Walking Around Nara at Night: From Kintetsu Nara Station to Sanjo-dori

I set out on a journey to Kansai to visit my family home in Kobe. Along the way, I planned to stop in several towns as I traveled west, and on the return trip, I would visit other places that caught my interest before heading back to the Tokyo area.

From Shizuoka, I passed through Aichi and Mie Prefectures before arriving in Nara. It had been a while since I last walked around the area near Kintetsu Nara Station. Recently, the city has been in the news regarding its deer, but at night the crowds of tourists are gone, and the downtown area becomes quiet and easy to enjoy.

While walking along Sanjō-dōri, I was even surprised to come across a deer rummaging through a trash can.
