もう一度、あの場所へ行く。東北ロングツーリング3日目 岩手→宮城【バイク|CB250R】

Good morning. It’s the morning of the third day of our three-day, two-night long trip around Tohoku. Well, I’ve been running all day and the day before yesterday. I’m currently in Morioka city, Iwate prefecture. All that’s left now is to go back to Sano. However, I only have to go back to Sano from here. It would just be a highway driving video. I think I’ll stop by somewhere for a bit. So, it’s a place to drop by, Rikuzentakata City in Iwate Prefecture and Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture. However, it takes about 4 or 5 hours to get to Sano from here. I’ll try to leave as soon as I’ve finished lunch if possible. Hotel Ace Morioka The sake at the izakaya yesterday was delicious I don’t remember where it was though Let’s leave now We quickly make our way through the chaotic city National Route 396 It’s cloudy, but the light filtering through the gaps in the clouds is beautiful. Go almost straight to Rikuzentakata city The numerous scarecrows are a local specialty. I arrived in Tono City, Iwate Prefecture. Miyamorigawa Bridge, known as the Megane Bridge in the Kanto region Tono City is the setting for “The Tales of Tono.” I’d like to see a kappa next time I go. I don’t have time so I’ll move on National Route 340 If you can see the Kesen River, you’ll soon be near the coast Prefectural Route 38 From here you can see that the houses are scattered around. The buildings are all new Takada Matsubara Reconstruction Memorial Park Takada Matsubara Roadside Station That’s how it started This video is a journey through the earthquake and the present. If you are interested, please read to the end. That’s surprising, riders also come here. Go see the Miracle Pine Tree It was a few hundred meters walk away. Miracle Pine Tree At the time, there were mixed opinions about leaving it as a replica. What do the victims think when they look at it again? Next door is the Rikuzentakata Youth Hostel Thanks to the fact that the facility, which was originally a youth hostel, was located here It is said that the lone pine tree survived the tsunami and remained standing. Climb the seawall stairs Beyond the seawall, Takada Matsubara, a coastal forest, is planted. All planting was completed in 2021, a recent event. It will take several decades for the trees to grow. On this day, junior high school students came to visit. Today’s junior high school students were about one year old at the time. This is the remains of the Tapic 45 roadside station from that time. Visit the museum This is part of the bridge that collapsed in the tsunami. A fire engine swept away by the tsunami A glimpse into the situation in Rikuzentakata at the time There is also a souvenir shop, so I bought some. hot! Today’s temperature is 35℃. I’m walking around in the scorching sun with determination. Sanriku Expressway Rikuzentakata IC I’ll be using the free high speed again today. The Sanriku Expressway is free for 333km from Sendai Kohoku IC to Hachinohe JCT This time, we will use Rikuzentakata IC to Sendai Kohoku IC. I arrived in Kesennuma City Sanriku Expressway Kesennuma Bay Crossing Bridge I’m taking a detour to cross this bridge I arrived near the harbor Prefectural Route 5 Take a photo at the spot you have your eye on With Kesennuma Port and Kesennuma Plaza Hotel in the background There’s a reason why I came to Kesennuma City I want to eat the tuna bowl at Izakaya Tasuku. I want to finish my Tohoku long tour with a tuna bowl By the way, the place we are walking is Ukimido, a tourist spot in Kesennuma. I didn’t realize it, but there are a lot of stylish buildings now. Well, if you haven’t been here in years, it’s probably different. If the curtain is down, it means they’re open. Huh? No way? I didn’t do it… temporary closed Like that… That will surprise the girls too I came all the way here because I wanted to eat Tasuku’s seafood bowl. This concludes our Tohoku long tour. Really nice wind. I’ve never seen “Welcome Back Mone,” but I wonder who starred in it. I distract myself by talking to myself I left Kesennuma with a sad feeling. Kesennuma Sea Market Eating bonito rice bowl gave me energy. It was delicious and satisfying. I want to buy it and take it home, but it’s impossible. Running along the harbor You can’t see the ocean from this road because of the seawall. We will pass over the Kesennuma Bay Crossing Bridge. Kesennuma Bay Crossing Bridge: One of the symbols of Tohoku’s reconstruction Apparently it’s lit up at night, so I’m thinking of taking a day trip to see it. Kesennuma also has remains from the earthquake It’s over time, but I’d like to take a look. Kesennuma City Great East Japan Earthquake Memorial Museum I have seen remains of earthquakes in several places in the past. This is a place I would especially like you to see. First, you will watch a 10-minute video and then tour the ruins. Photography is not permitted in the museum, but is permitted within the ruins. 1st floor: “Destroyed school building” So there’s a wheelchair? 3rd floor: “Cars washed away by the tsunami” 4th floor: “Tsunami arrival point” The area that was eroded by the tsunami and turned red with rust is the end point. This classroom was washed away by a freezing factory.
The outer wall of the school building collapsed in the crash, and factory sponges are scattered around the room. Rooftop: “The Evacuation Route” All students and teachers at the school were able to evacuate to the roof and were safe. General Training Building “Stacked Cars” I guess that’s because it was a fisheries high school. There are some nasty clouds approaching, I think I’ll go home early. I wanted to go to the beach, but the weather looks uncertain so I’m heading home now. If I had time, I would have gone to Iwaizaki. Then I saw that I could park at Otani Beach, so I stopped by. Otani coast I’ll take a quick photo Ah, wait a minute!! That’s just some material (used for editing). Where did it go? There it is. I’ll come again Tohoku Sanriku Expressway Otani Kaigan IC Rifu JCT Tohoku Expressway, near Nasu Kogen SA We made it to the Kanto region without any traffic jams. We’re almost to Sano SA Tohoku Expressway Sano SA (upbound) Thank you for watching this video until the end I hope it will be helpful for your touring So everyone, have a safe bike ride today!
