This time, I will introduce the hotel “Hotel Mikazuki Fujimitei” located in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture. Hotel Mikazuki is a familiar name in the Kanto area for a long time. I will give an honest review of my stay there. I hope this review will be helpful for you when choosing a hotel. “Ryugujo Spa Hotel Mikazuki” Fujimitei is about a 40-minute drive from the city center, and a free shuttle bus operates from Kisarazu Station and Kisarazu Kaneda Bus Terminal. On the premises is the sister hotel Ryugu-tei, and the Spa Ryugujo, which is available for day use. Now, let’s check in. The lobby is large and open, and has a somewhat bubbly atmosphere. The lounge is extremely spacious, and there was also a welcome drink . Wine, coffee, tea, and orange juice are available. By the way, Fujimitei has a club room that is one level above the rest, and guests can receive various VIP treatment. Now, as a commoner, I head to my regular room. There is no in-house wear in the rooms, so you can pick one up next to the front desk. Today’s room is a standard Western-style twin room, and there was a bedroom at the back . All rooms at Fujimitei have a semi-open-air bath, and it’s nice to be able to see the ocean from the bathroom . I looked out the window on the balcony side. When opened, it becomes a semi-open-air bath, but to be honest , even when I opened the window, no breeze could get through, so it didn’t feel like an open-air bath at all. Also, unfortunately, the water is not hot spring water (bath salts were provided). I was looking forward to an open-air bath in the guest room, so this was disappointing. There is a washbasin in front of the bathroom. All guest rooms have a terrace. Fujimitei has a large public bath with a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay . Considering the capacity of the hotel, the large public bath is quite small, but the view was excellent and I was able to bathe comfortably. By the way, on the day of my stay, the hot springs and pool in the spa building were available for free. It was crowded with families with children using the pool . However, the facilities in the spa building themselves are quite old, and in my personal opinion, I can’t say that I would recommend them. If you have children, they can play in the pool, so it may be good for having fun with them. Before you know it , Before we knew it, it was dusk and time for the long-awaited dinner. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the live kitchen. Fujimitei is a famous inn with a luxurious buffet. They have a wide selection of seafood dishes, a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, and of course a wide variety of desserts . All drinks, including alcohol, are all-you-can -drink. There are many types of alcohol, such as draft beer, chuhai, wine, and shochu, which got me excited. All the dinners were delicious and I was very satisfied. After finishing my meal and returning to my room , I could see the fountain show from the balcony. Good morning. I immediately went to have breakfast. By the way, the breakfast venue is from 7:00 to 9:30, so I thought the time was a bit strange, so I went to the venue around 8:00 on a whim, but I was able to enter normally. By the time the food replenishment ran out and they started cleaning up, so it might be safer to choose 7:00 for breakfast. By the way, in the morning, It was a Japanese, Western and Chinese buffet with a lot of seafood. Breakfast was also very delicious. Breakfast overlooking the sea was the best! After checking out, we recommend visiting the tourist spots in Chiba. Since the Edo period, the south side of Mt. Nokogiriyama, which was a quarry, has become the grounds of Nihon-ji Temple, and there is a 30.3m-tall Hyakushaku Kannon carved into a single rock. The famous “Hell’s Peek” is about 100m high. You can enjoy a powerful view from the tip of the protruding rock. This roadside station was renovated from a closed elementary school. You can return to your childhood and enjoy adult school lunches, become silly, or become a principal. It’s a mysterious place where middle-aged people become children. This parking area was built on a 650m-long artificial island surrounded by the sea on all sides. It is a rare offshore parking lot in the world. It has an observation deck, a shop, a restaurant, and more, and is also a small tourist spot. The view surrounded by the sea is breathtaking! Please stop by for a break.
