtains, a vast green panorama spread out before me. What a magnificent view. Mount Hiei is right in front of me. It can only be seen from rooms on the east side. I could also see the International Conference Center. From here, I’ll introduce the room in more detail. Introducing the facilities. I’ll return to the entrance and introduce them again. There’s a large full-length mirror in the entrance, and next to it is a closet. The closet was very spacious. Inside were bathrobes. Beneath them was a trouser press , a luggage rack, a brush, shoe polish, and a shoehorn. An iron, an ironing board, indoor slippers, and a security deposit box. There’s also a bathroom here. I’ll introduce them all later. Let’s take a look at the sitting area. There’s a cabinet here. Above it is a kettle. There’s a capsule coffee machine. The capsules were from Ogawa Coffee , a long-established coffee shop that originated in Kyoto. There was also a round wooden container. Inside were designer teacups and teapots. So stylish! And below that was a refrigerator. Wow. Everything here is free. There was sparkling wine, too. If you stay on the club floor, you can get sparkling wine. This is the paid zone. Next to it were various items stored there. Plates and silverware. Mugs, tea, green tea, etc. Champagne glasses. A coffee set. Glass cups, and snacks. There was alcohol. This area requires an additional charge. Prices are listed here. There was also an ice bucket. Next to it was a substantial desk with a chair . There was disinfectant spray on the desk. There was a desk lamp. As for the TV, I was able to watch terrestrial digital broadcasts and satellite broadcasts. The Wi-Fi speed was 18Mbps, which was smooth and easy to use. There was a wired LAN outlet and a power outlet, so it looked like I could use a laptop. There was also hotel information. Inside were postcards and letter sets. There was also a drawer with laundry supplies, with storage space underneath. The breakfast room service menu was also available. There was nightwear, which came in separate sets and felt wonderful against my skin. There was a floor lamp in the corner of the room, along with an air purifier and humidifier. It created this ambiance when I turned it on. There was no ceiling lighting, so it was a bit dark at night, but it still had a nice atmosphere. There was also a relaxing area by the window. The sofa cushions were amazing. And on the table was mineral water. There were wet towels provided. On the club floor, welcome sweets were prepared. One set per person. We enjoyed them later. Bed introduction. Bed size: 128cm wide x 208cm long. The bed was very large. Because it was arranged in a Hollywood twin style, it felt even larger. Two pillows were provided: one cotton and one pipe. The comforter was very light. The bed had good cushioning. The mattress was an original Sealy mattress. It supported each part of the body with the necessary resilience, allowing for a relaxing sleep. Behind the bed was a luxurious stone slab, which really elevated the room’s quality . It had a sophisticated, sophisticated feel. There was also a reading light and a light switch. And on the table next to the bed… There was an alarm clock, a memo pad, and a telephone. There was a light. There was an AC power outlet. On the other side, there was a USB outlet. Regarding the bathroom: This room had a unit bath. The basin was very spacious. It seemed to be completely covered with a mirror. The mirror was huge. There was a chair and a scale . There were bath towels, face towels, and hand towels. There was also a small storage compartment. The sink was also nice. Above it were amenities: a cup, face and hand soap, a magnifying mirror, and towels. Amenities included body towels, cotton swabs, cotton balls, a razor, a hairbrush, a toothbrush and toothpaste. There was shaving cream, bath salts, and other items . There was also body lotion and other skincare products. The hair dryer was a Panasonic product, the Ionity series. Let’s take a look at the bathroom. It was a unit bath, but overall it was spacious. As for the bathtub, it was shallow and spacious. I’m 173 cm tall. This is what it looks like when you enter. It’s a hand shower, but with adjustable water flow. The shampoos are from the world-famous Japanese brand, Yayoi. The base is Japanese, with a French fragrance. This is what it looks like when the shower curtain is closed. The toilet is a shower toilet with a bidet. It was very clean. Here’s how it functions. It’s worthy of a club floor. The room was well-equipped. The welcome sweets were high-quality and delicious (^^). It’s about time to head to the lounge. If I go now, I’ll just make it in time for afternoon service. The lounge is on the lobby floor. Before that, I went to the fitness room on the third floor. This is it. It feels like a room in the guest room. There were plenty of machines. There were weights and yoga equipment here. That’s the entrance to the lounge. The lounge had a high-quality Japanese feel. There was a Japanese garden! From here, I could see the pond garden. From here, I’ll move on to the afternoon service. They have coffee and soft drinks. I wonder what the food is like. They have sweets. Scones, bread, and snacks were available. They also had tea and black tea. I only had some sweets (^^). Being hotel-made, the quality was high. Nishikigoi carp were swimming around happily too (^^). Cocktail time began. Let’s take a look at the various options! There was alcohol. Shochu and whiskey. Monin syrup was available. This one. There was a Ichiban Shibori beer server. And then there was the food. This was a continuation of the afternoon menu. There was lasagna and potatoes. Pot-au-feu had been added. It was flavored with Saikyo miso. There was wine on the central table. They also had sake. This was wine. This was the same as the afternoon menu. My wife picked a few things. I thought the selection was a little limited, but it was quite filling. The aroma of miso was lovely! Enjoyed a drink while looking out at the garden (^^). The food was hotel-quality and delicious. The Saikyo miso in this pot-au-feu was especially exceptional. Delicious! The meal overlooking the garden was amazing (^^). Next to the lounge was Bar Ascot. They had happy hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and they offered great deals on drinks. I’m leaving the hotel now to go to an event at Nijo Castle. The souvenir shop looked like this from the outside. It seemed to stock popular Kyoto products. I’ve uploaded a separate video of it, so please take a look if you’re interested. I’ve returned to Kokusaikaikan Station. It looks like I’ll be able to make it in time for a nightcap at the club lounge. It was basically cocktail hour minus the food. They had crackers and cheese. That’s all you need. Delicious. It’s lightly carbonated, so I can drink it all in one go. It’s been a while since I’ve had it. The combination of cheese and crackers is delicious. I went back to my room and enjoyed some sparkling wine. I saved it for the evening (^^). It’s Australian sparkling wine. It’s full of bubbles. Sparkling wine adds a touch of elegance (^^). I’m enjoying this elegant time. Now I’m off to bed. Good morning. I’m off to breakfast in the club lounge now. The morning sun is dazzling. Breakfast starts at 7:00. This is what the courtyard looked like from above. I’ll go back later. This is what the lounge looks like from outside. I’ll wait until it’s time. The garden is nice in the morning too (^^). Let’s take a look at what’s on offer. First off, around here. There’s a row of delicious looking breads. There’s also something like a tiered box. When I opened it, there were little side dishes inside. Next, around here. These are salads. There are desserts too. And miso soup and rice. There’s a clay pot. This is a beef bowl with Kyoto-style beef. Around here there’s Western food. There’s pot-au-feu. There’s a coffee machine and milk. There’s tea and black tea. There are soft drinks in another corner. There’s a coffee machine here too. I got a lot! The food is colorful too (^^). Kyoto-style beef bowl with beef. Eggs Benedict. A tiered box of side dishes. Fried foods and grilled fish. And salad. I ordered miso soup and rice. All the dishes were delicious and of hotel quality. The flavor was great! Covered in meat. It had some fat but was light. This set was purely Japanese and delicious. The beef bowl was similar to sukiyaki. I also ordered bread . Since it’s hotel bread, I had high expectations (^^). The croissant was flaky and chewy on the inside, making it a high-quality croissant. As you’d expect from a Prince Hotel. We also had dessert. I wish they’d tried a little harder… We finished with coffee. It was delicious while looking out at the garden. You can also use the “Ito Sakura” (Ito Sakura) room for an additional fee. It’s a Japanese-Western buffet. Let’s go see the courtyard. The hotel is circular, and the center is open as a courtyard. There’s a grassy area in the middle. There are chairs, so it looks like a great place to relax. Apparently, the cherry blossoms are lit up in the spring. Surrounded by hotels, it was a very quiet place. It’s almost time to check out, so we head back to our room. It’s a bit sad, but we’ll check out. Check out. How was it? It’s located in the nature-rich area of Rakuhoku, a little outside the city center. It was quiet and relaxing during my stay. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed on the club floor. I was able to experience the luxury and tranquility that a hotel should have. There were also welcome sweets and sparkling wine. They also provided room service. It felt even more luxurious (^^). This was a space I’d want to return to. Thank you for watching this far. See you in the next video! .
