【佐渡島観光】島の最北端へ!佐渡島のグルメと観光を巡るドライブ旅行で最北端へ!佐渡島旅行vlog|二ツ亀
Good morning! This is bien. I’m currently on Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture . This morning, I’m heading to the northernmost area. I devoured a delicious lunch that felt like the end of the world, with the best value for money, and refreshed myself in a surprisingly unknown hot spring with a sauna. I thoroughly enjoyed Sado Island until the very end. Please watch until the end. Good morning . Our trip to Sado Island has already reached the last day. It’s already the third day. It really goes by so quickly. Today , I’m heading to the northernmost area of Sado Island from the morning, so I set off . At 6am , the traffic lights were already off and the crosswalks were like another world ! 帰りました。 English: I found a fish shop here. I had lunch at a local supermarket and dinner twice this time, but I was full just from that. I wanted to go to a local supermarket or fish shop. I should have looked for a fish shop. Sado Island before 7am. The atmosphere is nice . It doesn’t feel like an island. The design is what you’d expect from the largest remote island in Japan. It’s 42km from here to our destination , which is apparently about an hour and a half. If we go left, we’ll reach the O-Sado Skyline. We climbed up and down the O-Sado Skyline and it was quite an incredible drive (quite tough lol) . We’ve gone a little further and are now at 31km . Just a little while longer. Is this going straight? Yesterday I drove along the coast on the west side of Sado Island, and the day before yesterday I was on the south side , so this is my first time coming this far north. It was actually quite dangerous this time. You’re probably heavy right now, so the initial speed is slow. The scenery here is amazing too. It looks different from yesterday’s . I came out onto the road along the coast . Amazing. Is this somewhere between Ryotsu Port and the northernmost point of Sado Island? The road along the coast here is also nice, amazing . All you can see on your right is the sea. It ‘s 24km to my destination , I think it’s about 20km along the coast all the way. Prefectural Route 45. I’ve got 18km to my destination, and it seems to go in and out along the coast. There are definitely no convenience stores and the views are even better on this side . From around Ryotsu Port to the middle of the northernmost point, the road is wide and easy to drive, and the views were great too . I’m crossing a bridge. I wonder what bridge this is? It seems to be called the Kurohime Bridge . Oh, there are tunnels too. Wow, it’s nice. It’s a pleasant morning drive. I’m entering a tunnel. I can’t read it . It’s called the Utsumi Tunnel. Amazing! What’s that? I think this is the first time I’ve been through a downhill tunnel like this. Amazing , it’s kind of scary. The feeling of going down. The sea from the tunnel. Oh , it’s so bright. Ah, the lanes get a little narrower here . I wonder if it’ll be a tough road if an oncoming car comes from here. It’s nice to have a kei car at a time like this because it’s easy to pass other cars . The scenery is really nice . Wow , it’ll be scary if an oncoming car comes . So we’re coming out onto a road like this . I wonder if the roads are narrow all the way to the northernmost point! The tunnel from Shokudo Benten , where the restaurant is located, looks like this. The road was surprisingly rough. It’s along the sea, so I thought it would be a straight road all the way, but it’s only 8km to my destination and it feels like it starts to climb from here . There’s construction going on around here, I wonder if a new road is going to be built. It suddenly looks beautiful here and there, and then it feels like it’s going down again, and then the road narrows again , quite narrow. It’s not that it’s empty, and even when you think there won’t be any oncoming traffic, sometimes they do, so it can suddenly get quite nerve-wracking. I wonder if I’m almost there. The last 3km is like this, with the lanes separated and it looks like it will be easy to drive. I found a sign with two turtles , and finally, with only 400m left, I arrived. There it was, the sign, on the right Once you enter, you’ve arrived. There’s a parking lot nearby and you just have to walk from there, so you’ve arrived (it was a long way). You’re currently at the parking lot, so it’s quite a walk.It ‘s 200m from here to the viewpoint.I’m not sure if this is the right road, but it’s a narrow road, or rather a road that looks like it’s on someone’s property.Wow , you can almost see the ocean.Oh , I wonder if we’ll go down from here. The weather’s a bit iffy but it doesn’t look like it’s going to rain, so that ‘s good. You’ll be going down a road like this. There don’t seem to be any bees or anything. You should be careful of bees in the area we visited yesterday.Wow ! It’s a bee lol it’s a bee Oh no there was actually a bee I’m not wearing black clothes so I’m sure it’ll be okay There might be spider webs or something so I’ll be guarding with this selfie stick as I go I go down really low The path was a bit surprising with bees and spider webs on the way but I wonder what it is I’ve come out into a plaza It gives you a great sense of openness There’s also a toilet at the back of the plaza It’s perfect for a morning walk I hadn’t checked at all at this time but I wonder if it’s low tide now These two turtles are amazing It reminds me of Chiririn Road in Ibusuki, Kagoshima Prefecture which I went to a while ago Or maybe Angel Road on Shodoshima Island Does the path only appear at low tide ? That’s how it feels. It’s not low tide now, so the water is coming in a bit , but there is a faint path . There are lots of amazing signs. Hokkaido is 577km from here, Osaka is 485km, Tokyo is 311km , Noto Peninsula is 137km , Awashima is 63km , Futatsukame and Ono Kame are listed with two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan. It’s even more impressive to see with your own eyes. I guess the best thing to do is get up early in the morning and take a walk here. Is there something about this place? Is it impossible to land ? Is there a road? Is there a view spot over there? It’s great. What is this road over here? Can I get there from here ? I saw a road like this from the parking lot to the campsite earlier, so I wonder if it connects to this road? Does it connect to this road? So maybe it’s less steep if I go from here? I’m tired. Ah, is there a beehive? I was really chasing them , I ran away, ah, I’m back safely, tired. Next is Onogame, Onogame parking lot . I’ll take a walk around Onogame, then Onogame. So, I continued on to Onogame, and arrived at Onogame. Is this a climbing spot? Ah! Is there someone climbing? Oh , that person , they’re gone. It looked like someone was walking just now, but it continues all the way there. I don’t have the equipment for climbing, so I think I’ll just look at the scenery . I’m here now, and there’s a torii gate, and that torii gate is over there, so this is the route. It ‘s not like it’s an observation deck or a view spot or anything, but rather just a walking path. Maybe I should go a little further to the seaside. The view is amazing, I was surprised , what is this? In conclusion, nature! The number of bugs is insane! I have no idea if this is the right path or not There is a promenade that continues along the seashore so I have to take in the view from there and then head back towards Ryotsu Port I have a quick look around and then head to the next spot Bees are scary Broom hornets don’t run away at all If I approach slowly they run away I have walked quite a distance That is the parking lot and I have walked quite a distance Ah , amazing , it’s worth all the effort From here I will go down a bit again and follow the road along the sea Well, this is enough ら見てくださ い lol There were also several mysterious grasshoppers that looked like cockroaches There was one car parked there so I wondered if someone had climbed up there Did they climb all the way up there? It’s not like an observation deck so I wonder if it’s possible to see from a high vantage point It seems like the view would be amazing if you could climb up there Oh wow this side is amazing too Wow there were a few bees at the place we were at earlier which was amazing It’s just nature all around Nature spreads out here This side is also amazing Shall we go back to the parking lot Are they connected? At first glance it doesn’t look like the roads are connected Wow It’s scary It’s really narrow The road is quite narrow but we managed to get through I can see it clearly There are two roads here If we turn left this way I wonder if we’ll reach the torii gate we were at earlier Can we go back from this way What an amazing view A wonderful view spreads out before Sado Island is the best Nice If you speak loudly There’s a theory that yelling louder will make the bees run away rather than using a selfie stick The view along the sea over there is also wonderful Are the roads connected? The road is kind of narrow. The road is rougher than before. Good, I found a path ! A big ant is carrying something . It’s carrying something. It’s not a grasshopper’s leg. It’s so strong, carrying something bigger than its own body with its jaws (apparently it can carry several to several tens of times its body weight). Oh, a torii gate. I feel like I’ve returned from another world. It was a short time, but it was fun. I didn’t have much time for sightseeing. Actually, I woke up early for the return boat today , so it feels like I’ve come to the northernmost area early in the morning . If you like walking, the view from Onogame is better. However, if you don’t like bugs, it might be a problem. There are a few roads that I hesitated to take. I have a lunch reservation near Ryotsu Port, so I’ll head back towards the port. If you like driving and walking, this northernmost area is a good choice. If you have time in your schedule, go counterclockwise from the northernmost area and head south along the west coast. What was it again? I think it would be a good idea to go from Senkaku Bay and that area , then go south to the Sado Gold Mine and do some sightseeing, and then go to an area with a hotel and stay the night. If you’re going for two nights and three days, or three nights and four days, you should go to the eastern area . There were some places that caught my eye, but personally I think the west side was the easiest to drive on and the scenery was nice too.The scenery on the west side of Sado Island was great, but looking back at the video now, the scenery around here was also great. We’re just over 10km to Ryotsu Port. The sun is shining and the scenery along the coast is brighter and more beautiful now than it was on the way there. It feels like the journey is coming to an end, but it’s still morning and it’s not even 10am yet. We’ve returned to the point where we’ve only got 2.6km to go.I think this is the shopping street , so if I go straight I have some time before opening time so I’ll go to the observation deck before dinner. There ‘s an amazing doll statue. If I go to the left I’ll reach the harbor.I wonder if there’s an observation deck up ahead ?
I can see it !It’s quite a spectacular view. This is amazing! The view is great! At night it’s lit up and you can see fireflies . Those rafts are used for cultivating oysters. It’s quite a view. I enter the road next to the shrine (main hall?) (the parking space is far away). The mountains in the background and the rafts where the oysters are cultivated are a truly mysterious sight. I have a reservation at a restaurant for lunch at 11 o’clock, and they open at 11, so I still have some time, so I wander around the area. I ‘m feeling a bit down, the weather is good, and I wonder if the shop is connected from inside. There’s also a cafe. There is a cafe, but I wonder if it’s open yet. It opens at this time. Ryotsu Port Let’s buy some Sado butter! On the first floor, there is a cafe and a restaurant. Next, it’s lunchtime . I’m hungry , so I’ll enjoy a seafood lunch at this restaurant. Ordering is done by mobile order from your smartphone. We each ordered a lunch set, and I was curious so I ordered gyoza too . To my surprise, it was gyoza. The gyoza were delicious, so I recommend it. The sashimi set meal has arrived. It ‘s absolutely gorgeous. It looks delicious. Yellowtail/sea bream/turban shell/black porgy/red snapper. They look good. I wonder if I’ll get a piece later . This sea bream sashimi set meal was also good, but it was even more delicious than the silver salmon bowl . The sashimi was also delicious. It was extremely fresh and the meat was crunchy. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal . By the way, it got really crowded after 11 o’clock, so I recommend making a reservation in advance . Next, for cafe time after the meal, we went to a restaurant near Ryotsu Port. The dessert after the meal seemed to melt very quickly. I think this restaurant is not just a cafe, but a great place (they also have bicycle rentals) . After a delicious lunch, we had cafe au lait and ice cream, and then we stopped here for a break. I say goodbye to my partner and send him off to the ferry. I’m heading back to Niigata Port on the ferry before 5pm , so considering the time to return the rental car, it will take just over 3 hours. During those 3 hours, there is a hot spring about 20 minutes away, so I guess I’ll go to Tokinomori Park, which is fairly close by, so I guess I’ll go there and then come back here. Good work, today I’ll be saying goodbye to the idyllic rural scenery. When you’re on a road trip, it’s fun to see these kinds of rural landscapes as a single road, or rather, this straight road and road along the sea . Apparently the hot spring is about 3km away . I went in on a side street and saw the reviews that said there was a sauna and cold bath, so that was enough to decide to come here, so to be honest I don’t really know much about it, but it looked pretty good. The sashimi I had for lunch was also delicious. It had no odor and was delicious, but that Sado silver salmon? The silver salmon was really delicious, but there was a conveyor belt sushi restaurant called Maruishi that I went to for lunch yesterday and the day before , and there they didn’t have anything called Sado Silver Salmon or Sado Salmon in the product name.It just said salmon, and on Sado Island, salmon = Sado Silver Salmon? (I should have asked, haha) Also, when I went to Kotobuki Sushi in April for sightseeing in Niigata , I had Sado Silver Salmon.I wonder if it depends on the season?I think it was when it was a little colder, as it was my first time.As I entered, there was a sign.It was so cool, I felt like I was back home, the road was like a nostalgic scenery. The right side is amazing , so colorful. It seems to read “Ibokatagami Onsen” Is it crowded? The parking lot is huge and there’s a bus stop too, and you can get there by bus.I’ve arrived, so I’m going to refresh myself in the sauna and hot springs. As expected , the end of a trip is back, so I’m back.Saunas are great, aren’t they? The sauna was about 90 degrees, which was a nice temperature, and lukewarm. The cold bath was 2020 degrees? It said 24 degrees, but I think it was a little over 20 degrees. The hot spring was about 42 degrees , and there was a sauna and cold bath, but no chairs. But it was pretty good, and I felt refreshed (probably because it was only for locals). Wow, that was good . I don’t know how long it takes to get from the hot spring to Toki no Mori Park, but according to reviews it seems like it’s far away. There were various reviews saying that it takes a while to get to each facility, that it’s far away, and that it’s difficult to find the locations . I wonder what it’s like. There is actually a sign. Tokinomori Park. I don’t understand the intonation. When I arrived , it was really crowded. It was quite crowded, so I went. The admission fee was 500 yen per adult. I arrived at the exhibition hall. It seems that the main reason the Japanese crested ibis became extinct was because of hunting. Its name seems to be Sadoki. I went further in, but it was quite far from here, so I wanted to go and observe the next facility. Its body is black from the neck up, and it has a very strange appearance. It is about a 2-3 minute walk from the museum to the Fureai Plaza . It took less than five minutes, and it was amazing ! We arrived at the Fureai Plaza, which had some kind of rock formation. If you’re lucky, you can see the Japanese crested ibis up close. Just as we entered, a Japanese crested ibis walked right up to us. Its face was so red! It’s a truly unique sight. There were no other tourists around, so I was alone, staring blankly in silence. Apparently it eats animal food. Perhaps it’s rare for it to come so close to you? There is also a place on the second floor where you can use binoculars. So we were able to see the sights without a hitch. It was quite close, and I was glad to be able to see the Japanese crested ibis right in front of me . Sometimes it comes near the window, but it goes really far away, so it seems like you have to zoom in with your camera to see it. I guess you could say it’s on weekdays or during quiet times, but you can hear it talking. It was a quiet scene, but the moment the staff member said thank you, the crested ibis seemed a little startled and walked off into the distance, so it ended up on a rice field path. Let’s go back to Tokyo with this wonderful view. We returned the rental car and returned safely. We then went to a restaurant called Saredo Onigiri on the first floor of Ryotsu Port and ate some before heading back to Tokyo. It felt a bit unsatisfying, or rather, after eating the onigiri, I actually got a little hungry, so I had some more with Sado Dairy Coffee, which went perfectly with it. It was incredibly delicious, and so my first ever three-day, two-night trip to Sado Island ended in a flash. We ate lots of delicious food and saw lots of beautiful scenery, it was truly amazing, and please subscribe and rate this channel again ! Thank you for watching !
