「前沢宿03」- 奥州街道85番宿場 陸中国胆沢郡 – 岩手県奥州市

Maesawa-juku Stroll We are on a walk following the second part.
We are heading for “Maezawa Station.” Across the Northeast Main Line, National Route 4 is located on the east side, lined with large stores. Return to the inn town. We are now back at Masugata.

It is called the “Daikou Residence” because the first four heads of the family took the name Kozo, and the fifth continues as Kogoro. It was built in 1910 by the fifth head of the family, Kogoro V, as a way to invest his private fortune in the local economy in the midst of the recession after the Russo-Japanese War, and the bad harvest and hard times.
It is so magnificent that some people use it as their “main camp. There is a road leading to the Maesawa General Branch Office of Oshu City from the back of the mansion. From this area, you will enter Shinmachi. On the left, you can see the approach to Kumano Shrine.
Is it a shrine on the north side of the inn town? I will go there. The details of Kumano Shrine are unknown, but it is enshrined as the most important shrine in the region, and was moved to this location in 1668.
The deities enshrined at the shrine are Izanagi no Mikoto and Izanami no Mikoto. Kumano Shrine I would like to close the third part with Kokorabe.
