Hiroshima Airport to Shimanami Kaido, direct in less than an hour! | 直行便で約50分！広島空港からしまなみ海道へ
[Music] I just arrived at Hiroshima airport. This time I’m not going to Hiroshima City or Miaima. I’m actually going straight to Shima Nami Kaido. Hiroshima airport is located in the middle of the mountains, but you can use the Onamichi Airport Liner service to get directly to Onamichi in less than an hour. I booked my ticket online before I got on my flight this morning. The operating area is between Hiroshima Airport and Anamichi Station. [Music] Ride reservations can be made online or by phone. Online is highly recommended as it is available in English. Passengers going to or leaving from Anamichi Station and Hiroshima Airport can reserve right up until departure time. If you wish to be picked up or dropped off at other stops within Anamichi, please reserve at least 3 hours before departure. Make your reservation here. 12 services per operating day, consisting of six round trips. [Applause] [Music] The Anamichi airport liner costs 4,000 yen one way. It takes approximately 50 minutes to travel between Hiroshima airport and Onamichi. [Music] [Music] So, it’s my first time cycling on the Shimanami Kaido, and I have to say I’m pretty excited. The shuttle service drop off right in front of the new rental cycle terminal just next to Onomichi station. You get out of the car and look just to your left and there it is. [Music] Thank you. I’m not sure of the way, but I’ve been following this handy blue line, so it’s been super easy. [Music] Wake up. Okay. [Music] The views here are just breathtaking. There are loads of great things to do around here. And this is exactly the type of spot I was looking for. [Music] [Music] It’s hard to believe that just a few hours ago I was in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and now I’m in the Shiman Nami Kaido. I’ll definitely be back again, especially because I know it’s so easy to get here from Hiroshima airport. [Music]
