We are heading to Funka Bay Panorama Park in Yakumo Town. Funka Bay Panorama Park is a vast park that makes use of hilly land and has Makiba Adventure Square, a park golf course, a panorama hall, camping facilities and more. If you go from National Route 5, you will see a beautiful row of white birch trees. We arrive at the free parking lot. Panorama Park information board. We head to the flower field to see the cosmos, which are in full bloom in September. A sign with flower letters read “Panorama Park”. Up ahead is the flower field (cosmos field) . A scarecrow will welcome you in the flower field. There is a promenade around the flower field, so you can take a walk all the way around. The flower field is said to be about 1.7 hectares in size. Cosmos are blooming in the flower field. We visited in September, but at this time of year you can see many other flowers besides cosmos. Panorama Park is located just off the Do-o Expressway. It’s adjacent to the Yakumo Parking Area (PA), so it’s a great place to stop by during your break. It seems like you can take commemorative photos here. There were puddles from the previous day’s rain. Around here, you’re halfway around the flower fields. Near Funka Bay Panorama Park, there’s “Harvester Yakumo.” It appears to have been used as a test farm for Kentucky Fried Chicken. You can eat fried chicken made with domestically raised herb-fed chicken. The view from inside the restaurant and from the terrace seats is fantastic, so it might be a good idea to stop by when you visit Panorama Park. Thank you for watching until the end. 北海道八雲町にある「噴火湾パノラマパーク」のコスモス花畑を散策します。広大な丘に広がる秋のコスモスは、噴火湾を背景にした絶景スポット。白樺並木や遊具のある広場もあり、家族連れやドライブ途中の休憩にもおすすめです。一般道からもアクセス可能で、八雲PAに隣接しているので立ち寄りやすいのも魅力です。
