either way this is a cheat code to status I’m going to be real with you hitting status with American Airlines in less than 90 days is totally doable 40,000 loyalty points may seem like a lot but I’m going to show you how you can hit this Mark quickly and do so without even stepping on a plane and do so in possibly less than a week well why would you want to do that maybe you have trips planned the second half of the year or maybe your job’s going to require you to travel a good bit more and you want to make sure you get those main cabin extra seats those free check bags the possibility of an upgrade or two also when it comes to the value of those miles that you’ll earn along the way American Airlines is by far the best of the big four United Delta and Southwest included for the upside of those domestic redemptions and at the same time the value that you can find for some of the One World Alliance partners for those big International redemptions so stick around I’m going to show you some specific examples that you can use and possibly some destinations that you may want to visit my name is Bo and I focus on strategies that any individual or family can deploy point maximization point stacking strategies and of course those travel related benefits so that when we do travel our experience is just that much better now I’ve held gold status or higher with American Airlines for the last eight years in most of those years I’ve done so the old-fashioned way earning miles for paid flights but with the evolution of Airline status programs and the rise of these credit card ecosystems with the airlines I’m going to show you how you can earn that same level of status or higher in half the time or even quicker and do me a favor click those buttons down below if you get any value out of this content and make sure you take advantage of my American Airlines co-branded card referral links down below if that’ll help you out for anyone unfamiliar miles are the currency in which we use to redeem for flights or hotels through American Airlines whereas loyalty points are all about status these loyalty points can’t be redeemed but when you hit certain thresholds you do get specific rewards the more loyalty points you earn the more privileges you get and this can be in the form of better boarding priority loyalty Point bonuses better seat upgrade Windows and things like rental car status now American Airlines has four different published levels of status from gold all the way up to Executive platinum and these range from 40,000 loyalty points up to 200,000 loyalty points so this specific strategy is the quickest way to earn a large sum of miles and loyalty points and fly by gold status in no time and you may hear me interchange miles and loyalty points throughout this video for the sake of this discussion they are interchangeable and one mile equals one loyalty point now with that out of the way there are countless methods in which you can book a hotel from hotel specific websites credit card travel portals Airline ecosystems and thirdparty sites like hotels.com and Expedia now this specific strategy is for those that are more of free agents but I do consider myself a bit of a Marriott loyalist I did earn titanium Elite status in 2024 with Marriott along with using the AA hotels portal for for multiple hotel stays also the value of the miles that you’re going to earn here by booking a hotel or two in this specific portal and the loyalty points in the pathway towards status with AA will outweigh any sort of lower level status that you’re chasing with another hotel chain especially since there’s a number of co-branded Hotel cards that will grant you a midlevel or premium tier level of status with those hotels whereas with the airlines there’s no co-branded C that’s going to get you any sort of level of status and even though you cannot include your hotel loyalty number at the time of the booking in AA hotels I have multiple use cases where I’ve been able to add both my Marriot and my Hilton loyalty number for stays that I’ve used within this portal I’ve also done so successfully with Delta stays and the Capital One travel portal so make sure when you’re checking into the hotel or if you want to call the hotel ahead of time that you ask them to add your hotel loyalty number especially with some of the benefits and credits that come with that okay so let’s look at a few different examples so you want to head to Tampa in January for the kids Gasparilla Parade now if you’re unfamiliar with gasp Barilla do yourself a favor after this Google Gasparilla and Tampa you’ll see probably more of the day parade the adults version that takes place which is similar to Migra and the events happen from mid January all the way into March there’s a few different parades two day parades one that’s more for families a night parade which is pretty crazy in ebore city and Tampa but because of this event and the hundreds of thousands of people that flocked to the City the rates for the hotels tend to Skyrocket that being said I found some really good rates through downtown Tampa which is more than likely where you would want to be and the hotel floor Tampa which is a Hilton property downtown really convenient location has a rate of $3.99 per night but check this out in terms of the miles and loyalty points that you would earn for a two night stay we’re talking a base of 15,000 mil and 15,000 loyalty points in two nights way better in terms of the Redemption that you would get for any paid flights and with this hotel specifically and with these dates you’ll find that there are some elevated bonuses that you can earn additional miles and loyalty points and another point there if you do have the city executive card or the platinum card from City and American Airlines you’re going to earn the additional base miles and loyalty points by spending on the card and also if you hold a different level of status with American Airlines like Platinum Platinum Pro those are going to give you a 30% boost on your base miles and loyalty points earned if you have gold status it’s 20% so the higher up in status you get the more of a bonus that you’re going to see on the base miles and loyalty points or if you want to wait until the new American Airlines status season kicks off which is March 1st and a trip around spring break is on the horizon or you’re looking to finalize plans there Cancun is a very popular destination the Royal Solaris is a really affordable all-inclusive familyfriendly property now check out these different rates and the base miles and loyalty points you would earn for for just three nights here now you can see this one and it has fluctuated a few times so around 18,000 mil and loyalty points for a three night stay at this property and a pretty affordable rate at that for a free cancellation rate now from my experience over the last few years using this AA hotels portal I would recommend a Max three night stay for one specific reservation otherwise break that up to a few different reservations for the same stay if that makes sense just so you can maximize the points and the miles that you’re going to earn typically it’s around 15,000 Max miles that you’re going to earn whether that’s 2 three four nights so here’s an idea of how you could break up a stay at the Royal Solaris same room type same free cancellation rate Etc where you can maximize the earning potential and before I give this specific example here just know that this is a strategy that I’m deploying in 2025 to FastTrack my way to gold and platinum and platinum Pro status so that being said what I would do is book the 19th to the 21st at this Royal Solaris this free cancellation rate and here’s the miles and the loyalty points that you’re going to earn for those two nights and then I would book that same room type the same free cancellation rate from the 21st to the 23rd so two more nights where you’re going to essentially double the amount of miles and loyalty points that you’ve earned so far so now we’re north of 32,000 mil and loyalty points for four nights but we’re not done yet so one more night here this would make it five nights which is a perfect amount of time to spend in Cancun I can tell you from my experience experience the 23rd to the 24th you’re going to earn over 8,000 m in loyalty points for this one night so yeah in theory you could look at booking this five different individual nights and you may be able to earn a few additional points or miles here but save yourself the headache and you could break this up over two or three chunks like I’m doing here and with that five nights at this property you can calculate what the total spend would be so less than $2,000 for the five nights familyfriendly all-inclusive you’re going to be north of 40,000 m loyalty points so you would achieve gold status in record time and I realize you may not have status with American Airlines now so maybe you earn a few less Bas miles and loyalty points here worst case scenario you’re going to be north of 75% of the way to Gold status just based on this one stay five nights at this property and hey if you want to combine that with the example I gave earlier for the kids Gasparilla coming to Tampa for a couple days and you’re fast tracking your way to Platinum Status and with the example I gave with the Royal Solaris and King there’s a ton of other properties including the all-inclusive Marriott that we stayed at last year beautiful property a few of the restaurants weren’t even open yet when we stayed there I’ve heard nothing but good things since you could find tons of different Publications about that Marriott on- inclusive looks like they have a couple more properties on the horizon there’s some others on here if you don’t like the all-inclusives I totally get it so just check out this portal and I realized there’s other portals that you could use so this is where you need to make sure you’re spending your time wisely but if you’re looking to get fast track with status with American Airlines this is a great very simple way to get there and these are strategies that I leverage and you can see here between my hotel bookings in 2024 from Key West to a station at the beaches here outside of Tampa to a hotel in Amsterdam I’ve used this portal a couple of different ways and I plan to do so here more in early 2025 and you can see here in my American Airlines account the base miles and loyalty points plus the bonus that I earned for either being platinum or platinum Pro at the time north of 20,000 mi in loyalty points that I earned from three different hotel reservations so if you want more strategies on how to achieve status with American Airlines and the credit cards that are going to get you there make sure you check out this video and I’ll see you there cheers

Great video. Very informative. How do you find the minimum day(s) needed for the advertised miles?
So if you book a Hyatt through the AA website do you still get to give your Hyatt number and get your Hyatt status and Hyatt points for that stay?
Can you only do this with American Airlines, and do you have to use the aa advantage card for the booking? I have the aa advantage business card. Thanks . Great work
Great advice on status. I live in FL also. New Sub
I was told by an AA representative that you don't earn loyalty points from the bonus miles when you book aa hotels. You only earn loyalty points on the actual dollars spent when booking aa hotels. I'm confused.
Do I need to have a credit card to earn the hotel LPs? It says “for AA credit card holders and status holders”
This strategy only works if you already have high status and also have their credit card, otherwise you only get a fraction of those mileage.
So I must have the aa credit card ? I am not usa citizen … any suggestions
AWESOME video!!! Does this strategy require you to have one of the AA cards?
Can I use any of the AA cards for this? Or must I use the exec one?
A lot of false information in this video:
-The 20% & 30% loyalty point bonus has nothing to do with status as you mention. The 20% bonus is achieved by reaching 60,000 loyalty points, while the 30% bonus is achieved by reaching 100,000 loyalty points. Further, these bonuses are for loyalty points only, not also miles, as you state. You mention this many times in your videos, but it's not correct.
-CLT Admirals Club has been open for almost two years
-It's disingenuous to count the TSA/Global Entry credit against the Executive Card's annual fee when it only applies once every 4 or 5 years
-10,000 Loyalty Points can be earned by ~$900-$2,000 spend on AA flights, not the $1,500-$2,500 you mention
-You imply the AA Executive card earns more miles and loyalty points as you gain higher status. This is false – you will always earn 4x miles on AA flights and 10x miles on AA Hotels and Cars, regardless of status. Your miles and loyalty point earnings will increase with higher status (for paid flights only, not all spending in the AA ecosystem, as you state), but this has nothing to do with the Executive credit card, as you imply.
-You show a graphic for the AA Executive card out of context – if you spend $150,000+ on your card, you will earn 5x miles instead of 4x. This is separate from the 5 miles per dollar earned by members (more if they have status) on their fare.
-Miles and loyalty points earned from AA Dining caps at 5x, not more, as you suggest.
You can only see those elevated bonuses once you have status. If you're starting from zero, the earn rate won't be anywhere near those numbers.
What is status ? I’m looking to get the platinum card
Not directly related but got me looking into AA executive card and AA status. Flying Blue does a status match of AA platinum to Fly blue Gold, Which is a MUCH quicker way to achieve that international status.
Great video!!
Extremely Informative!
Question. I am AAdanvagte card holder with status. Do I need to use AA card in order for me to receive those bumped up miles? Or can I use other cards to pay for the reservation? I have some cards that come with travel credits that I want to get rid of. I know I earn even more loyalty points on top of what they offer if I use AA cards but just wondering if that is a requirement. Thanks Beau!
INACCURATE INFORMATION (deceptive for clicks or just uniformed?) This is called "how to get airline status FAST (7 days or less)." Assuming that this is meant for guys like me who don't have status but want status (got me to click, so I guess his title worked). His emphasis on getting big Loyalty Points is clearly through booking hotels. However, when I went to the exact hotel "Royal Solaris, Cancun" it only shows me getting 1700 miles, not 15,000 miles. Turns out you have to already be at Platinum Pro level to get the bigtime points (not exactly the implication in the title). The rich get richer. Glad my click could get you the money you are after on this platform. One thing your points can't buy you is integrity, I guess.
Long useless ad, bro you've added no value to your fellow man. Useless content, useless human.
So I am diamond with hilton, and stay 25 nights a year or more. This is interesting in that I could just book a few work nights at a hotel through AA portal w/ the aspire card, still get some points with hilton (but not all) and parlay the AA points in to status there.. interesting
Where is the AA hotel portal? How do I access it
This was the first video to help me understand the difference between miles and loyalty points. Thanks for explaining that to us newbies! If I book through AA hotels but I have to cancel, do I lose the miles & points I got from the booking? Thanks again!
Loyalty, not loyality
Good information. So I have Hertz President"s Club status via my AMEX card. Can I book a Hertz car via the AA website and what are the ramifications? Looks like the AA site just links you to the Hertz site.
