This time, I would like to visit the Nikko Kinugawa Hotel Mikazuki, which was renovated and reopened in March 2025 in Kinugawa Onsen, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, and was reborn as an all-inclusive hotel. I’m really looking forward to it. What kind of hotel is it? Let’s take a look together. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Usually, after checking in, we go on a room tour right away, but Mikazuki allows you to eat lunch even before checking in. So you can eat as much as you want for as long as you like. Let’s see what it’s like. For lunch we had yakisoba, pizza, and curry. There were also desserts, so I think it was enough for lunch. It would be fun to bring children. You can drink this too, which is nice. You can also drink as much draft beer and sours, as well as shochu and liqueurs. It’s certainly amazing. It tastes like homemade curry. It’s like a retort . Now that I’m full, I’d like to take a room tour right away. This time I’m in Room 1110 on the 11th floor of Sakuratei. This is a special room. What kind of room is it? Let’s go in. Now the door opens. Sakuratei has a bit of history . The room has a Showa-era feel to it . This time it’s a Japanese-Western type. There is indoor clothing in the lobby on the 3rd floor, but there is something to wear over it. Also, what is this backpack-like thing ? It’s an emergency safety item. It’s a first aid kit. There are no towels, but you can get towels and bath towels in the large bath, so it’s nice to be able to go empty-handed. This is the bedroom. It is a bed-type room. The futon is in the closet, so you can use it in the Japanese-style room or you can sleep in the bed here. There is a tea set right in front of the entrance. There is a refrigerator. There are two bottles of water in the Japanese-style room. This time, I booked through Rakuten Travel and got a Japanese- Western room plan with a discounted Sakuratei room buffet. It was 42,800 yen for two people for one night and two days on a weekday. Now, let’s go for a walk around the hotel. The building is divided into two buildings, Tsubaki-tei and Sakura-tei. There is a shop next to the lobby. The shop sells local ingredients and has a wide variety of products. Next to that is the kids’ room. The lobby has large windows, so it is a comfortable space with a lot of light coming in. From the lobby, there is a pool where you can bathe in a swimsuit in the hot spring, and a water basin terrace where you can enjoy a foot bath or hand bath while looking out over the Kinugawa River valley. At night, the atmosphere is even better. Next to the front desk , there are work clothes, rental swimsuits, and a locker room. You can put your luggage in the locker room and play in the pool, so it’s very convenient. There are also a wide variety of activities such as table tennis and a game center. I think you can have a lot of fun even if you come with your family or friends. In addition to the main building, there is an indoor spa and a rooftop pool. The spa has a sauna, jacuzzi , water slide, etc. Also, the rooftop pool is only available in the summer, so I think it’s best to check in advance if you go. Most people arrive quite early, play in the pool, have lunch, and then check in. It is a hot spring where you can enjoy more than 20 types of hot springs, and it is alternate between men and women. I don’t think you can enjoy everything in one visit, so you can enjoy it many times. Next, we will return to the All Day Dining restaurant for dinner. At the restaurant, the chef carefully selected seafood and meat. There are many kinds of vegetables, sushi, steaks, and a wide variety of desserts. There is also a kids’ buffet, and it is great that there is an all-you-can-drink option with over 20 types of alcohol. The menu had a lot of hearty dishes, and they were a bit brown, so they went well with beer. The main dishes were sushi, udon, and ramen. There was also bread for Western food, so there was a lot to eat. Thank you for your hard work . There was a lot of brown. It’s irresistible when you burn off high calories in the pool at lunchtime. It’s delicious. I didn’t burn off any calories, though. I drank a lot of alcohol and was completely drunk. Now, let’s take a look at the breakfast menu. The breakfast menu had a lot of Japanese food, which was the menu I am personally most familiar with. The all-you-can-eat lunch menu and dinner menu are quite a variety, so it’s perfect for giving your stomach a rest. There was pizza for lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and they changed the type depending on the time, so it was delicious. All the pizzas were delicious, both in the morning and afternoon.
