【満開の蓮の花！蓮池公園/ 牧野公園の夏の山野草, 高知】Gorgeous lotus flowers of Hasuike Park/ Makino Park, Shikoku Japan
Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We visit Hasuike Park and Makino Park in Kochi Prefecture to see lotus flowers and seasonal flowers. The weather is expected to be better in the afternoon. From Sagawa Town in Kochi Prefecture, take Prefectural Road 53 to Tosa City. Some sections are narrow. Arrival at Hasuike Park in Tosa City. Parking at Hasuike Community Center. The 3,700 m² pond is filled with blooming lotus flowers. Local residents have been maintaining the pond for about 25 years. They are blooming beautifully. There is a wooden walkway where we can take a stroll. Lotus flowers open in the morning and close in the afternoon. They open and close repeatedly, and scatter in 3-4 days. Pink flowers look nice against the blue sky. Take a look under. Japanese Killifish? The half-open flowers are also lovely. There are lots of buds, so we’ll be able to enjoy them for a while longer. Looking down on the pond from above. Dragonfly! Double-flowered lotuses are also planted in this park. The double-flowered lotuses are planted in the southwestern area of the park. It’s the rich pond where many kinds of dragonflies fly around. Let’s leave Hasuike Park. We arrived in Sakawa Town, the birthplace of botanist Dr. Tomitaro Makino. It is a charming town with traces of its history as a castle town. We’ll have lunch at this old folk house café. It’s a facility renovated from the residence of the Hamaguchi family, who ran a sake brewery. A relaxing space facing the courtyard. Toasted sandwich and iced coffee, let’s enjoy! We are heading to Makino Park. Makino Park began with the planting of cherry tree seedlings donated by Dr. Makino, and has been developed since then. It is famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot, and we can enjoy seasonal wildflowers throughout the year. They are blooming throughout the park. Bust of Dr. Makino. It’s Monomi iwa (rock) near the summit. From here, we can see the entire town of Sakawa. Let’s go down at a slow pace. Bright red flowers. Cool-looking ferns. Let’s leave Makino Park. こんにちは、Life in Shikoku です。高知県の蓮池公園と牧野公園に、ハスの花や季節の花を見に行きました。まず、土佐市の蓮池公園へ。広さ3700㎡の池一面に、ハスの花が咲き誇っています。約25年前から、地元の方たちが手入れを行っているそうです。ハスは午前中しか咲かないので、午前10時前に到着しました。見頃のハスがたくさんあって、とても美しかったです。たくさんのトンボがとびかう、豊かな自然環境が作られていました。
次に、佐川町へ。佐川町は、植物学者・牧野富太郎博士の生誕地で、城下町の面影が残る、趣のある町です。古民家カフェでランチを食べ、牧野公園へ向かいます。牧野公園は、牧野博士が贈ったソメイヨシノの苗を植えたことから始まり、整備されてきました。桜の名所として有名で、四季折々の山野草が楽しめます。アジサイは少ししか残っていませんでしたが、ユリや他の山野草を楽しみました。この風景を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。
Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We went to Hasuike Park and Makino Park in Kochi Prefecture to see lotus flowers and seasonal flowers. First, we went to Hasuike Park in Tosa City. The pond, spanning 3,700 square meters, is covered with blooming lotus flowers. Local residents have been maintaining the park for about 25 years. Since lotus flowers only bloom in the morning, we arrived before 10 a.m. There were many lotus flowers in full bloom, and they were truly beautiful. The area was rich in natural surroundings, with numerous dragonflies fluttering about.
Next, we went to Sakawa Town. Sakawa Town is the birthplace of botanist Dr. Tomitaro Makino and is a charming town that retains the atmosphere of a castle town. We had lunch at an old folk house café and then walked to Makino Park. Makino Park began with the planting of cherry tree seedlings donated by Dr. Makino and has been developed since then. It is famous as a cherry blossom spot and offers a variety of seasonal wildflowers to enjoy. Although there were only a few hydrangeas left, we enjoyed lilies and other wildflowers. Hasuike Garden, taman di Kuil Hase-dera di Kamakura, Jepang, yang memiliki taman yang indah dan selalu berbunga sepanjang tahun dan bertujuan untuk menjadi Tanah Suci bagi pengunjung.
